I call BS on the second tweet. How many times did we run in the second half?

6 runs. So either he wasn’t going to call a run play the entire second half or he’s full of crap. I am willing to bet at least half our run plays in the second half were called runs from the start.

Eyes now turn to Jeff Lurie. His organization is spiraling out of control and he needs to get control over it and step in. This is ridiculous.

So Doug is going down with the ship

God speed, Pederson.  Thanks for 2017, its been real

Fairly easy.  1 is better than the other.

I hate broccoli, but if i was starving on my death bed, I'd love it

Again, I get it. And if I had to eat it I would. But, I’d much rather have a plate of ribs.

He may have checked from run to pass a few times too.

2021 is the year to rip the bandaid off.

Also, shedding all contracts is bad. You need some veterans on the team. I'm 100% ok with young players see how Brandon Graham/Jason Kelce/Rodney McLeod prepare and practices. The rest? They can leave.

They need vets...even when rebuilding.  But the key, when rebuilding, is to not have expensive vets.  Actually, not even that.  They can be expensive, they just need to be flexible...as in, no $10m+ cap hits just to cut or trade them in a year.

McLeod's deal is fine, same with Kelce, who is year to year.

Blaming the pandemic in week 12. Yikes.

Yeah. Good thing the undefeated Steelers didn't have to deal with the pandemic and injuries...Doug is saying more stupid than usual things now.

so lets say he checked out of 4 runs(I doubt it was that many) and checked into 2 runs. Thats still 6 called runs in the 2nd half, during a rain storm when you were on pace to have 200+ yards rushing.

I’m not defending Doug. Just pointing out that the checks go both ways.

Exactly.  Some folks around here seem to have issues with tunnel vision.

Doug, just take ownership. You’re making it worse.

Doug admits he wants Alshon on the Field more

Dude... that wasn't even the real head scratcher on the topic. He said the reason why he wants more Alshon is because "he was a big part of our Super Bowl success" or something real close to that quote.

That right there is instant termination material.

Playing Hurts with this shitshow of offensive playcalling will do nothing but stunt his development.

Doubtful.

I'm starting to hate this team like I hated the 2018-2019 flyers in hakstol's last year. The team can't do anything right from top to bottom. Coaching sucked, players sucked, FO made excuses. Real coaching fixed the flyers, I don't think it will fix the eagles. They don't have enough talent.

Sorry but Doug is part of the issue and not a solution at this point. On a side note I have to wonder what happens in meetings when they are breaking down film. Do the coaches actually talk to these players about how they are playing? Is there ever any danger of the coaches saying "you know what player x this play is unacceptable and you are not going to start next week"? I mean the whole damn team every week at almost every position conspires to do just enough bad stuff to lose us games. Carson double clutches on open receivers, fumbles and throws picks, Sanders fumbles during a very promising drive, Alshon won't try and high point a ball, ward doesn't sit down in a zone and every week screws up a decision on a punt return, oline misses blocks. Cornerbacks can't cover. About the only part of this team that plays well is the d line but they constantly jump off sides.

how no one was in carsons face after that safety is baffling, if there was ever a time to yell at your QB that was it and they dont even do it then.

I’ve never felt This gif more than with the eagles right now and who’s at fault

I think the best you could hope for this season would be a McRib.

Doug said he needs to get Alshon in the game more, lol

I'm in disbelief. I don't know what he has seen from Alshon that makes him think he belongs on the field at all, let alone having him more involved in the game plan. This is borderline negligence.

Nothing wrong with this playcall:

Wentz can not read or hit on a simple throw.

For those who said he couldn’t be worse than Gerry...

Your 3rd round pick gentleman.  Not to be outdone by our 2nd round pick playing 1 snap.

Clearly that jump at the end of the game was mighty impressive.

Howie Hubris must go!

Eagles play book

1st Play..........Run

2nd Play.........Run

3rd Play..........Run

Rest of game PASS!!!!!!!!!!!

Even the broadcasters mentioned it. It's amazing how he just goes away from the run

You guys don't seem to get it.  It's simple.  If it's every reason other than Wentz, it will be obvious if Hurts starts and the offense looks the same.  Simple.

Quote who said it's everyone but Wentz

Doug announces Peters remains the starting LT.

This team right now can’t do anything right. Even the smallest decisions. They’ve become an abomination in every regard. They’re so full of themselves it’s embarrassing.

Ok. I'm officially on the Doug needs to go train

Yup. Doug needs to be fired. Lurie needs to fire everyone.

As Mike said it looks like Doug is going down with the ship. Thanks for 2017 but we need someone else
