Frank Reich has the Colts 7-3 with a noodle-armed Philip Rivers and a bunch of injuries to his WRs.

True Genius of that 2017 season. Freakin Josh McDaniels...

Wentz will be in Indy next season and back to playing like his 2017 self under Reich.

I don’t know about that. I don’t know how you would make that trade work. It’s a $59 million dead money Hit on behalf of the eagles. I think there’s a better chance in 2022 that you could possibly do that. Even so it’s still 25 million in dead money. You would have to restructure that contract in order for him to get traded.

I do believe that the Colts are going to go all in for a quarterback cause frankly I think that team is just a good quarterback away from being the best team in the NFL. And I truly believe that. Their defense in my opinion is the best defense in the NFL. They have the best offensive line in the NFL. Their trio running backs is very good. They could use another big time wide receiver as TY Hilton is at the end but Pittman looks like a good prospect.

I would not be surprised if the Colts make a run after Sam Darnold. I believe Frank reich thinks he can win with him

It really hasn’t gotten progressively worse, it’s been what it is for majority of Doug’s tenure outside of 2017.  He’s had small stretches where it’s looked good in the other four seasons but the majority of the year they haven’t looked very good on offense.

I hear what you are saying, but the last two years they just look like trash. I thought last year was bad. This one is worse.

We’re gonna have to gut the team or make some painful restructures as is. I’d hate to see what we’d have to do to also make room to trade Wentz.

What a freaking mess.

Our record would be bad enough for 10th in the draft order (as long as we don’t stupidly win the division).

If we had the decency to lose like men against Cincinnati we’d be as high as third. As predicted, that tie will end up a disaster.

Frankly I think Washington is a better team than the Eagles right now. Their defense is good and i am not sure lane and kelce are going to be there at the end of the season for that game. Alex Smith might not be good but he’s good enough to be bad teams or give them a chance to be in the game. And hats off to Dallas because I thought they were gonna get smacked in that game. Andy Dalton surprisingly looked good and they figure some things out on offense. Granted I think a bye week was really helpful so I’m curious to see what they look like against Washington on a short week and then the following week at Baltimore.

I’ll say this if Dallas beats Washington next week then they are at four wins. They have the bengals two weeks later without Joe burrow so that should also be a win for the Dallas Cowboys.  The last two games of the season for Dallas are home vs. eagles and at giants. I do not think it’s impossible for Dallas to wind up winning seven games. Based off winning today and having the fortune of playing Washington, bengals without burrow, us and giants.

Let’s just lose out so we don’t have to worry about any of the nonsense. A top 5 pick would give us something to look forward to.

The sad thing is if we fire Howie, would we even attract a decent candidate? Our franchise QB is a mess. We have little young talent. Our salary cap is in shambles.

This is a bad job.

I think there’s a higher percentage chance that the Eagles lose out then they win the division. I don’t see them winning both the Washington game and the Dallas game.

I don’t think they’re gonna fire howie. I also don’t think doug is gonna get fired. But I do think 2021 is gonna be a very telling year with both of their futures. But I kind of am in agreement with banner not that I wouldn’t fire howor or doug but I don’t think they’re gonna do it.

I think it’s a bad job if you do not believe in Carson Wentz or in Jalen hurts. If you do then I think it’s a much better opportunity than what we would give it credit for even with the negatives. Now next year might be a disaster just because of the cap and what they’ve done. Granted if i am GM and I’m coming in Seeing what happen with this offense I want my own head coach that’s creative but I feel can work with making one of those to my franchise

If the Eagles finish with a top 5 draft pick, would Joe Douglas accept Wentz and our 2020 1st round pick for #1 overall?

T Lawrence the new face of our franchise?  You never know what Howie's cooking up.

The only reason to keep playing Wentz this year is to hope he somehow gets his mind right and plays better so you can actually trade him for some value.

Just out of curiosity why would the Jets want to trade away the pick for Trevor Lawrence who’s going to be on a rookie contract which means with the massive amount of cap space they have that they can add pieces around him. Add on for a quarterback who’s not played well and owed a ton of money.

Howie can't cook, dude.

I think people believe that because he was able to move up to get Carson Wentz that he would be able to do it again. I think the more we get away from the draft there was a lot of teams who weren’t overly thrilled with Jared Goff or Carson Wentz as prospects. Like too much risk to move up to get one and too much risk taking them in the positions that they were going to go. So for the Eagles it was much more doable to move up in the draft when you had two guys that a lot of teams might not have seen as potential franchise game changing quarterbacks. Trevor Lawrence imo is a much better prospect coming out of college than either wentz or Goff in that draft.

The difference is only pronounced right now because there has been only 10 games played and a bunch of 3-7 teams.  If the Eagles don’t beat any of SEA, GB, NO, or ARI they will be sitting at 3-10-1 .... certainly nowhere near 10th in the draft order.

ARI finished 5-10-1 last season and picked 8th; MIA was 5-11 along with the Chargers and CAR and they picked 5, 6, and 7.  The tie will cost at worst 3 draft positions.

DET finished 3-12-1 last season and picked 3rd, which is exactly where the Eagles will pick if they lose out.

The Eagles are not eating 34% of the entire organization’s 2021 salary cap in dead money. Wentz still has all of the physical tools he had in 2016 when he was drafted #2 overall and in 2017 when he played like an MVP.

He needs to be coached properly.  He needs a qualified QB coach and a qualified OC.  Doug is not Andy Reid nor Sean Payton.  At the moment Doug does not appear to even have a handle on being a good OC.

So we took Hurts with the second and you guys think we’re trying to get Lawrence ? O_o

The way things are shaping up, Carson Wentz is the next that just needs a change of scenery and will do better better off with a fresh start.

This teams runs the sloppiest screen plays I've ever seen.

So we’ve become the Philadelphia Adam Gases

This team may have the worst OLine in football.  JP was owned yesterday.  Lane is hurt again.  Pryor is horrible. Kelce is injured.  Meh.  You just don't see the pocket getting collapsed like this when watching other teams.

Re-watching the game right now, was only able to catch parts of it earlier. I was about to post this too. This OL is very bad.

Dillard and Brooks were huge, huge losses before the season even started.  Not saying Dillard would have been a Pro Bowl player, but the sequence of events in trying to replace him has been a comedy of errors and wasted money

Peters was the worst.  He whiffed or was carried to the QB over and over again.  The Eagles didn't want him and now we see why.

Both Peters and Jeffery should land on long term IR tomorrow.  They provide nothing of value and stand in the way of developing younger players.  Of course they won’t IR Peters because of all the OL injuries, but I keep wondering how bad Cordy Glenn’s workout must have been that they immediately decided to give Peters a raise afterward.

Definitely a misstep by Stoutland if he was on board with that decision.
