He was well regarded in NO, though.  Not exactly a cast-off.

I don’t remember him being well liked, but you could be right. I know our fan base hated the signing, but that’s because we were so fixated on Byrd.

Gruden made Carr good, maybe we can get a coach in here that can salvage Wentz.

Seems like he only wanted to coach the Raiders

Chase 👍

Sitting #4 would be an interesting position on draft day.  You’d have to assume Lawrence and Fields go #1 and 2, but there are more QB needy teams that will want to look at moving up for a Trey Lance or the like.

If Eagles fans believe that Fulgham has come back to earth then it makes WR a necessity in round 1 or 2.  JaMarr Chase would be almost a no-brainer, yet there is also Jaylen Waddle and Rondale Moore who are also both game-breakers

Well... our fan base has been wrong before.   I was exceedingly happy when they signed him.  Much better option than Byrd.

Carr was good before Gruden. Raiders had a ton of hype before he broke his leg. Mayock I think plays a big role in Carr bouncing back

I think he was somewhere in between the two. It’s not great that you give up on your 14th overall pick after his rookie contract and switching positions to salvage what you can out of him. He also came here pretty cheap compared to what Byrd and Ward got.

Wentz could use one for sure

I think Wentz needs to watch from the sidelines for a few games. He's playing hero ball, not seeing the entire field, and not to mention his mechanics still blow. Doug should do what Reid did with McNabb but he won't and will continue to regress

Don't forget Devante Smith. Him and Chase are 1 and 2 imo

When was the last time the Eagles were on the receiving end of a positive ‘needed a change of scenery’ situation?

Brandon Brooks, Blount, Michael Bennett (beast in 18), Patrick Robinson

They were overrated... which time proved.   Jenkins was miscast as a CB but was a helluva S.   But, they thought they could do better.  Classic grass is always greener moment.

Best I’ve seen is Waddle imo but haven’t watched any of them a ton

Howie isn’t taking waddle or smith lol the best we can hope for is he is fired in January and the new guy takes one of them

Waddle is good but I think Smith is the better WR on Bama. Waddle has missed the last 2 games and could be out until the playoffs. If the Eagles didn't draft Reagor I would have been on that boat

Daniel Jeremiah

Actually I figured it out. The guy that needed a change of scenery that performed well while with us is currently losing snaps to Alshon Jeffery.

No way to do it on mobile?

Ya know what pisses me off more than anything?

It's the lack of discipline. Jumping offsides, pre snap penalites. Crap that the coach should have a handle on by now

Been a theme going back to the start of last season

Weaponized birth control.  No ones getting lucky after that.

There is.. but I don't use mobile much.  It's harder.

Use the 3 bars on the far upper right.  Then click "account"... "ignored users"... finally add the name of the user you want to ignore in the box... and presto-chango... they are no more.

Good news:

we're 4 days away from no longer having to hear "but the Eagles are still in first place!" anymore. With two NFC East teams playing on turkey day.

Yup. That's what signals 'coaching' as the primary issue.   There are other issues as well... but the biggest is coaching - as demonstrated by who is lining up each and every week.

I understand that people think Doug will get a longer rope because of the Super Bowl win and some people think Howie is untouchable — but with Wentz’s cap hit jumping to $32M starting next season, the offense HAS TO get sorted out going into next season.  Lurie will have to make a decision on who to hold accountable for this debacle — here’s a hint — it won’t be the QB with the guaranteed contract.

Curious what Doug will use as an excuse after that

NO ONE will be held accountable.

And therein lies the problem
