At this point, he could be cut and the result would be the same as cutting him in the offseason.   Is it a coincidence that Fulgham disappeared and the offense that was showing signs of life against Baltimore and Pittsburgh got even worse than ever?   Nah... time to cut bait on him.   Whether it helps or not doesn't matter... gotta get rid of the rats, then fumigate the locker room.

Yep. Fulgham was looking great, so Doug says screw that let's get AJ in there.

Agreed.  @Ace Nova we will add this to the list of things Doug is not doing to make it easier, forcing Jeffrey onto the field when Wentz and Fulgham had a chemistry.  Still waiting for something he is doing to simplify things for Carson.  I think I am up 5-0 in things he is doing to make it harder for Carson.

You can bench (Carson) Wentz, fire Dougie P, but you still got the same little weasel snake picking the players. He has been God awful," Scandrick said. "You say Wentz doesn’t have any help, well how is he supposed to have help if you draft J.J. Arcega-Whiteside over DK Metcalf? Then we go to the offseason and we say ‘Wentz still doesn’t have any help', and we draft Jalen Reagor who was a punt returner. He was basically known for being a punt returner at TCU over (Justin) Jefferson. It is time to blow the whole thing up. Blow it all up. Enjoy the Super Bowl, give him his Super Bowl ring, give him all the little nice pats on the back, call him a nice Uber XL and get him on out of there.”

Scandrick is a scum, but he's not wrong.... but he's still a scum.

I mean look at this throw:

He has an open receiver with more than a step of separation.  He's throwing to a spot and the receiver makes a good catch.  I think this is typical of what you see from him.  I think he has an elite type arm strength is an above average athlete but I don't think he's a sure thing.

Riddick has been a bitter Howie basher for years.

He may be right,  but he has no real credibility discussing eagles FO matters. He has an agenda.

Cool.  He's not wrong.   Howie needs to go.

100% agree with this, and the Jets ( Gase ) will ruin him.  See Ryan Tannehill.

He is correct regardless of his agenda.

They want to clear the way for "Grayland Arnold"... but will leave Mailata to sit behind Peters until Peters decides he is ready to step aside.  Will leave Fulgham on the bench for Alshon.  Will leave Watkins on the inactive list and play Ward.

That meme exemplifies this thread.

Their roster management is beyond incompetent.  It's criminal.

Then maybe see what Mailata looks at right tackle and keep Dillard at LT.  It's much too soon to give up on Dillard, imo.

I mean that's not a bad idea. I wouldn't be against that at all.

Exactly.  More proof positive that the problems start at the top, and Wentz is way down the list of issues.

Nah, I'd like to see Fulgham out there more.  The reality is that he had about the same amount (or more snaps) than Jeffery last night and for whatever reason, Wentz failed to target him.

And I answered your questions.  We agree that calling more roll outs would likely help...and running the ball could help as well...so no idea how you keep score but I have yet to disagree with that stuff.  But I guess if it makes you feel better, so be it.

You have stated multiple times that they simplified the offense for Wentz.

Not calling designed roll outs.

Not running up tempo

25:75 run pass ratio

Taking away the outlet receiver ( which you stated that is what the article said but defenses are taking it away )

Playing Jeffery at the expense of Fulgham who Wentz had chemistry with.

So technically 4-0.  You have yet to provide what Doug is doing to make it easier for Wentz, the one thing you hinged your argument on you then said is being taken away by the defense.  I have provided 4 things that Doug is doing to make it harder.

No matter what anyone thinks about Doug, all roads wind up leading right back to Howie.

He's got to go.  He's the cause and solution to all the problems this franchise has.

Doug has to get someone in to actually draw up the plays.  I can't decide if he's just that bad a playcaller or if he's just that bad of a play designer.

Honestly, it's the worst I've ever seen.  I can't think of one more that made sense or had DP bumbling over his words trying to defend it.  For goodness sakes they were talking up Opeta as the starting RG only to have him put on IR an hour later.  Are they that incompetent?

They want Jeffery and Peters to probably get a shot at earning contract bonuses and they don't want to play a free agent WR over a guy they are paying millions and their prized 1st round draft pick. Howie can't justify that to Lurie, so it's easier to pretend that Fulgham isn't ready and that Jeffery and Reagor are more qualified.   This is all about politics and not about talent.

Been putting tweets up as I have not seen @ManuManu around today, must be fed up with the Eagles as we all are.

New job takes up most of the day. I skim but don’t have much time to post.

Who wants to take a bet that Will Parks signs with a team and has an interception before any Eagles player does.

No worries.  Been trying to pick up the slack for you.....

Clearly, Howie can not justify that, no matter how he tries.

Those look like the #1 and #2 scoring defense that Fulgham did damage against.

Will Parks seemed like an okay box safety. I'm not sure I really get why he was cut.

Dude is playing well.  What do you guys wanna bet he sits the second Gerry comes off IR ??

It was not the termination that many were hoping for.
