They likely went out somewhere after the game, at a bar or restaurant. Likely indoors and no masks, and could have gotten it there or may have gotten it prior to the game.  Just an educated guess. Also, when did they test positive? Information is all over the map, but some doctors have said you can only spread it when you have a fever or symptoms.Â

Do the Rams have a bad CB situation outside of Ramsey?  They certainly appear to have a bunch of no-names with empty resumes.  And you don't trade 2 first round picks for a CB when you have confidence in your secondary.  I think the key to this game is the utilization of Ramsey and consistently winning the other matchups. Will Ramsey float, will he cover Desean a lot? Ertz?  Reagor?  It's fair to assume Ramsey is going to shut down his guy on almost every matchup.  Wentz isn't going to have a lot of time to go through progressions.  I wouldn't waste a single millisecond staring down anyone covered by Ramsey.  If their secondary is pretty thin, I'd expect Ramsey on an island with Hill getting generous cheating safety help.  That may leave some big opportunities for TE's up the seam or for someone like Hightower to break through deep as the #3 WR. New DC so it’s hard to say what they’ll do. They seem to like Troy Hill, and that was part of the reason they traded Peters. They have really good safety depth. John Johnson is very good, Rapp is talented but seems to be nicked a lot. Burgess is a Swiss Army knife and Jordan Fuller had a really nice debut last week. They lost Corey Littleton, who might be the best cover backer in the league. I suspect we’ll have success targeting their LBs if they play base vs 12.Â

My guess is that he will be matched up on Ertz Sunday rather than a wideout, since he is a bigger corner and I would stop Ertz as the first step to beating this team. We don't exactly have great WRs, but if they have a bad secondary (not sure/saying they do) and use up their shut-down guy on Ertz, they could run into a lot of trouble. At this point, I'm not sure I'd put my best CB on Ertz. Â I think most CB's will stick to him pretty easily, they just need to be careful that he doesn't box them out and secure catches over and around them with his longer frame. Â He's going to secure a couple first downs per game doing that against anyone, including Ramsey. Â So I'm not sure I'd waste Ramsey on that matchup. But if Ramsey is on Ertz, that all but guarantees lots of good Goedert/LB matchups and one of Hightower/JJAW/Ward being covered by a pretty lousy CB. With reduced security in the pocket, these are the matchups that should be Wentz' first read all game long, IMO. Â Don't even test Ramsey.

However, if Wentz is going to be running for his life with no time for post-snap progressions, there is no time to sit in the pocket and conduct an orchestra while scanning the whole field.  Every millisecond for each target matters and I just wouldn't target the guys being covered by a top 3 CB.
September 18, 20204 yr Ertz is our #1 threat probably. Just because of the chemistry of Wentz and Ertz. Looks like Jackson needs breaks, chemistry just started with Raegor, and Goedert is still building his

September 18, 20204 yr So Peters/Seumalo/Kelce/Herbig/Johnson it is. It will be interesting to see whom of Pryor/Mailata/Driscoll replaces Peters, if needed. Â And it will be interesting to see what they do at RG if the interior OL gets destroyed...just let it happen with Herbig or look to Pryor/Driscoll/Brown. Â

They could likely have "designated" no mask areas where tables are 10+ feet apart and outdoors so people can take a break, etc. Just a guess.Â

Donald isn’t the guy you want a rookie facing off against in his first game at a new position.Â
September 18, 20204 yr Have to get pressure on Goff; he really wilts IMO when he gets hit with regularity. When he's in rhythm he's actually quite good. It will be an interesting test for the defense because the Rams are quite a bit better than WASH on that side of the ball

I manage a gym and for awhile masks were mandatory and it was literally impossible to police. People subconsciously pull it down.Â

It's amazing both how often people do this subconsciously and how stupid people can be.  Also, the worst thing not being covered properly in this photo is not a face.  Edit: my phone was zoomed in and I now see more people...and more people touching their faces.

September 18, 20204 yr I was hoping we could resurrect the Mack Hollins "stand in the right place" position for this offense. I like to call it 10 personnel because it's like having 10 people on the field. (yes, technically 10 personnel is 4 WR 0 TE)

September 18, 20204 yr One thing to note on Ramsey: He didn’t shadow last week, but he did switch sides and covered both Gallup and Cooper.Â
