Also we don’t hate you guys. You beat Chicago and Minnesota in the playoffs. Thank you so much.

I've never disliked the Packers, in fact if there was any team in the NFL sans the Eagles I'd be ok rooting for it's the Packers. Reggie White is my favorite player ever, and he left for the Packers after the Eagles, and Rodgers is one of my favorite players to watch in NFL history.

And I respect the way the Packers run their team and you guys have great fans. I'd much rather you guys come out of the NFC than the freaking Saints or Rams or whatever.

Lol oh ok sorry I’m a bit on edge after watching this team play football again

Most important move is Doug HAS to be gone; he’s killing this team right now

And it’s pretty obvious. On that sack where we settled for a field goal. We have guys That don’t even know what the play is. Jeffrey runs his route instead of initiating the block for a wide receiver screen until 4 yards down field. (On the picture it looks like he’s blocking. He’s not he got jammed by the corner and then continues his route for another 2 yards and then begins to block) The play called was supposed to be reagor on wide receiver screen. Go look at where Carson Wentz is looking. it’s where reagor should have been on a wide receiver screen and instead reagor is 6-7 yards up the field. If that doesn’t tell you this team is so unprepared that they don’t even know the play that’s being called

I hate this offense. I Fing HATE it. This offense is a failure from the top of the organization from who the team drafted and gave money to;  to the godawful coaching where the players seemingly do not know how to sit, accelerate, or decelerate through a zone; to the playcalling where the team keeps throwing screens to Greg Fing ward instead of Reagor and either abandons the run too early or never commits to it; to all to the regurgitation of a product that is on the field, where even if a seemingly minor miracle happens and the team string together a couple of first downs, they then find a way to suck that momentum out with one of Kelce’s timely bad snaps, or a false start, or someone didn’t line up correctly.

I really wish this could just be Carson Wentz’ fault. I really do. Then the team could just go to Hurtz or whomever they feel like drafting and move on and give some hope. But seriously.... how the hell can you even properly evaluate Wentz (or Hurts for that matter) when if he’s not running for life, his passes are being dropped, and snaps are going over his head, and defenses know exactly where his launch point is every play and they know what play the eagles are running? He’s obviously trying too hard to make plays. He’s trying to be the hero. But wtf else should he do? The first 5 drives of the game went 3 and out. The team only started moving down the field when Wentz played hero ball.

Wentz isn’t playing well. And neither is anyone else on this abortion of an offense. The only reason you want Hurts to play is to make yourselves feel better about this GODAWFUL offense and say "yay! The finally changed something! Maybe they care like I do!”

stop it. It ain’t just Wentz. It ‘s ALL bad.

You can’t fire Doug now. What if we start winning games? No one wants that.

I don't think he's dumb enough to put 5'8' corners on a guy whose 6'5". Last years pass defense was way worse than this year and they still held him to 35 yards in a game. I get it, DK this and DK that, but to suggest he's going to get 80 a quarter is just silly.

No you were absolutely right he wasn't dumb enough. Slay just wasn't good enough.

Oh and I was exaggerating when I said 80 per quarter. Wasn't far off though.

I get slay didn’t play well and deserves criticism. But on the 52 yard reception by DK Metcalf, mcleod is doing nothing on that play. He was sitting in the middle of the field with no one around him, looking in the backfield at Russell Wilson. I’m almost Positive he was supposed to be the deep safety if there was a pass over the top. I’ve watch that play 3 to 4 times it is mind boggling watching Rodney McLeod just sitting there while slay is trailing DK Metcalf and he’s just looking at Russell Wilson. Literally mcleod didn’t do anything on that play  was covering nobody and in no man’s land

And then down the left side of the field for the 31 yard reception for DK agin McLeod is not doing anything on that play. He’s sitting in the middle of the field and doesn’t react until it’s way too late. Now slay was beat on that play but mcleod on that play again was way too late to react.

Hey look I'm not saying it was all on Slay. McLeod was awful and didn't help him. But the whole point in bringing Slay in is to lock down #1 receivers isn't it?

There are only about three corners in this league where you’re going to get a corner who shuts down number one wide receivers. Unless you have Gilmore, Ramsey and white that’s not happening.

Then why trade a third and a fifth for a 29 nearly 30 year old?

Because the Eagles have been piss poor at fixing the corner back position via the draft. They swung and missed on Byron Jones who is a free agent who they wanted and they move to getting him. I hate to break it to you but if you think another team is going to trade you a Gilmore for a third round pick or allow someone of that ilk to reach free agency (unless they are a poorly run organization) then you’re gonna be really disappointed cause that doesn’t happen often.

And what a wonderful job they've done at finding a semi competent guy opposite Slay too.

I said at the beginning of the off-season if you get slay and you put maddox as your second corner you’re going to look just as bad because teams are just gonna pick on him because he’s not in outside corner. Slay is fine. Going to have good games and minimal bad games from him. He’s still one of the better corners in the league. Bigger issue is maddox. Moore just pulled down the ball over him with ease. And Moore isn’t exactly a great wr

Oh absolutely. Slay has been good this year for the most part. He struggled last night but hey Metcalf is a top WR so that's going to happen.

Well I was dead wrong.  The O sucked again.

Passing on Fulton and Chinn was a big mistake.

I don't think you'll get anyone arguing that. But that said, Carson is playing so badly, they drafted a second round QB the time has now come to play Hurts. At least try to show why you made that pick.

Yeah, I hate to give up on Wentz but at this point I just want to see what there is with Hurts. 12 weeks of Wentz has been enough

Absolutely. I'm not expecting great things from Hurt, not in this offense. But... I would be truly shocked if he's worse than Wentz.

Yes, I'm not 12 years old. I'm mature enough to be able to enjoy watching players on other teams not named the Eagles.

Enjoy is one thing.
