i'd keep howie but make him hire a assistant GM to run the draft and talent evaluation

fire all coaches and hire arthur smith titans OC he runs a balanced offense and puts his players in position to win.

i'd keep hurts since he's not costing alot for a backup and nate is a FA

get healthy and draft BPA in the first , most likely DE , CB or OL

trade ertz for a 2nd and maybe later pick if possible

What would Howie be doing in this scenario?

You put too much faith in him that he can fix the mess he created

In other news... I stopped into the local grocery store, and they had fresh turkeys on sale for $0.49/lb.  So, I left the other one in the freezer... and smoked a turkey for the first time.  Spatchcocked, smoked... and it turned out amazing.  The wife made the gravy, as my gravy was not good... she fixed it, and man... so amazing!!!

This is what happens when you go elsewhere for Thanksgiving... no turkey leftovers.  So, we had one breast tonight.  I am freezing the other to sous vide later for leftovers.   I cubed up the dark meat to make a turkey pot pie tomorrow night.  And I took the leftover white meat off the carcass and the wing meat to make some turkey tortellini soup, likely for Tuesday.  (I'll be freezing the leftover pot pie.)   And we will likely have the leftover turkey next week... which means two meals are basically done.

It has been a very relaxing and rewarding Sunday... and no Eagles' game to ruin it.

Yup.    To go back 2 weeks ago.  We were sorry as f but we led the division and had the giants and browns to play while getting starters back from injury.  2 wins and we pretty much would have clinched it.  And we f’d it off

we suck something awful and people should have been benched or fired during this week.  Because the season is over for us

nice if your going to cook it in the near future

I dont really get the whole "buy a turkey when they go on sale and put i The freezer until next thanksgiving” thing.  Thing takes up 1/2 the damn freezer.

I will likely cook the other turkey in about 2 weeks.  3 at the most.   I love cooking turkey.  I love cooking just about any kind of meat.   And if I can get one turkey for free, and another for a total of $7, then I will jump at it.  I was thinking about smoking a turkey since I got the smoker.  And I got a chance to do it and a free Sunday to get it done.

he's best suited for numbers not talent , IMO he can fix it

The job of a GM is personnel.  Recognize talent and acquire it for good value.

If you can do that and don’t understand contracts, then hire an assistant GM to figure that out.

If you are a cap/contract guy who can’t draft, then you shouldn’t be a GM.

Nice, that sounds awesome and delicious. Glad to hear you’re having a good one over there, and I like the idea of turkey tortellini soup. Smoked turkey is amazing. I went to one set of parents for dinner, and they smoked theirs. I was surprised at how juicy it was, I was fully expecting a dry turkey.

With our leftover turkey, I went for some some comfort food & made a turkey noodle soup from scratch. Celery, carrots, potatoes, onions, boiled the turkey carcass for my broth, homemade egg noodles. First meal I’ve made in awhile where I didn’t have to go to the store for a single ingredient. Didnt cost us a dime, was relatively healthy, and fairly easy to cook. Was a hit with my family.

I just looked it up... the single game record for receiving yards is 336 by Flipper Anderson(?) and Megatron came close in 2013. Seems very doable if this doesnt turn into a blowout.

I'm not sure he's going to do it. Second quarter has been a lot slower for Hill.

Just saw on twitter that Caldwell in Jacksonville has been fired. It was expected so no surprise from me here.

I know people who keep them in their freezer all year for next thanksgiving thinking their smart.  And have to carefully fit all the food they actually use around the turkey.  And dont have ice cream because no room.   Lol

On the last drive when he fumbled too.  And on the pick to sherman too.  Two pees in a pod.

Goff is not a top QB. He's middle of the road at best.

Careful on the type and amount of wood when smoking a bird. Poultry is way more delicate, almost like fish, and will absorb the smoke like crazy.

Nah... that's crazy.  I get a free turkey every year due to the grocery store promotion.  But, I was in the store, looking for something delicious (wife wanted to stop in after church... so I mozied on over to the meat case).  And... the turkey just spoke to me.   And now that I smoked one turkey... well, I'll need to top that with the next one.   Just hoping for another mild weekend to get it done.  If not, I might have to cook it the old fashioned way... in the oven.  But, that's not nearly as much fun!

I gotta tell ya... buying this smoker was a great decision.  I can even crank the heat up and do pizzas on the pizza stone I got for it.  And smoking chicken wings is way better than oven cooked.  The added smokey flavor makes it better than most takeout wings... but I am biased.

I used the 'competition blend' from Pit Boss.  It didn't overwhelm the bird at all.

He’s done a terrible job with the numbers the past couple years.

don't disagree

Have any players who tested positive experienced more than mild symptoms? Until someone gets real sick, they’ll keep playing. Also wouldn’t be shocked that come playoff time they lessen the criteria it takes to be kept out of a game. No more close contact BS

I truly forgot just how good deebo Samuel is because he’s been hurt much of the year. But man the eagles need to watch what shanahan does with him and implement some of that with Reagor.

He's certainly not a full time starter in the NFL.
