He's hurt

So he would fit in.

But we haven't signed him yet.  How did that happen?

What’s his injury?

Something with a hamstring. When he was cut he was waived/injured and I believe reverted to IR

Makes sense. Would’ve been nice to see stoutland be able to work with him. Feels like the cardinals are going to wind up just having out of the league in 2 years

Normally, a Bengals/Browns night game doesn't sound very good, but I'm actually excited about tonight's game. Looking forward to seeing Baker Mayfield and Joe Burrow.

Also wonder if this game could have any bearing on their decision to trade OBJ if they’re getting to the end of their rope. Definitely not dying to have him here, though I’d be willing to try, but definitely a list of places I DONT want him. With Dallas at the top.

Interesting. I'd be fine with him in Dallas. He's a distraction, heavy cap number, cost them draft resources and completely unnecessary there.

Good. Get him off NFLN.

You’re in a small club there.

I said going into that draft I thought Mayfield would be the best pro of those first round QB.  Unfortunately I didn’t see him going #1 to the Browns when I said that.

yup

Deion already left NFLN this year. He recently joined Barstool Sports.

Baker hasn't been good for sure. I haven't seen a ton of his games since his rookie year, so I'm excited to him play.

Also, has there ever been a player as talented as OBJ to not produce for like 3 years in a row? Insane.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Why do we have to always lead the league in dumb ish like this?

If we don't have the oldest roster, now we have the smallest.

Fast ballz

One thing I will criticize Howie with that I haven't seen mentioned is he tends to over correct himself. He needs to find more of a nuance.

Probably a combination of a few things:

— becoming a diva couldn’t have been good for his relationship with Manning, who was basically a lunch-pail guy
— it took him some time to recover from injuries and might just now be getting to full health

— opposing DBs know how to get into his head because he’s such an immature person and gets thrown off his game

— as he’s gotten rich, being a distraction seems just as important to him as improving his game

It's the NFL's 100th birthday today, founded on this day in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association. Coincidentally, this is the same day that our nation's founders signed the U.S. Constitution at Independence Hall in 1787.

Jones. Douglas. Pumphrey. Miller. Thornton. Hollies. Gibson. Qualls. Smallwood. Countess. McCalister. Walker. None of them worked out.

For F sake, 2, 3, 4, very bottom 4, 5, 4, 5, 6, 5, 6, 7, 7.  So we missed on a gamble in the second on a player that looked like a first in college but slid due to an injury.  I would argue that Douglas performed well enough for a poor fit CB in the third.  Helped win a Super Bowl.  Smallwood performed well for a fifth rounder. Both exceeded the expectations for an NFL later player. Are you complaining that the Eagles cut Walker and Countess loose, because they are still in the NFL?

33% hit rate in rounds 4-5, 15% hit rate in rounds 6-7.   Heck first round hit rate is around 58%.  Hit rate for a round 2 DB is 46%. By your expectations, Ted Williams was a flop as a hitter because he only got a hit a third of the time.

Four players The Eagles cut at the cutdown are on other teams rosters.
