I'd do all of that as soon as possible.  I'd also get rid of McLeod but I don't think there's any getting out from that contract.  Trading Ertz will help too.

I'd like to see at the very least, a 4th round pick to make up for the Avery trade and an additional 3 picks brought in from trades.

Yeah, somehow I skipped Ertz in that list.  He'd save another $4.7M.

Funny feeling so meh about a game when a W puts you in 1st place in the division.  Can't ever say that's been the case before for me.

I have a feeling the team plays well tonight.

I initially thought the offense would play well-ish tonight and the defense would be bad, but after the Hurts news and more drama, I think the offense will be miserable like usual.

I think they're going for a more athletic OL.

I’d argue mcleod hasn’t exactly been good. He’s been about average. He just looks more competent cause nrc, maddox and mills aren’t competent starters

Yeah I think average is fair. Mills has been pretty poor.

I'm arguing that Slay has been fine so "this secondary" doesn't mean anything if they have him shadow DK all game.

And overall it has not been really bad. Situationally they are bad. But they still are 6th in the entire league in passing yards against.

And you really think Schwartz is going to have Slay shadow DK all night?

6th in passing yards with an offense that keeps giving the opposition good field position.

Maybe I missed it but surprised no Jordan Horward for this game. This would be the prefect game to have that bruiser back.

Baltimore players are threatening to not play this game against the Steelers, if it happens. Just give them a forfeit then.

In order for Staley's comments to be a shot at Doug, you have to believe there is someone on the team that Doug actually CAN trust to call plays.

Do we have that guy? I don't think so.

With that being said,  his comments then read as a shot at Scarangello and whatever other offensive geniuses we have who can't be trusted with the job.

Herbig was passed by Opeta, who is now on the IR... and is sitting behind a geriatric patient with a dislocated toe.  This team is so dysfunctional in terms of who plays and who sits.

Yeah, you have to be athletic to get out of the way of the pass rushers.

This is the eagles organizationally not having the balls to tell peters you are done and we are going with youth cause you are done.

Yup.  Dislocated toe... "Sorry, Jason.  You are going to IR.  Thanks for everything, here are your golden crutches."

This team is loyal to a fault for old players that should retire

Seems some fans are too.

I don't think he's dumb enough to put 5'8' corners on a guy whose 6'5". Last years pass defense was way worse than this year and they still held him to 35 yards in a game. I get it, DK this and DK that, but to suggest he's going to get 80 a quarter is just silly.

So... going with the 38 year old with a dislocated toe is more athletic than the 22 year old fat kid?    Come on...

Based on the personnel decisions they've made for the past 3 years, the game plans they've come up with, along with the play calling each game........does it surprise you that they would ignore a simple solution that would make sense for tonight?

They just don't want to play without Lamar Jackson... so they want to cause a fuss and a ruckus... and if the game gets completely called off, then the 8 team conference playoff bracket gets initiated, giving them a far better chance of making the playoffs.  If the season ended today, they'd be on the outside looking in... but they are #8 in the seeding if it went to that format.

I don't know the last player I've been less excited to watch than Avery.  Why is he even on this team?

The Broncos were forced to play with someone at QB with who sucked at that position while playing at Wake Forest...  Sod the Ravens.  If they had followed protocols correctly, they would not be in this situation would they?  No sympathy

Yes, they think Peters is better at getting to the second level than Herbig is.

I'm betting on my Eagles this game....wish me luck. Big under dogs pays well LETS GO !!!

GM traded a 4th for him. Sunk cost fallacy.

on a dislocated toe...

Peters will be out by halftime anyway

Mike garafolo was on nfl network doing a live report from the linc ahead of tonight’s game. He stressed that wentz isn’t being benched(according to people he’s spoken to)  but that how much we see of Jalen hurts is up to how wentz plays. We know hurts is going to see time but if wentz plays well in his time then hurts won’t see any more than is planned, but if wentz plays bad and doesn’t turn it around then hurts will see more time. So if wentz wants to play he needs to start playing better. So no more excuses it’s in his hands.
