Yup.

It’s insane lol. I don’t remember a single person who wanted us to re-sign those three in March. but now when Agholor scores a TD or Jones intercepts the ball, fans act like Eagles screwed up by letting them go

Eagles could (hypothetically) trade Wentz, which seems something like most people on this board want right now, he could rebound to a mvp level & everyone would start acting like they always knew it was a mistake.

Thank god we no longer have to hear this stupid team crow about how they're "sTiLL iN fIRsT pLaCE". Curious to hear the message after they get their ish pushed in by the Seahawks and they're in 3rd place.

you mean like drafting a jjaw, sidney jones or Jalen Hurts..  yeah what are the chances we acrew it up? lol

actually the chances are pretty good they do it again

They historically draft well in the top half of the draft.

I want Parsons if available. I wish Eagles would ignore their normal philosophy and take a LB in first round just this one time. It’d be super fun to see what an Uber talented LB could do behind the DL

If I’m the Eagles and Trevor Lawrence does declare I’m offering the Jets a swap with Carson Wentz for number 1 overall. Maybe add a third and keep number 8.

Something that really bothers me with Eagles fans is how there’s certain Eagle players that basically everyone wants gone (Jones, Douglas, Agholor, list goes on). Those players leave & start playing well for their new team,  then Eagles fans start acting like it was a mistake in first place for letting them go. I know coaching could be better& developing guys as well, but sometimes guys just do better with a change of scenery.

It's not always the same fans. That said, even if I as a fan want a player gone and suddenly he starts playing better elsewhere what am I supposed to think? Now what if it's several players while you watch your team stink up the field?

Watching the Cowpies lose is almost as much fun as watching an Eagles win

Alex Smith makes the Redskins a pretty good football team.

Especially when they lose on Thanksgiving. Something about them losing on Thanksgiving makes it sweeter than other losses.

Yup, looks like they will probably win the division.

Week 12 rooting guide

- Giants over Bengals (Main-event)
- Patriots over Cardinals
- Chargers over Bills
- Falcons over Raiders
- Browns over Jaguars (can't let Dallas get a top 2 pick)
- Broncos over Saints
- 49ers over Rams

It'll still be a fun Sunday

I don’t recall a single person saying we should have kept Agholor. Pointing out that he’s playing well is not the same thing.

This has more to do with the coaches.  They are trying to fit the player into their system of plays, instead of design plays to use the players' skills.  This approach will have a high failure percentage.  This also points to the issues on player evaluation.  They see the plays in college and all the flashy skill measurements.  Fall in love and pick those shinny objects, only to find out they don't work as well in the system.

All they need to do is lose all upcoming games besides Dallas (who might be the worst team in the nfl), and they’ll be playing for the division title in week 17.  The coaching staff will use that as reason to forge ahead with no changes all season long.

And why would the Jets want to do that?   Is Chip Kelly their GM?

Yeah I don’t mind the 8th pick. Let’s stop here. Let them have it.

I just have a feeling the Eagles are going to pull some wins out of their butt just enough to lose a top pick and be back in the late teens.

Not necessarily. A Giants win over the Bengals this weekend, means there's a possibility we could be eliminated before we play Dallas. It would require either the Giants/Washington going 2-1 and us going 0-4 including Seattle. I do feel pretty confident about us going 0-4 in this stretch, with the easiest game to win being against Arizona.

The Giants path to 6-10 is pretty clear (wins against Cinci, Browns or Arizona, Dallas).

I was thinking about that the other day. For being first receiver drafted he hasn’t lived up to the hype yet at all

Rookie wrs rarely produce big numbers

its a tough position to transition from college

So... Carson Wentz has regressed, has excuses made for him all the time, but now he's worth the #1 overall pick?  Please find a consistent point of view and stick with that one.

Sorry guys I just can't root to lose. Not in my dna. Ill be rooting for a win Monday (not that we will or even that it matters what I do)

I 100% get this. It's hard.

It's easier to process as long it's guys like NRC, Matt Pryor, TJ Edwards, Greg Ward, etc. causing us to lose.

I'm not rooting for us to lose so much as I just don't care, the season is just playing out now, there's no suspense or excitement, it's like fulfilling contractual obligations to complete the season.

I think I said in the gameday thread, I can stand to watch us lose, it's watching us lose playing such godawful football I can't abide, we're losing and we're crap to watch.
