Yikes...

The Broncos were forced to play with someone at QB with who sucked at that position while playing at Wake Forest...  Sod the Ravens.  If they had followed protocols correctly, they would not be in this situation would they?  No sympathy

It's the same as if it were any other injury.  I think the Ravens issues are from a strength and conditioning coach that wasn't wearing a mask.

Shouldn't it be the Steelers who are concerned?

He also said that Lurie is the one who pushed to draft Hurts and a lot of it had to do with missing out on Russell Wilson.

Mike garafolo was on nfl network doing a live report from the linc ahead of tonight’s game. He stressed that wentz isn’t being benched(according to people he’s spoken to)  but that how much we see of Jalen hurts is up to how wentz plays. We know hurts is going to see time but if wentz plays well in his time then hurts won’t see any more than is planned, but if wentz plays bad and doesn’t turn it around then hurts will see more time. So if wentz wants to play he needs to start playing better. So no more excuses it’s in his hands.

So basically we get to watch Wentz continue to flail around until his dramatic benching happens at some point tonight.  Cool.

The culmination of stupidity that began with the indefensible drafting of Jalen Hurts reaches its climax tonight.

It's hard to remember if this dramatic of a fall has occurred before with a team that won the SB just three years ago and has managed to slip into the playoffs in the two years since.  I can't think of a similar example.

Peters will be out by half way through the first drive.

But somehow, the Broncos were told to crack on and Ravens get the royal treatment...

I think they should have played yesterday but yeah.

When do Doug and Howie get called to account?

Did Lurie also say that if Peters puts on a performance like last Sunday his jersey should be taken and hidden at halftime so that he stops retrding the progress of younger players?

Baltimore has an outbreak, Denver did not. I agree that they should have pushed back the Denver game to tonight, but it's two different scenarios. Also, the NFL is making an example out of Denver because the other quarterbacks weren't wearing masks in the team meeting.

The Broncos were used as an example cause all the QBs came in on the day off, no masks and no social distancing. Pretty much the league said if you want to break our rules/protocol then suffer the consequences. There was no proof the Raves broke the rules or they would be forced to play as well.

I do too.

It's no different to football over here. Some teams have been told to crack on, other get games cancelled. No rhyme or reason

Broncos only had 1 player test positive. Ravens had way more across different position groups. Pretty big difference.

There's no way Lurie told them to draft any player. What likely happened was that the Eagles staff had a 1st/2nd round grade and Lurie told them not to pass on him if they thought he could be a starter. Lurie giving the green light to pull the trigger is not the same as a directive.

Players' only meeting and there's a leak... so they will put out what they want people to think.  This is about Lamar and playoff seeding.

Disagree on that. Ravens are having positive tests come back in consecutive days. I don't think they had a day in the past 5 or 6 with no new positives. That's the difference between them and Denver.

This is grandstanding to force the 8 team playoff.  Ravens are #8.

Will Miles get over 20 carries tonight ?

They make an example out of a bottom dwelling team and affect the NFC playoff picture.

The coach at the Ravens broke the rules.  The spread should concern the NFL as clearly something went wrong

I was just thinking...this sounds a lot more like Jerry Jones owns this team instead of Lurie.

Yup.   Lurie needs to stick to the board room and stay out of the war room and locker room.

They had video proof showing all the QBs for the Broncos talking and socializing with each other with no masks, so close they could have been in a circle jerk. It was clearly there fault. the coach today even admitted they made a mistake and this was the results for it.

To a point, but whether a player has it or is suspected, the endpoint is the same on game day.  They can't play.
