They are 6-3 and the Eagles are a dumpster fire.

Nobody is arguing either of those points. Not sure why you’re fixated on this. They’ve beaten Cinci x2, Dallas, Washington, the colts, and Houston. Not exactly murders row. They got killed by Pit, and Bal and got controlled by the raiders. You want to crown them that’s all good. I’m not sold, think we match up decently and have a feeling we win this one and then lose four. We’ll see.

Also Myles Garrett is going to be a big problem.

They have a pretty good defense actually.

A player of his caliber will always be a problem, but Lane played all of the game and didn't allow a single pressure. Hopefully he can slow him down.

I think we beat Cleveland. They snuck past Houston yesterday.

I dunno.  Daniel Jones is half the athlete that Baker is.  If the Browns are smart they look at all those plays where Jones ran against the Eagles and mimic them.  Same goes for the Cardinals and Seahawks.

Don't the Browns also have a pretty good set of tight ends?

Danny dimes' TD run was ridiculous. He blew past our entire defense and left them eating his dust. So embarrassing

Did we get any injury updates today?  Is Rudy Ford OK?  The guy is starting to look like the ST demon he was supposed to be but he can't keep his hamstrings healthy to save his life.

Again, what is this training staff doing to prevent injuries?

I'm not fixated on anything. The Browns are simply a far superior team to the Eagles right now which is a fact. Could the Eagles win, sure. Is counting on it setting yourself up for disappointment, absolutely.

I think he was a 2001 pick.

He was the Eagles' pick right after Sheldon Brown... still in Round 2.

2002 was Lito, Brown, Lewis, Westbrook in Rounds 1-3.

ANY offense that runs any type of motion, fakes, misdirection, etc is going to own the Eagles defense. It's gotten comically bad. Right before the first Daniel Jones TD run my 13 year old son says ''if the Giants are smart they will do a read option with Jones since Schwartz can't adjust to anything.'

I'll feel much more confident if Seumalo and Herbig are ready to go. I worry that Cleveland will move Garrett around and get him matched up against the guards inside if Pryor or Opeta have to play. The Browns don't have really any great pass rushers other than Garrett though so there isn't much else to worry about. Then again it's not farfetched for a nobody to have a breakout game against us either.

It's a good thing we have a proven, reliable LB core to slow them down. Oh wait...

Actually, I have faith in TJ Edwards as a run stuffer type LB.  The issue is the edge with Sweat crashing down so hard all the time, the QB can (and likely will) have a field day again.

Listening to 97.5 and some thoughts I already had.  Did Doug draft Hurts because he wants to move to the Kyler Murray / Lamar Jackson type offense ??  Seems to me that it is to late to jump on that train, defenses have figured out how to deal with Jackson, and Murray has had some dud's this year.  No matter whay gimmicky college offense someone tries, the NFL always catches up.

Remember when the Eagles tried to get Dan Orlovsky to be a coach here? Kind of feel like that’s not going to ever happen now

He definitely could not work with Doug, unless he was named offensive co ordinator and play caller and Doug was told to stay out of the way.

Yeah... I don't think that's remotely accurate.   Which is which?

Craig James also put on IR

Jeez, he's still playing?   No wonder he's on IR, the guy is like 60.

Apparently you can’t come back twice from IR either, so we lost our only backup outside CB

Really?  Wow.  I had no idea they were that similar.  In watching them I would say Baker is superior in most.  They sure look different in their pads when moving around.  I think of Baker as a guy that can make wild plays when protection breaks down, able to make guys miss and such.  Jones IMO was just an above average athlete.  Thanks for sharing this.

Doug isn't creative enough to run that type of offense. Just look at the plays he has Hurts running now. Predictable, boring, and inefficient. That's why the whole Taysom Hill comparison was stupid. Payton is one of the most creative playcallers and designers in the game. That's why Hill works there. Doug isn't.

That will help make us feel better.

Doug’s recent interactions with the press do not convey emotional intelligence.

I mean, that looks great and all but he also let up a 78 yard TD that doesn't show up on the stat line

Nice try. Show me where I said I’m counting on it or anything else with these eagles. I’ll wait. Go ahead

Jones is more of a pocket passer.  Mayfield is more of a gunslinger type.   I think the difference you see is the style differences in play, but Jones destroyed this defense when they gave him easy lanes and his speed was unmatched by our defense on his first TD run.   He beat their angles.
