What’s so interesting is that the Eagles played the same way yesterday that they did in weeks 1-8.  No better, no worse.  They have been uniformly horrible.

Their wins against the Giants, Dallas, and even SF featured play that was no better than this.  This time, they just had a couple bounces against them and took the L.  Yet after the Dallas and Giants wins there was this delusional silver lining.  Now, panic.  Why?  All they did was play the same way they have all year.

Wow Justin Jefferson - 627 yards , 18.4 yards per catch (league high) coming into tonight’s game

That kid is special

Leave out the multiple draft picks.  You’d be trading for a 31 year-old with a dismal playoff pedigree and paying him handsomely.  No way you should be giving up any future asset for that.

Bodes well for moving Wentz in a couple years.  😂

The bears are basically the Eagles with a better defense

Yeah i cant argue.   The field position (bad bounces like you said or bad special teams?) killed them.
They started O inside the 10 several times. And bad teams simply cant overcome horrible field position.

He certainly looks it. I don't see Reagor in that category at all. A shame

Lol I didn’t bring up howies continued draft failures. Just crediting Jefferson.

I like Reagor. Doug and the offensive staff are just completely lost on how to utilize him...per usual.

Give Reagor some time, he’s shown flashes this year and is still a rookie. Many NFL media guys had predicted Jefferson would be a high volume guy in Kubiak’s offense.

I know.  But Jefferson was my guy leading up to the draft.... but I don't want to say anything about it.

Jefferson was my no.1 do not draft guy for the Eagles.  Not because I was by any means certain that he’d bust...but because the Eagles have an unending scrap heap of failures at wr who do their best work underneath and lack exceptional movement skills.

We just didn’t need another guy in that mold.  But there are HOF’ers in that mold.

Jefferson is looking like Diggs, whom he replaced.  Good for him.

That was more of an emasculation of the Vikings than a win, so it goes in a different column.

a guy with a source has mentioned potential Ben Simmons for James Harden trade discussions.

a different guy called Vin Fosh has thrown a bunch of crap against the wall and sees what sticks. He did call Chris Paul to the Suns almost 24 hours before Woj tweeted it. So, there may be a grain of salt, or more with this

Vin Fosh is a pathological liar. He tweeted Julio to the Eagles was a done deal and has posted many other false rumors. I called him out publicly and he blocked me.

He’s literally the last source on the internet I would ever trust.

Thielen with the one-handed circus grab.

My suspicion with him is that he has sources but no filter. Whereas some people will be careful to put out rumors when talks have more traction, I think Fosh is spitting out every little thing he catches wind of, even when its just very preliminary. 99% of those discussions go nowhere and we never know about them. Then he looks bad for saying it.

But, he had Morey to philly. And he had Chris Paul 24 hours before the very legit Woj. So... he gets some right. His style just makes it look like a very small percentage. However, they may not be just complete fabrications. He may actually be hearing those things.

Come on, its ESPN. You'd expect any better?

It's a struggle. I didn't like him all that much coming out and he's not doing anything to change my feelings.

Right? Like you would think James Harden has been the best playoff performer of all time. The guy has choked and not shown up for big games in the playoffs throughout his career and yet people are like well will just trade away Everything for him. And he’s going to be 32 and has maybe 2-3 prime years left. James Harden every time there’s a game seven or a big game tends to never show up. Not just not show up he’s been awful in those games

Harden's game, which is predicated on getting to the free throw line, doesn't work in the playoffs because the refs allow more aggressive defense once the playoffs start. He's a big name and a good player, but wouldn't bring a championship here or anywhere.

That’s how I feel about him. He’s probably the best regular season player or one of the best in the league. However in the postseason you’ve seen it against better teams in big games he just no-shows. Like we’re mad about Joel and Ben not showing up for games, he is the classic no-show in a big game for of the reasons you said.

so Unless you put him with Kevin Durant who is going to carry that team in the playoffs and he’s a secondary guy then it works. The 76ers don’t have Kevin Durant to just rely on in the playoffs and Harden to play second fiddle. Unless we are assuming Joel Embiid is going to be the top guy and harden plays off him which I don’t see. Frankly you’re also going to have to give up Ben Simmons to get that trade done. I’m not willing to trade Ben Simmons who is entering his prime for James Harden who might give you two prime years and still doesnt make you the best team in the Eastern conference. The only way I would make that move is if I got to keep embiid and Simmons which there is no chance of that happening.

I think the move you’re gonna wind up seeing the Sixers make is trading Al Horford, Richardson and that 21st overall pick to get out of Al Horford‘s contract and get a somewhat useful player.

Makes you feel any better i wanted us to trade up for jaylon Johnson the utah corner when we were sitting at 53. I thought he was the perfect pairing with slay. Our secondary would look a lot better with him as our second corner

Did the bears take foles off the field when they used Patterson as the wild cat QB?

That’s fair. I completely understand fans that preferred Jefferson over Reagor at draft time, because I wasn’t super thrilled about the pick but I understood it. I’m more upset Eagles didn’t trade up for CeeDee Lamb. I like Reagor, but I’d prefer Lamb over Reagor/Taylor.
I’d be far more concerned with Reagor if he was having a JJAW like rookie season

If we need a corner in the draft, look for Howie to take a fullback or a long snapper
