I wouldn't say we are all wanting to lose, but we can't deny winning only hurts us this year. We are clearly not good enough to win a SB and if you think that then you are blind.

I don't want us to lose but losing can bring us change. It can get maybe a new coaching staff, new GM really high draft pick.

We could really turn it around in 1 year with good changes but, that starts with us losing and not winning and bouncing out in the first round. Cus if we win this div we will have no real change and a 19th at best pick in draft.

I think some fans are struggling to understand that. Look every game I want us to win and I'm sure pretty much every fan thinks the same. But at this point there's no denying that winning does hurt this team because whoever wins the NFC East is going to be one and done in the play offs.

If I’m the Eagles and Trevor Lawrence does declare I’m offering the Jets a swap with Carson Wentz for number 1 overall. Maybe add a third and keep number 8.

and then you’ll hear 5 minutes of laughing and a phone click

The collective value of our entire roster wouldn’t get you a top 5 pick in this draft, let alone #1.

Now bench Alshon

They literally wasted snaps on JJAW lol Alshon isn't going anywhere until he's injured again

Whoever is in charge of who goes onto the field needs replacing as well

Thankfully we caved and gave Jason peters more money to go play LT and now we are moving him back to RG

We never want our team to lose it hurts a lot but in 2 months from now when we have the 19th pick because we were bounced out in 1st round you will see these same people saying we should have lost more.

That is the reality we have right now, it is a paradox honestly. Losing makes us winners.

Only about 3 weeks too late.   Oh well.  Now we get to see how Pryor plays at LT.

You spelled 'cut' wrong.

Cut them both.

Pryor?  Mailata you mean?

Nah.  See, you are thinking logically.  I am thinking like the Eagles.  Moving Peters to RG frees up Pryor to go to LT.

Good. He's a liability at LT right now, hopefully he'll fit better at RG.

True....the other part of the equation is Lane Johnson and his deteriorating shoulder.  Is Driscoll the RT if/when he goes down again?

I hope so.  Driscoll has been solid, if not spectacular.

I've been curious who it was that put him there. How could Stoutland want Peters at LT? If Howie or Doug demanded it then how come we haven't heard anything about it since things seem to leak to the media.

Alshon hasn't gotten around to leaking it yet

Rational decision making. It’s time to play all the youngsters because next year will be a full year down. Gotta see what we have.

Finally some good news. We still have some stuffing left over.

That’s good news about Peters too.

I think Stoutland is a good soldier, but the money they gave to Peters specifically to play at LT, I think forced them.  Howie likely made it a priority, so Doug caved, Stoutland likely argued it (though he has been a Jason Peters fan-boy since before he came here), and decided not to make any waves.

Sorry guys I just can't root to lose. Not in my dna. Ill be rooting for a win Monday (not that we will or even that it matters what I do)

I don’t actually actively root for us to lose during the game, but I know in the back of my mind that it’s for the best, so when the game is over the loss doesn’t bother me as nearly as much as having to sit through gross football.

Winning while getting good performances from some young players, like Mailata, Reagor, Fulgham, Goedert, Driscoll, Seumalo, Sanders, and Wentz, I can be happy about, both in the moment, and when reflecting on it later.    Winning while getting passable (at best) performances from Peters and Alshon makes me sick. Both in the moment, and in the long run.   Peters, I will forgive eventually for extorting the team, especially when everyone knew his prime was LONG past him at LT and they didn't have the cap space in the first place... but Alshon needs to be gone.  Thanks for 2017, Alshon, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Looking back now how many would have preferred to not win the division and have had Lamb fall into our laps?
