Sure, but they aren't going to put players out there who are possibly infected who will test positive the day tomorrow. The goal is to mitigate that, which means you can't play when new positives are coming in every single day.

Tyreek hill was dropped from half the leagues draft boards for strangling and punching his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach. I don't know why people bring him up like it was a blunder.

Derrick Brooks given what we had at OLB for most of the 2000's would have been fantastic.  I mean Trotter and Brooks would have been comparable to Evans and Joyner.

In fairness, we don't know who the source of the information is.  I mean what if it is Doug trying to cover his ass.  Lurie may not have given any such directive.  Maybe Howie is telling Doug that Jeff says Hurts should play and you know that was his pick.  If nothing else, it tells us that there is a lot of dissension in the front office.  My guess is that it's probably not a tenable situation through the offseason.
