Right it’s not like we’re questioning why they won’t pull JP for Mailata permanently without knowing how Mailata plays. In his limited action he’s been a pro bowler compared to JP. It really is a head scratcher

No it isn't. He's been arguably the worst QB in football, his previous seasons don't matter, not sure why you're using stats from those seasons. He's not the same player.

They need to see what they have in Hurts for the future of the organization.

What even is this? Since the Superbowl he's like 17-20-1 or something, also Peyton Mannings historic stats are literally all time, but it doesn't mean I want Howie to try and talk him out of retirement now, Wentz is playing bad right now,  and I mean his numbers are really like top 5 worst seasons for an Eagles QB, we can't put a tape in of his previous years and stick that under c center 

Also can some of you stop pretending benching Wentz is some 'way out there' crazy idea that only gets brought up on this board by cranks, if you took a straw poll of reporters and commentators, I bet a large amount of money that you'd get a solid majority that say he should probably sit a while for his own good if nothing else, benching Wentz is not an odd or unreasonable position to have.

I think no on Ryan.  He runs a 3-4 which would mean a switch for which we don't have the personnel.

Rex ran a 4-3 scheme in Balt as well. He kept swapping back and forth based off the personal he had. He knows both

On a side note, we dont have the personal for any scheme right now so I dont think it would matter which one he decided to go with. lol

Yeah, turkeys will eat just about anything they find.

When i was in HS i worked on a turkey farm in the summers. They fed the birds fish meal and only switched to grain for about a month before they were butchered to get the fish taste out of them.

If you look at Mailata a couple weeks ago, he looks far more aware of what's going on, I think being able to sit and watch, but also being paired with Seumalo, made a big difference.

Rex Ryan hasn’t been a D coordinator in almost 20 years or even a coach at all for 5. He’s not going to leave his TV gig to be a D coordinator with Nate Gerry as his center piece

I don't think sitting and watching helped. I think it was just more reps on the field

As you well know I'm not on the Wentz train. But for someone to say that previous years don't matter is pretty ridiculous. Previous years have shown what Wentz is capable of. 

Can he get back to that level? Who knows. He may well be too broken at this point. But if the organisation are going to stick with him then they do that on the belief that he can turn it around. 

I have my doubts but hey it's up to me (thank god I know) and we all know what Wentz is capable of. We've seen it.

All the McNabb lovers who think I'm a hater have to know, I SOURED on him, Big difference from hating. 1999, which until this year, was the worst QBing I ever saw our head coach accept, knowing we had a talented rookie on the bench, I hated that.

I'm really pissed that we're going to accept this level of QBing to affect or influence our rookie. It was wrong what Andy did to Donny and it's wrong what Doug is doing to Jalen on more than one level. So many of these fans want to just go down with the ship. I want to live to fight again. It's time to think about next year. Don't expect Doug to do it, because he won't be a part of next year.

Fire Doug this minute so we can bench Wentz. Give the offense to Duce. We might as well see what we have with him calling plays too until we figure out what we do for next season. What are we afraid of? He might run the ball too much? It's the one thing we do we.
