Patrick Mahomes is incredible. Hats off to Andy for trading up for that kid and developing him like he has.

If the Eagles decide to not start Wentz next season, Kendall Hinton has moved to the top of the list of QBs I'd pursue if I'm the Eagles. Him and Trace McSorley.

Another hot take I took flack for.

Shannahan coaches circles around Doug and SF ends up with more wins than the Eagles

I mean still wrong on odell and still wrong on Claypool being a jag. So if you throw enough hot takes out there you are bound to hit on one. Also i never said shanahan or mcvay weren’t great coaches. Frankly i think shanahan is one of the best in the league. Ive been a proponent that mcvay is hurt by Goff not being anything more than a solid QB that is limited

My mom, dad, and sister all tested positive on the same day. All are living together. My mom and dad got sick initially with flu like symptoms and my sister just felt kinda weird so she went along for a test with them. This was mid-october.

My dad had aches, a fever, and a cough. Lost taste and smell. And beat it in about a week other than a residual cough.

My sister never really became symptomatic. Just described different weird sensations. But never had fever, coughing, or any of that stuff.

My mom had a high fever for like 5 days and counting, and a bad cough. I brought her my pulse oximeter and we found her O2 was at 88. She went to the hospital and was admitted. Ended up getting worse there for a couple days. Cytokine storm. Remdesivir and dexamethasone, prone lying, the whole 9 yards. They discharged her after a week. She is still on oxygen at home. Still coughs. Still winded with little activity. Heart races with any activity, had to start on a beta blocker to try to control that but it still easily goes over 100bpm. Supposedly has a leaky trivispid valve that they are hoping heals that they attributed to the COVID. Has ground glass opacity in the lungs. Doctor told her she may never fully recover. He already told her she is not allowed to return to work until next year. My dad is not allowed to work either, as her caretaker they can not risk her getting sick with anything else. And can not have any outside contact. So, Ive still not been able to visit them.

All 3 probably got it from the same place, or at least, caught it from each other. So it should all be the same strain. But affected each of them differently.  I dont really think different strains have anything to do with it.

Crazy. Hope your mom pulls through. I’m assuming she doesn’t have any underlying conditions that would make it worse. But that sucks. Very sorry.

My roommate tested positive a couple weeks ago but fortunately I never got it. My buddy and his pregnant wife got it. He is roughly 400lbs. They only had mild symptoms and he claims they could have worked no problem. But then I know a Navy Seal who was put on a ventilator. So crazy.

There’s too much money involved for the NFL to stop play. Hopefully no one gets really sick.

Yup... seems so.   Bryce Paup dives at Randall's knee... nothing happened.  Brady has the same hit on his knee, they change the rules for hitting QB's low.

Technically, wasn't it Kimo Von Olhaufen's hit on Carson Palmer that precipitated the rule?

I’m glad your friend was alright. But at 400 pounds you’re asking for trouble even without Covid.

Mediocre and bad are virtually the same thing when it comes to sports.

12th rated QB. Just outside of top ten is mediocre? Off of a major knee injury with a broken back?

You're approaching Shocker levels of stupidity, but one of you is serious. You're not a clown, you're the entire circus.

Why play semantics? He very obviously means "replaceable" or "average" by his use of "mediocre." Don't know why you don't understand that.

I don't know how anyone could have watched Wentz play in 2018 and thought he had an above average season. Poor pocket presence, fumbles, no mobility, absolutely zero game flow, no clutch plays, 5-6 record. The only positives were his QB rating, TD/INT ratio, and the excuse that he may or may not have been playing with a back injury all season.

Like I mentioned before, it's something personal with Aresenal and Wentz. Either race, or Wentz banged his girl. but theres something more there than football

Its really embarrassing.

Wentz was 1 in QBR in 2017. 12 in 2018. 11 last season.

Borderline top 10 QB is mediocre. Lmao. What a dope.

Let's ignore the fact that QBR as a whole is a comically incomplete stat. Aaron Rodgers was 13-3 last season with 26 TDs and 4 picks. His QBR was 52...4 points above what Wentz has THIS SEASON.

So maybe Wentz is just having a really bad season on a really bad team? Maybe he doesn't have it. Whichever is true we obviously will uncover.

This notion that he's always been crap aside from one season is silly.

Really sorry to hear that man. Hope your mom makes a full recovery!

I'm really lucky that my girlfriend and I are able to work from home. We're foreigners, so there's also no temptation to visit family etc. Since February we've only really left the house for shopping (when online shopping slots weren't available) and the occasional 2am walk when nobody is around. I feel bad that there's so many people who would love to perpetually self isolate like us but can't due to the nature of their job.

Said the Eagles wernt gonna finish .500

Said they werent going to win the divison

Said SF would have a better record

Said it was All REICH/Defilip years ago

Said the Steelers were gonna win the division

Said Cam sucks(took a ton for this)

OBJ gets thrown out because he missed 12? games

Claypool is a JAG.   31st in yards 44th in catches  48th in targets is about as JAG as you can get.  Take out the gang bang job he did on the Eagles and his numbers are worse than JAG

Do you want to cookie a lot of the things you said were things I also said. Congrats for stating some of the obvious most people could see.

Congrats i also said the eagles were a below .500, i also said the eagles wouldn’t win the division. I also said SF once they got healthier would be a better team (which they are with mostert and Samuel back), i also said the Steelers would win that division as they had Big Ben back and a bunch of weapons even before the emergence of claypool, also said ravens were frauds on offense, i also said cam was done 2 years ago.

and Odell Beckham has been injury proneover the last 4 years. So yes missing 12 games where he has been injury prone over the last 3 to 4 years would fall into the fact he’s not a top 10 receiver. And to point out he has yet now for 3 consecutive years to be top 10 or 15 in any receiving category

and a rookie who had 10 touchdowns as a rookie who didn’t even play significant snaps until a few weeks into the season isn’t a jag. when you are wrong can’t admit it. It’s comical Yep let’s just take away stats from guys. If that’s the case let’s just take away stats from everybody. But i guess 449 receiving yards and 5 tds as a rookie is JAG numbers without the eagles game. Lol. Even better if you took his stats away from the Eagles game he would still be the fifth most productive rookie wide receiver in this class and played one less game then most ahead of him.

Because look at his other posts. He wasn't saying Wentz was average. You are in denial if you think so.

He had a 70% completion percentage. His QBR (which isn't a great stat) had him as the 12th QB in the NFL. He had a great TD to INT ratio. He was coming off of a major injury.

I'm not arguing that he set the world on fire. I'm saying he wasn't a replacement level player or average at beat. Contrary to belief, a player doesn't have to be Dan Marino, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady to still be a good player. Top 10ish is pretty damn good.

If we had Wentz of 2018 this division is already won and he has a ticket stamped to the pro bowl.

Imagine spewing out "major knee injury" and "broken back" as if they are good things about a player.

He had one fluke season, just like Foles.  Aside from that he's mediocre to atrocious, injury prone, and plays brain dead hero ball.  And now he's led this team straight into the gutter after getting his massive new contract.

You're not the entire circus, you're the mark and the rube that the circus makes a fool of.

I can't speak for every post someone else has made, but from what I quoted his intention seemed clear.

Pro Bowl is just ridiculous. He'd have maybe 5 wins and still be limping this team toward purgatory. I give Wentz's 2018 QB stats slightly more credence than Jason Babin's 18 sack season. Gotta look beyond the easy stats to judge his performance.

That was because of CBS having the masters.

Imagine choosing the masters over football. Unless collinsworth is calling the game. In that case turn on the masters.

Wrong again moron.  But from this line of thinking, it's probably personal with *you* and Wentz.  Perhaps he bangs you in the ass after you finish washing his balls.  Why else would you defend his atrocious play?

You must be Carson's ex. I'm convinced. No one with a functioning brain could sit here and have such a blatant agenda and pass it off as reality.

I'm going to go ahead and refrain from this pointless banter with you moving forward. Go tend to the trapeze artists.

Few and far between were on my side with my thoughts, if at all.

And we're gonna disagree with the Claypool thing. Like you said yourself... kids not even getting significant snaps for the majority of the season and now he's on the verge of being a superstar.

That was because of CBS having the masters.

First I said he wasn’t getting significant snaps til a couple weeks in. His snaps have increased as the season has gone along.

second I never said he was a superstar. So don’t put words in my mouth that I didn’t say. I just don’t think he’s a jag. I think he’s a good young wide receiver who has good upside. I think he’s a young wide receiver who should get better with more experience and when juju Smith Schuster is not there next year see his targets go up. The fact of the matter is even without the Eagles game he still top five in receiving yards for a rookie wide receiver and would be second in tds. Greg Ward is a jag. That is the definition of a jag. Claypool actually has talent and upside and solid rookie numbers so far

Was it?  I thought it was called 'the Brady rule', after he was lost for the season on a hit like that in the preseason.

Truly hilarious.  The entire world knows that Carson Wentz doesn't have it.  But you and your fellow washers know better.

No one with a functioning brain would believe that a "franchise QB" could be this atrocious through ten games.

I dont know how you can sit there, with a straight face say 4000 yards, 27 touchdowns and 7INT's is a fluke, but sure man

Nick Foles had a 119.2 passer rating with 27 TDs and 2 INTs in a season.  What would you call that?

Just now, Bacarty2 said:

Actually, the Entire FOOTBALL world acknowledges that somethings up with Wentz but the majority blame Doug and his 2018 passing scheme and 2 year old play calling

No, only the majority of Wentz washers on this board like you.
