Watching other offenses across the league on a weekly basis has made it pretty clear to me that many other teams, players, coaches, and scheming have just blown by the Eagles and left them and Doug in the dust. 2017 may as well have been 25 years ago because that's what it feels like. There aren't many teams out there where it feels like they have to move mountains just to get a first down. That's what it feels like with the Eagles and it's felt that way since 2018.

I honestly don't get the Eric Bieniemy love.  Give me a coach who makes average players better.  Not a coach who has the best QB in the game to go along with top 5 WR and TE.

I want nothing to do with him.  No more AR coaching tree guys either.  We need fresh ideas.

I'm with ya there. I don't know how much of their success is because of him.

Oh good.   I was worried someone wouldn't bring it up.

Lol Good luck hoping not to hear about how bad Howie is at his job whenever metcalf or hopkins makes a play

Once again, Howie boasts one of the NFL's least productive rookie draft classes...and one of the least productive year 2 classes...and one of the least productive year 3 classes.

I've felt for some time, that it feels like every yard and point we get is very labor intensive.

I just can’t get over how bad Wentz has declined. Doug was always meh, but Wentz looked like a HOFer.

I’m done defending him. There’s not too many players on in year 5 of their career that have their worst season then improve. Hope I’m wrong.

Rams just have the seahawks number. Won 8 of their last 11

As our LBs stumble around the field, is our 3rd round pick still on the team?

LB factory!

We brought in jjaw for plays like this

That is a BIG time catch.  Three defenders on him and he out-leaps and out-muscles all of them to make a total hands catch.  When I read that ARI won on a Hail Mary I figured the ball bounced around and they got lucky it fell to one of their WRs.  When I saw the highlight, which was live then slow-mo from multiple angles, I was amazed how he won that ball over 3 defenders.

Yes, with two seconds left on the clock for the win. And Kyler Murray’s scramble and throw was insane.

I’ll have to watch it but that’s a Calvin Johnson like play

I don’t know if anyone noticed this but it seems like Wentz is making tons of low percentage throws on 3rd and 4th downs.

I blame Marty Mornhingweg . I know he's behind this dreadful offense!

Which is sad because the game is designed and curated for offenses to flourish nowadays. If you're a defender, you can't get physical with a receiver without drawing a holding, illegal contact, or pass interference call. You're not allowed to lay guys out across the middle anymore. And you're not allowed to touch the quarterback. Defenses are playing with an inherent disadvantage because of the rules, and this offense is still stuck in the stone ages.

It's all around.

Here's a stat I'd love to see.  How many times do the Eagles start inside their own 10 yard line?  I swear this team takes more fair catches inside the 10 or let's the ball roll from the 15 only to die at the 5.

Kyler Murray is top 3 QB already

fing beast

This kid deserves MVP from this tweet alone

Yeah, that is getting really old. I almost yearn for the days of Reno Mahe just to make a fair catch.

I'm pretty sure the consensus is that this team is lacking talent.   Do we need to be told every time a player from another team makes a play that Howie could have gotten him, either by trade, draft or free agent signing?   If so, tell me now... I want to be prepared and I'll start to compile a list, that way we have a complete set of names, I'd hate to leave any of them off.  They all deserve equal time.

How frustrating to know that we are likely years away from being truly competitive again.

At least we won the SB.

You know... there's a lot of truth in that.  He was here in 2012 as well... 🤔

Eh teams rise and fall so fast in this league. Poor coaching and QB is a recipe for disaster though

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles!  Mentioned that 2/3 of their drives this year have been inside the 25... that's got to be tops in the league.

I know this is part sarcasm, but I do think there's some merit to it. Mornhinweg is an AWFUL offensive coordinator, assistant, consultant, or whatever the hell this team calls their offensive staff. The game has passed him by and he trots out nothing but stale offenses. All you need to do is go back to the Ravens pre-Lamar offense, the Jets, and even his time here under AR to see that.

I think it's safe to say Wentz has Carr syndrome at this point.  He wasn't terrible today, but wasn't good either.

If you’re going by 2020 standards, he wasn’t terrible.
