Honestly I’d rather see John hightower out there. He’s had some bad plays but he’s also had some big plays for the Eagles. That long reception against the Giants in the first game started the come back. I much prefer him going through growing pains then alshon being out there.

My top goal is getting Wentz right. I don’t want players on the field screwing up all over the place like Hightower. I’m willing to sacrifice his development for the sake of Wentz.

Reagor has his own growing pains to work through, so I prefer not having two guys like that on the field for now.

Let Fulgham and Reagor play 100 percent of the time, and when we go to 11 personnel, some kind of rotation of Alshon, Ward and Hightower is fine, and preferably in that order.

So Dillard gets traded in 2 of the scenarios I saw. I just can't see them giving up on Dillard already

Had no idea Parkey was with the Browns now

I had know idea ronnie harrison is playing for the browns. Acquired for a 5th rd pick and balling out in Cleveland.

You can’t just take the consequences of being over the cap, you would be fined and lose draft picks until you were under. All while not being able to sign FA’s, rookies or UDFAs. Any person you try to sign would get automatically rejected by the league. They have to get under the cap, their isn’t any other option.

I wonder if they will consider forgoing penalties or compliance for a season given the revenue situation.

Your assessment of Greg Ward is consistent.  What do you think of Bill Ward??

Why the hell is Alshon Jeffery getting snaps that are taking away from your young kids who and fulgham likely going to be your starter on the outside next year and going forward?

Same reason Peters is taking snaps away from Mailata

That would be fine except I don’t believe Alshon Jeffery out there is actually helping Carson Wentz.

frankly if we are trying to help Carson get back on track then we should be targeting Dallas goedert and Travis Fulgham more than what we have over the last two games and not overtargeting reagor who just came back.

That's not entirely true.  Wentz looked much better last year down the stretch with Ward out there.   AFTER Alshon was no longer in the huddle, etc.  Ward is limited, but he's a team first guy.   Alshon seems to be very much a 'me-first' guy.   People point to him playing 2017 with the rotator cuff injury, but forget the context that he was a free agent the year before, and had a bit of a 'fragile' tag placed on him.  He didn't get much of a market as a free agent, which is why he came here on a one-year deal.  Then, for him to go out with a rotator cuff injury in the middle of 2017 would have cemented that injury label on him... so he played through it, not necessarily for the 'team', but for his next contract.  I didn't think that when I initially heard the reports about his injury in 2017, but it fits.  And his actions since then have been more about making sure that someone else is getting blamed for the offense's struggles and not him.

Agreed.   But, backstabbers aren't going to get him right, imho.

Don't see it happening. They already negotiated and agreed to the fall out. If they went a year without compliance teams would manipulate the hell out of that.

But if he didn’t think he was getting through the pick or that the pick was effective enough to disrupt the corner it could have been an interception in his mind.

It was poor execution by the WRs, and Wentz didn’t trust it as it played out. I don’t blame him for double clutching. Reagor’s route was clunky as hell.

Okay and you're allowed to feel that way, but even as President and C.E.O. of the Carson Wentz club I feel differently about it and have since game time.

See, if you lose the fist fight with your boss you can go back and act contrite -- maybe get your job back.  When you dust him, you're pretty much done

Really? I mean we are all entitled to our own opinions but I mean I can think of several he's badly missed on and it's potentially cost us points and possibly games.

I don’t think they’re over targeting Reagor. They’re just not doing a good job scheming him. Goedert has been way too quiet since his return.

Maybe Alshon is completely washed and cutting weight didn’t help him at all. I’m not willing to die on this hill, but he does provide a bigger body and bigger catch radius for our inaccurate QB to throw to.

Maybe Doug and Marty need to throw down...

Marty needs to get thrown out.

Doug, Howie and Jimbo need to have "try outs"

I'd take Doug in that fight.

I'm not discounting fist fight so quickly .... a coach doesn't usually get fired immediately after a verbal disagreement.  Maybe if he's been undermining him as a pattern of behavior.

I'm surprised he's still in the league at all.

😱

If Carson receives this same level of constant excuse making within the building it is no wonder he's playing the way he is.
