Saying a team is healthy by discounting two starting OL, one of which is an all-pro, is disingenuous.

Plus — I guess it’s just me — but I thought Zach Ertz was a starter ......

He's on the COVID-19 list. Same with Hightower.

JJAW yes, Hightower was cleared.

Sidney Jones was bad last week (got torched deep) and now he has another achilles injury? It looks like it'll never happen for him.

If you're into butterfly effects then you probably really don't like Jones

It's highly possible they take the chance and draft DK if they never took the chance and failed on Jones. There was no way they were going to draft DK with a neck injury after dealing with Jones

The Eagles are down 2 of 22 starters (Dillard and Brooks, both offseason injuries), technically down 0 of 22 week 1 starters.

I am not counting Desean...nor am I counting whatever they have going on at the LB position, unless you want to argue that they are unlucky that Nate Gerry is not available.

They might actually be one of the healthier teams in the league right now.

this is misleading, they are also starting tge 10th different combination on the oline, which includes 2 backups.

I gotta throw this in here again — why do people assume it’s a given the Eagles would have drafted DK Metcalf if not for the JJAW pick, and it was ONLY Howie’s stupidity that deprived Eagles fans??  Parris Campbell and Andy Isabella were both selected, between where we took JJAW and SEA took Metcalf.

It’s becoming really troll-worthy at this point

I guess you expect a clean 22 for 22 to be considered healthy.  You’ll be disappointed by injuries often then.

Interesting chatter that some teams may make a point of not hiring minority HC's or GM's developed by division rivals so they do not end up with extra picks...

This is what happens with stupid incentives... it creates disincentives and misguided priorities.

I had it at 24-19, not 24-17.

Fixed that up. Sorry!

Yep...I mean, it makes sense...you think someone in our division would hire Duce in a million years?  Or would they take a comparable candidate from outside the division?

Well, at least Arcega-Whiteside is active.

He’s out on the COVID list

Plus, losing Gerry was actually a positive because he is terrible.

Sure didn’t look like it last week

Is Huntley injured? Why would he not be active with Clement unavailable? Or have they already determined (but won't publicly say so, of course) that he's no good?

I said they would have taken the chance on DK if they didn't take the chance and fail on Jones. I don't think JJAW factors into it IMO

They have Holyfield called up

With Scott active, how many scatbacks do you need?

I'm going to be annoyed if Holyfield looks like a solid early down back today because the team has lacked that complement all season and he's just been sitting there on the practice squad.

No! I don't think I'll watch now.

Holyfield may get 3 carries.

And if Sanders goes down, you want more Boston Scott up the middle?

I don’t really understand why Herbig is inactive. He’s been better than Pryor and if you want to say it’s his injured finger than how bad is it that he practiced fully and wasn’t even on the injury report?

but he's like, super smart or something, at least according to the DC and LB coach

The LB coach needs to be fired. He said that Gerry is a starter because he knows how to get guys into the right formations. If a guy can't play and execute the plays himself, then he shouldn't be starting just because he knows how to make calls to get guys lined up.

yup.   You wonder if any decision makers actually think about those things when they make these types of decisions.

Herbig has a hand injury doesn't he?  I'd guess that is why he isn't starting today

I’m guessing once one person proposed it everyone else was terrified not to support it.

bizarre that he's not on the injury report

Which in itself is concerning.  Groupthink is dangerous and not having any critical analysis of a situation or proposal generally leads to bad decisions.  It's just bad process.
