Same with Peters and DeSean.  We need to know if Rearor, Fulgham and Ward are the starters next year, and need Hightower and Watkins to get reps.

Need to know if Mailata can start if needed.  We need to know about the youth on this team, as they are going to be needed next year.

I would say the same with Curry

Doug needs to learn tough love and sit that has been Peters already or throw him at rg

That's coming from upper management even if Dougy did want to sit him. Howie has to go

Agreed.  Loyalty to players is what created the mess this team is currently in.  Should have never extended Alshon, never brought back D Jax, and Peters should have been put out to pasture last year.

I dont know the answer, this is my of a question....

If Russ Wilson is in the end zone(live ball) about to throw the ball to Lockett  but DK decides to karate kick someone 30 yards down field it would result in a Safety?

Does Doug know the trade deadline passed and he can stop lying now?

They should've put Jeffery on IR before the season started. Letting him play Sunday was dumb imo. Play the young guys and see what you have. Jeffery won't be on this team next year so why play him

So he can tear his ACL and we are forced to keep him next year.

I think that at least has been established

Teams adjust once they see tendencies.  We need to see how he is playing 8, 10, 16 games in.

I agree.  Mailata has already shown to be (at the very least) a serviceable Tackle, imo.   And he seems to be getting better and better with more experience, reps, etc.

I dont believe that.

Dougs a players coach. Doug is in Howies ears and if you think and look hard you can see it.

He announces he wants to "play above the rim and we get 6'4'' mack hollins and 6'3'' JJAW

He announces he wants to be speedy and we draft Reagor

Loves the idea of Taysom Hill, we get Hurts.

I don't think JJAW was on Doug. Remember they also passed on McLaurin and Slayton who have been more productive.  I think it was due to the problems with Sidney Jones and the concerns about DK's injury. Also, I think scouting metrics impacted the board.  According to Jeff McLane:

Metcalf wasn’t on the Eagles’ draft board in the first two rounds, however, because he failed the team’s physical, sources said. A neck injury in October 2018 ended his redshirt sophomore season and was enough to drop him into latter-round assessments for some teams, including the Eagles.

also later in the article:

Arcega-Whiteside isn’t the first early-round receiver to struggle in his first season. If he were to take a significant leap in Year 2, he wouldn’t be the first either. Some receivers need more time than others. Roseman noted that three of the top rookie receivers — Metcalf, McLaurin, and Slayton — never caught more than 40 passes in a season during college.

"Is that a factor for us when we look at college production and we kind of see how important that is to us?” Roseman asked. "Do we need to go back and look at that? I think we do.”https://www.inquirer.com/eagles/jj-arcega-whiteside-dk-metcalf-eagles-draft-board-failed-physical-receivers-20200108.html

I don't think any of those factors have to do with Doug's preference.  I think this is the personnel and medical staff making determinations.

Agreed if were talking long term starter. I think he in the least can start if needed like in a Big V role. Progress from where he was at last year, but I would like to see him get more playing time.

Why isn’t this finger just being splinted, or taped to another finger?

BTW, for anyone that plays fantasy and is in an ESPN league, you can pick up Taysom Hill and put him in as your TE since his designation is QB/TE. You can thank me later and venmo me 5% of any cash winnings.

Pretty sad that we have to sit here and talk about players playing so well on other teams that Howie failed at acquiring which were positions of need where he took duds. Hopefully some of our players can actually do something exciting on the field to give us hope. But watching all these young receivers in the league really is so depressing and getting to be nauseating.

This is why I always just shake my head when I come in here and see you guys talking about wanting Jamar Chase and Davonta Smith and Waddle as if Howie would actually draft them.

Howie is taking Joe ChoirBoy from Saint Catholic Mountain Baptist Christian State College. He runs a 4.79 with terrible hands but he always celebrate with his teammates after touchdowns. He graded out higher than Waddle on Howies board

He pulled the old Zack wheeler on the Eagles

I find it funny cause they mainly run walk throughs under Doug. Anyone looks fast when the defense is going half speed and cant hit.

Taysom hill a really good tight end option on ESPN fantasy football.

Doug is definitely throwing more and running less with Garrett out.

I dont think it mattered if Garrett was playing or not, Doug will still throw more with less running. That is Doug.

Peters is buddy buddy with Lurie. I do think Doug is letting Peters have LT but even if he wanted to change that I don't think he could. As the losses pile up (god willing) then it will be more about the future and hopefully Jordan gets the LT spot. But that is probably 4 weeks away easily.

No Garrett is a BIG deal. We're winning on Sunday

Also a positive we don’t have to worry about our quarterback getting smashed in the head with a helmet

But watching all these young receivers in the league really is so depressing and getting to be nauseating. Especially knowing we could had just about any one of them. If Jeff doesn't make a move at the end of the year then shame on him. Have fun being one of the worst teams in one of the worst division in football. Gold standard

Is it possible that if we drafted Metcalf, McLaurin, Jefferson or any other WR that they'd be having the same success here?  Doubtful.

The offense to me is a mess.  Best thing they do is run the ball but they dont do it enough.  If they became a run first team they might be better right now.  Passing wise this team is awful.  Whether its Carson, Doug or the assistant coaches, its terrible.
