Yeah and sometimes I can be too. That said you presented yourself well and didn't appear to be stubborn about your point of view, which also makes conversations a little easier.

Yeah I can be an A hole sometimes as well.

Id hope I present myself well even if I'm mistaken misinformed wrong or in the process of coming to an understanding and realize I don't always do so.

I have never seen that study before and I think maybe a few posters rehashed it before and I wasn't privy to that discussion so I get when I say something that they possibly discussed for days on  end that my comments may be too much for some to respond to civilly.

All this talk about A-holes is getting OBJ excited to play here

My apologies if I was being an A-hole.

You sure you have time to do this every time you are 🙄

Yep, I mentioned this yesterday.  If they are that worried he is going to get hurt then why have him on the team?  Are we going to play Brandon Brooks half the plays next year for fear he tears something again?

Jackson got dinged when he made the tackle on the INT and was working his shoulder some on the sidelines.  I'm not sure why people are confused that he missed some snaps because of this.

No.  Before the injuries I was saying this is an 8-8 team.  And I am not just talking about the 2020 draft.  But knowing the holes and age we had at the D-line and O-line.  You don't draft a project QB with the 2nd pick.    Howie is not a GM.  He's a capologist and he's now failing at that.  The next time you are critical of anything Eagles related will be the first time.   Howie, Doug and Lurie are all too smart for their own good.  Or at least they think they are.

I’ve been critical of the team in the past.  I was critical of the way Chip Kelly handled the team and the last 1 1/2 years of his tenure here.

I also wasn’t thrilled with how the entire Foles situation was handled and thought that a guy that won us our first  Super Bowl could have been given the opportunity to come back and compete for a starting role, especially since he came back the year following the Super Bowl and lead the team on another "near miracle run” which ended on a pass going through Jeffery’s hands.

But I’ve moved forward and understand that Wentz is the franchise QB and that this team can win with him as QB.

Of course I’m going to be "optimistic”.  I’m an Eagles fan.  There’s too much out there to get "upset over” in 2020, so I’ll gladly be optimistic about the Eagles.

Might want to ask Shocker. Im sure hes had him on his MUT Madden team as soon as he saw the rumor that Browns are shopping him.

O-line is a tad different than receiver,no? D-Jax is who we have right now and the young guys will take his place. What's the damn big deal if the young guys (receivers) get some snaps in while we try and keep d-jax from injuring himself?  From what I saw from 1 game (small sample size) give me reagor over jackson quite honestly

So let’s get this straight. Let’s say the Eagles aren’t lying and DeSean is totally healthy. The Eagles had to have known for months they were going to give DeSean days off and make him limited during games to keep him fresh. You don’t just decide this in September.

and yet still, with knowing they were going to limit their #1 WR even when he’s not injured(which no other team in the NFL is doing) they waited until late April to address the position.

its utterly laughable.

Too many assumptions in this to take seriously.

No you weren't but thanks.

In the end it doesn't matter at all if they are lying or if its the truth anyways. If hes injured does it matter on what the fans views are? Can we change the fact hes injured? Nope So no point in worrying about it.

So... Why isn't Howie on an extremely short leash? Why isn't he on the hot seat? I do find that both baffling and extremely worrying.

The only issue I ever had with you was on the old board when you used to come in the blog and complain because we were talking about off topic stuff and if I remember right you used to complain that we all thought we were batter than everyone else. That said you seem fine over here. I think you are a decent "blogster".

1. OK we don't know what's going on within the organisation but I mean within the media etc.

2. Because he's not a very good GM overall? Because he's got to rebuild a team which he will need to do through the draft when he's not very good at drafting.

Yes the Phillies bullpen gets offended. Gotta be careful

Howie is the only GM in team history to win a Super Bowl. The Eagles have made the playoffs 3 straight years.
He should not be on the hot seat. Now, if the Eagles miss the playoffs this year, then the seat gets warm.

He built that SB team before giving Wentz his big contract. That window is now closed and he's now got to rebuild a team with negative cap space. That means drafting and he's not good at that. So given the circumstances he should be fired.

Lol thanks the blog has grown on me. My main complaint was that the blog was redundant which I still think it is and I think that redundancy is necessary to disrupt the inanity of tate😄

I had a few unpleasant interactions with a few posters on the blog and I think I took it out on the blog as a whole. I think the majority of those posters either got banned or don't post anymore.

Having said that I appreciate the interactions I get to have on the blog and though I already apologized  a while ago for antagonizing the blog I will apologize again and say I'm sorry and I appreciate the blog and it's ers.

I'd like to blame chemo but really I was just being an A hole🙃

That's your opinion. Hopefully you aren't making that assumption just because of 1 loss. As long as we continue to have winning seasons and make the playoffs I doubt Howie will be in any danger.

Lol, I guess it depends on who I’m being an A-hole to.

A Super Bowl title followed by consecutive playoff berths mostly.

Most national observers predicted the Eagles would be somewhere between 10-6 and 8-8 for this season -- a few had them winning the division, more had them as a wildcard team, and a few had them just missing out on the playoffs.  I suspect Lurie's expectations are to compete for and win the division, and win at least one playoff round.

If the team has an unexpected "down year" and actually goes 6-10 or worse, then I suspect Doug will be on the hot seat first.  It's usually the HC that feels the consequences of coming short of expectations first -- and, frankly, Doug doesn't exude enough confidence to keep him over the General Manager.

Lurie has A LOT of skeletons in his closet that Howie has the key to. Only thing that makes sense.

No need to apologize, like I said you seem fine to me. Most of us have disagreements from time to time. I still get a little angry at certain "posters" but in the long run I've tried to be more like J.R. and Big E and just be patient. I also use ignore when I think certain posters are idiots, just makes it easier for me to let them do their thing and others can deal with them.

I was more or less trying to make a point with the BB comparison.  I have no problem playing the young guys, I'm happy they are.  We need to see if they have it or not.  The issue lies more or less in DP and his explanation of making sure they rested DJack so they have him for the rest of the year.  DJack, when healthy and he is, is our best WR.  Reagor will be there soon but I want them on the field together as much as possible.  He still had the most targets our of all WR so the ball is going his way.
