Defense has been bailed out by Mayfield... but hasn't played poorly.  Offense has just shot themselves in the foot (and the team) with the turnovers.

I view it this way, how would you feel about Doug Pederson didn’t win that Super Bowl with the other 4 years more or less very similar offense for majority of the seasons? I think people would be furious about how the offenses looked in the four other seasons outside of that Super Bowl. And it’s not been all Carson wentz over the most of those four years it’s been doug and coaching not being very creative and the offense not very good. For whatever reason it takes him three months to understand the personnel that he has and how to play to their strengths

Rodgers failed to block a passrusher right in front of him.  It was a shot play and he got hit as he threw, it happens.
