Not sure what andy reid is doing. 2nd and goal from half yard line runs a double reverse pass with kelce throwing it. And then a rollout with mahomes that was obvious from the start. Just give bell or CEH the ball to run. It was literally inches away. Then he kicks a fg on 4th

Yeah was a couple of odd decisions there. Did he really need to go trick play so early? And to take the ball out of Mahomes hands there? Very strange.

Not only that why not just go for on fourth down from literally the half yard line. If you don’t get in Tom Brady and the bucs have to go 99 1/2 yards for a touchdown

Yeah I was surprised by that. Mahomes clearly wanted to go for it.

The conundrum Lurie has is if Doug is let go, some HC candidates could be unhappy with an overly powerful GM over them dictating what to have for breakfast.  Or if Howie has the power,  can he be trusted to hire the right candidate or the most complliant?

The roster structure, cap position and scheme are all as bad.  I've come to the conclusion, that for the long term, the Eagles organization needs a clean out in certain areas otherwise the same issue will rear its head again.  It's a need a series of fresh perspectives to update itself, rather than acting like it

Agreed. Howie can be the biggest deterrent in a new coaching search. Nothing changes until he is gone.

Cardinals are the Raiders of the NFC; two teams that commentators think are a lot better than they actually are

My bigger issue with the Cardinals is you have DeAndre Hopkins and yet he is only getting like 7 to targets a game lately. Over the past 4 weeks he’s had 30 targeted which is another 7.5 per game. He is your best player you need to get him the ball. Even when he doesn’t catch it, he usually gets you a pass interference. Yet Kirk has 7 targets per game over the last 4 games. When you’re targeting Christian Kirk who is a nice receiver as much as the best wide receiver in the league you might need to adjust your offense

I’m low key rooting for NFC East teams because I don’t want to see a 5 or 6 win in the playoffs.

Not that I want a 5 or 6 win team in the playoffs, but I want any of the other 3 to take the division this year.

Really nice to see Kyle shanahan get the ball into his best playmakers hands in deebo mule. Already a jet sweep called and easy route concepts to get him involved in the passing game.

Good thing we didn’t draft Jeremy Chinn, yeah, that guy blows

QB Factory FTW!

Ok here’s my not extremely well though out strategy for turning this team around in the offseason:

1: Fire Howie

2: Replace Schwartz with an aggressive/attacking minded DC

3: Force Doug to hire an OC and give up play calling

4:  Test the trade market for Wentz  if someone is willing to give up a 1st take it, anything less try to rehab his confidence and career.  If Wentz can’t be traded, trade Hurts

5: OLine depth through FA and the draft.

6: If JaMarr Chase is on the board when we’re drafting, take him. If not DB or pass rush

Doug has made the playoffs every year except his first year and won a SB. So shitcanning him after this season would be in bad taste. What would that say to any HC candidate they try to bring in to replace DP? So you have to roll with Doug at least one more season, and if we miss the playoffs again next season, then it’s time to talk about firing him. But he needs the offense and play calling taken from him. I still have some hope for Wentz, especially if his supporting cast is better, but this regression is shocking and inexcusable.

If Sewell is still there at 5 do you draft him?

Howie has to be fired

Tyreek Hill is on pace for 28 receptions, 800 yds, and 8 TDs in a single game.

Hinton looks really good at QB for Denver. He’s outplaying Taysom Hill.

Imagine if he even just got to 400 yards! I mean he very likely won't be Imagine.

I did wonder if this was the first game in NFL history with both sides not having a starting QB in place.

I just looked it up... the single game record for receiving yards is 336 by Flipper Anderson(?) and Megatron came close in 2013. Seems very doable if this doesnt turn into a blowout.

I don’t think Tampa is the most complete team in Florida.

Fing with Bruce Arians and Brady.

Reid can mess up as much as he wants. His offense is stacked and will score no matter who is coaching. Anthony Lynn can coach the Chiefs right now and do great.

Eagles could have the 4th or 5th pick if they lose out, which they need to.

If I can get that OT from Orgegon I stay put, but it seems like he's a top 3 guy. Therefore trade back at least once, say to around 7 or 8, then possibly again to around 12. This team needs sooo much it's nauseating. Picking top fifteen with more quality ammo is the way I would go.

In other news... I stopped into the local grocery store, and they had fresh turkeys on sale for $0.49/lb.  So, I left the other one in the freezer... and smoked a turkey for the first time.  Spatchcocked, smoked... and it turned out amazing.  The wife made the gravy, as my gravy was not good... she fixed it, and man... so amazing!!!

This is what happens when you go elsewhere for Thanksgiving... no turkey leftovers.  So, we had one breast tonight.  I am freezing the other to sous vide later for leftovers.   I cubed up the dark meat to make a turkey pot pie tomorrow night.  And I took the leftover white meat off the carcass and the wing meat to make some turkey tortellini soup, likely for Tuesday.  (I'll be freezing the leftover pot pie.)   And we will likely have the leftover turkey next week... which means two meals are basically done.

It has been a very relaxing and rewarding Sunday... and no Eagles' game to ruin it.

i'd keep howie but make him hire a assistant GM to run the draft and talent evaluation

fire all coaches and hire arthur smith titans OC he runs a balanced offense and puts his players in position to win.

i'd keep hurts since he's not costing alot for a backup and nate is a FA

get healthy and draft BPA in the first , most likely DE , CB or OL

trade ertz for a 2nd and maybe later pick if possible

nice if your going to cook it in the near future

I dont really get the whole "buy a turkey when they go on sale and put i The freezer until next thanksgiving” thing.  Thing takes up 1/2 the damn freezer.
