The 5 straight 3 and outs tonight was grounds for people losing their jobs. I actually was fine with how the rest of the game played out, but those 5 drives were so poor that I couldn’t defend against firing the duo of Howie and Doug.

I think we will have a new QB coach.

I think we will not renew the contract of GYMSHORTS.

 

I think those are the changes that will happen in the offseason outside of a miracle Wentz trade.

Eagles need to clean house with this coaching staff.  Lurie needs to try hard to get an experienced successful OC like Pete Carmichael Jr. as head coach, bring in a Brandon Streeter to work with Wentz.

You’re bordering on trolling, though.  There isn’t much to like about a second-year player who presumes to chime in on another team’s QB situation.  20 years ago Brian Dawkins would have taken him out of the game.

Shouldnt target any particular position in first round this offseason, everything should be on the table. Take the best guy, whether it’s offense or defense. Just add some young talent at this point & we can suffer a couple years of rebuilding

I also wouldn't be surprised to hear about some sort of "injury" to Wentz in the next few weeks if they continue to struggle.  Could be the easiest way to sit him for a game or two without causing too much "controversy".

 

The Eagles defense , especially the run defense, was great tonight. But it was easy to see how having a stellar north/south run game is essential. 
 

That’s OK though. All you need is speed speed speed. Look at the Chiefs.... just run fast and draft all fast guys. Running the ball is meaningless.... If the Chiefs can do it, anyone can.

Do what you want man, you’re your own person. but I personally don’t understand why you’d enjoy an opposing teams player trash talking the team you support. Especially after they had just beat them & this guy put up career high numbers in that game.

Granted, Wentz had some pressure, especially when they blitzed but part of being a good QB is being able to make "hot reads" and you need to get that ball out fast when you know they are blitzing or check down into a run play, etc...and Wentz didn't do that tonight...or at least not on several occasions. 

Could he use better protection?  Of course, what QB in the league wouldn't want more time to throw?  The fact of the matter is that if you want to be a good QB in the NFL in 2020 you need to deliver that ball in 2.5 seconds or less on most plays and if it's a longer developing play and you know they are blitzing, then you need to check out of that play. 

He also had decent time to throw on close to half of his offensive passing plays (3 seconds or more in some instances) and wasn't consistent...or missed throws, etc. 

The all-22 will show a lot that we didn't see during the live coverage and I have a feeling it won't bode well for Wentz.

The next game vs GB would be the only opportune time to play Hurts, because the game plan against the Packers’ shoddy run defense needs to be run, run, run.  There is no logical reason not to pound the ball 30+ times against Green Bay.

My feeling is if Hurts plays, the ball would come out quicker — for better or worse.  Hurts would look first read, maybe second, then run for it.  The problem is, Hurts isn’t really an accurate passer either
