So did the concussion destroy Wentz? B/c for all this talk about injuries, he finished last season on a roll, running an efficient short passing game with no NFL caliber WRs.

I think the problem is the combination of a shaky OL and bad schemes/play calling by Doug, and Wentz has lost his mojo, but there's no fundamental issue here. Doug is trying to make Wentz into Foles  with the RPO, but Wentz doesn't fit that scheme well, round peg/square hole.

Now Wentz is slowing down a little, but he still has size, IQ, a big arm - everything needed to be a top NFL QB.

If Doug can't turn this around, and I mean turn it around, not squeeze out 6 wins and take an incredibly weak division, time to move on.

More on the coaching / scheme problem front.

Doug is the problem

Is it coming from Howie to play him though because he paid him an extra 3 million to go to LT.

So much disfunction in this organization that Lurie needs to take a hard look at everything

It’s time to move on

I simply don’t believe the GM tells the coaches who plays where on game day.

Doug is a big boy; tell Howie the extra cash given to Peters is now a sunk cost, and move Peters to RG or off the active roster.  Mailata moves to LT and move forward

Ok So that’s Darby, Sidney Jones, Rasul Douglas, Agholor, LJ Fort, Jordan Poyer, Jordan Hicks all thriving on their new teams

🙂

He absolutely said and meant the first one about JP.

The second one I think was just coach speak. Someone asked the hilarious question of "Why is Alshon Jeffery even on this team?" which definitely took him by surprise. Then he went into coach mode and said he needs to do a better job of getting Alshon involved more, and he also has to do a better job of getting Fulgham involved more, and Hightower involved more.

So, Wentz will be throwing 60 passes against SEA?  I mean it’s hard to argue with him that he should try to get Hightower involved more — the guy got ONE snap

I know the team has been leaning on JJAW a lot, though.

What else does it take for Lurie to see the issues here?

Don't forget Jordan Hicks.  Not that he was bad here.

That’s weird. He’s like bottom 5 in yards per target.

Jordan Hicks thrived here.  His biggest problem was injury. When he was healthy he was a borderline Pro Bowler here, but never got over the hump due to the number of games missed.

Was reports earlier this year that was happening. True or not was smoke

Yup. Drives me nuts. Let him run away from defenders horizontally.

I don’t think Doug knows what a crossing route is. If it’s not vertical or curl it doesn’t belong in his playbook.

Ward must look like Jerry Rice during practice

Seems like we rarely throw slants and crossers and overs. Reagor would be good at those.

SEA 30, Eagles 20

Russell Wilson will do what Russell Wilson does.  The good news is the Chickens’ defense is so bad, the Eagles will get to 20 points.  They might even have the lead for the first time in three games.

Yes. This!!! I don’t get it whatsoever. It’s the best way to utilize his speed and skill set. Yet we don’t do that or jet sweeps or motion handoffs.

I think the crazy has rubbed off on Stoutland.

Pretty sure Stout doesn't have the final say about who plays.

Hell, maybe Doug doesn't either.

I forgot about Arthur Smith.

Surprised joe Brady isn’t up there. Done a great job this year considering he has bridgewater as his QB and mccaffrey has missed all but 3 games.

No top coaching candidate will come here and hitch his wagon to Carson Wentz.  Will not happen.  If we fire Doug, we'll be scrounging the depths of the candidate pool.

Completely untrue. Gruden had teams lining up to bring him in every year and  chose the raiders with Derek Carr out of all the teams.

Joe Brady and Pete Carmichael would be the top of the HC list.  In a dream world one of them would bring in Brandon Streeter or Tony Elliott to be the OC.  Kris Richard would still be my choice as DC
