Good news on the injured.  I wonder if Parks tries to practice this week?

Can’t practice on IR.   Week after next.

The Rams might be the most zone heavy team. Ramsey will still press though.

Eagles are a tough team to press.  JJAW, Ertz and Goedert can manhandle the CB the first four yards and throw them off.  Reagor, Hightower and DJax, it works on some of the time bIt DJax and Reagor have feints that cause the DB to misstep. A wrong step on them can be a huge strike because they accelerate to instant separation.  Ward seems to have got his quickness back and that too can defeat the press.

I'll be working during the game again tomorrow so if you guys can erase the entire days posts again I'd appreciate it.

Everyone has different views. Ive heard so many different views from different annalists, ex players, beat writers, experts etc, lol. It all comes down to most choose the view that they believe more themselves.

No one except the team knows the gap assignments.  Thus the only way to grade an OL from the standpoint of the public is if he held his block.

I watched the whole thing hoping Jennifer Garner might take her clothes off. She doesn’t.

Movie sucks.

Alias was on Prime so I watched a few episodes.  Garner is one of those people who has become more attractive as she ages.

I will be ok for this week but there is a chance Hurricane teddy kicks our a** early next week.

28-24 Eagles

Last week our Birds faced Washington after 6 game winning streak.  Sadly the tables turn and we took that L.   This very next week we face the Rams.  Guess what, we are on a 6 Game Winning streak with them as well since 2005.   Let's keep this streak going.  Westcoast trip for them and they played Sunday night.   We can bounce back with this game.

Over the last year or so, Sheil Kapadia has vaulted to the top of my favorite sports writers in this town. Big fan and always objective.

I used to enjoy Sheil's work on Philly Mag.  Could spend a couple of lunch breaks digging into articles.  Smart chap

Good to see Rush getting a chance elsewhere. He can be a solid 3rd or 4th DT.

Maybe the change will backfire.

This Clemson-Citadel game might finish 150-0. Every play for The Citadel goes backwards and every play for Clemson is a touchdown.

Eagles Rams game from 2017 is on NFL network.  We looked so much more creative offensively back then.

Frank Reich

Another angle to consider is how much Wentz' input has affected the creativity of the offense, does he like samey plays?

Has anyone here listened to the Mosher and Caplan Inside the Birds podcast?

Caplan who usually leans somewhat pro Eagles and their player, really tore into Wentz during their game breakdown of Sunday.

He said that he’s heard from multiple sources that Wentz really needs to be coached and coached hard because he has constant frustrating breakdowns with his mechanics and he said the coaches right now are being too easy on him and JDF used to ride his a** big time when he was here and it got the best out of him.

Caplan thinks Doug needs to take a more hands on approach one on one with Wentz because he doesn’t think Press Taylor is doing a good job.

Mosher said a non NFC East personnel guy texted him after the game and asked him why the hell Wentz hasn't learned to throw the ball away yet.

Given how he hasn't improved on things that were clearly problems in 2018 (Not checking down, not throwing the balls away on busted screens and plays, not resetting his feet on progressions), you can absolutely make the case that it's coaching.

The Eagles drafted a QB in RD2 and it didn't motivate Wentz to improve his mechanics. That's very concerning.

Just your assumptions.

Some guys just fall back to back habits when it’s live fire. Aaron Rodgers has terrible mechanics, but, like Wentz, has the arm talent to overcome it.

I don't agree with this. Rodgers is very accurate. His mechanics are consistent; they work for him even if it wouldn't for others. Rivers has unconventional mechanics, but he's accurate (his decision-making is another issue).

My fear is Wentz is who he is at this point...which means he's going to miss gimme throws every game, and you have to hope he makes enough WOW plays to make up for it.

You might not agree, but that doesn’t change Rodgers’ bad mechanics, notably his footwork. It’s supposedly something that coaches tried to clean up, but he butted heads with them over it.
