For no reason. It was never more than a 1 score game until midway through the 4th Q.

And on top of that, 2 carries for Miles Sanders for the entire second half. So even when we did run it’s with inferior players.

This is the question I want asked...

Doug, when you play Darren Sproles the way you did the last 2 years, when you play Peters and Alshon like this, it makes one think there is either an unwillingness or inability to bring along newer players to step in and contribute.  Do you think you are hanging on too long or do you think they are still good players?

Cleveland number 1 fantasy D today

lol

I picked them up on a whim this week to drop SF. So happy I did. 25 points, would of been 28 without last second Wentz TD.

I hate rooting against the team but I really am starting to hope we don’t win the division this year. Obviously don’t deserve it, but need that high draft pick.

yes yes I know, Howie will screw it up or whatever

I have a hard time outright rooting for other teams to beat us, but I am perfectly ok resigning myself to the fact that it's going to happen anyway. We just need Washington or the Giants to pass us.

I still don’t think Doug gets fired. Not saying it shouldn’t happen, just don’t think it will happen

I mean, you could be right.

Just cause they are running a route doesnt mean they were part of the progression. When players run a route on a run play does that mean they have a chance to get a pass? lol. A jump ball like that is a first and only read in a play. You can see it was a snap, look and throw the jump ball. Was a bad play call, the ball was actually in the area but a horrible try by the WR. If he actually jumps  he gets his hands on it. Doesnt mean its a cth but not a easy pick.

I don’t think you could possibly be more wrong here.

Fulgham Mia for second game. Jeffery?  Wentz?  Need to find him again.

Covid, injuries...another thing I thought of other day was Eagles have been pretty close in every game they’ve lost this year, minus the Rams game.

I hope I’m not

I counted 5 total, but either way it was not enough for a RB who was carrying the ball as well as he was today.

This is one of the worst Eagles teams I've watched. This team is infinitely worse than Andy's last season here.

It does feel worse than the 98 team.

This is 100% happening and that’s what the spin machine will churn out.

That’s hard to do.

We make offensive ineptitude look easy.

Knee-jerk, but right now I want to see the following

- Cut Alshon Jeffrey
- Bench Greg Ward on punt return, for Reagor or someone else.
- Bench Peters and start Mailata
- Bench Mills for Parks at safety.

At least we make something look easy.

Well I guess we disagree. Ive been in that huddle, Im using real life past experiences in the locker room and playing field for my thought process. All the actions show me it was designed to be a one read jump ball there. But you have your view, Ill have mine.

This IS the worst Eagles team since 1998

Carson is a scrub and Doug is a fraud it was Reich

Bench Mills for Parks or Wallace.

Sucks the game played out the way it did. Eagles first drive was impressive minus the fumble, defense had done a really nice job against Chubb/Hunt for most part. Chubb & Hunt both had some really nice plays but I kind of expected that, they’re super talented guys. Wentz was really bad as game went on, mainly after that pick 6. Before that I thought he was doing good. I don’t think that pick 6 was all Wentz’s fault, Dick Rod completely missed his assignment on blitzing defender and that messed up Wentz’s throw. Dick Rod at least made up for it. Rough Fulgham game. Was hoping to see more from Reagor. Becoming more open to OL becoming a position needing to be addressed in early rounds of the draft.

another typical 2020 Eagles game, I don’t think we’ve seen the worst of it yet either.

Your playing experience led you to believe on a play with I believe four or five guys running routes, that Wentz’s only option on that play was to Alshon on a non-EZ pass? On first down?

There is no chance you’re right here. None.

Nevermind, I understand you just dont get it.

Wonder if the OL just doesn't give a crap anymore with how terrible Wentz has been.

They can't be that bad...can they?

I'm 100% fine with Wallace getting more snaps. Same with Taylor. People were saying he missed a read, but Edwards is constantly slow to the ball. Other than Singleton, there should be no locks at LB.

We lose out and Doug is gone along with most of his coaching staff

They won't lose out.  I don't envy Lurie with this decision.  They are between a rock and a hard place.

The big 3 here are Howie, Doug, and Wentz.  If they fire and scape goat 1-2 of them in an effort to salvage the other 1-2, that's going to get messy.  This team is U-G-L-Y.  2021 is going to be bad.  Whomever gets left behind and survives the guillotine...they will be just as bad in 2021.  So then 2021 passes...and what, then you axe the other 2?  No new talent, same GM, and a new coach...this offense isn't suddenly going to be pretty next year.  So then you are up against the out opportunity in Wentz' contract.

Likewise, Doug/Hurts and this team with this level of talent...that's going to be ugly in 2021.  So then you are likely hiring a new coach to bring along your top 5 qb selection for 2022.

No matter how you slice it, they can scapegoat 1...but they've already ruined the others, who will just be gone the following year anyway.

👀

The whole team probably feeling this way.

Mills hasn't been nearly as bad as Wentz, Peters, or Alshon.

There's absolutely no way he gets benched.  I realize Doug is in charge of the lineup on offense, Schwartz on defense...but Schwartz is as bad as any of them with playing favorites.

Forget about playing time for Hightower, Watkins, Wallace, or any of the young rookies.

They got embarrassed into using Mailata, but that's the only reason he got in there.
