Same. Although I remember us getting a pimpass typewriter where it would show you the last word or two on an 8-character LCD and then wouldn't actually print the text to paper until the line feed. My dad had to buy so many ribbons for it, I wore all them sheets out.

You know what was cool to see you this weekend from the Chiefs they had Patrick Mahomes multiple times in pre-snap motion and then coming back to take the snap in motion to run plays. I had never seen that from the quarterback position multiple times in a game.

The thought of our offense being able to execute something like this without a fumble, a false start, or an illegal formation makes me LOL.........but then I cry on the inside.

I've texted this to friends at the beginning of multiple games, but it looks like the Eagles don't practice at all.  It looks like a bunch idiots drawing plays out on the palm of their hand in flag football.

How much WR analysis did folks do with Nate Peterman's Bills?

Interesting conspiracy theory brought up by Bo wulf on the BWF podcast today. Made the point that maybe doug doesn’t wanna be here anymore (multiple rumors one before the season started he’s at the end of his rope and then doug wouldn’t mind being fired)and what you’re seeing from doug is basically for lack of better words that wulf actually used giving the bird to howie and the front office before he’s on his way out because he’s sick and tired of their crap

Could be that Doug is tired of being micro-managed by Howie and Jeff.  They brought in Schwartz before they hired Doug.  Doug says in a PC he's keeping his O staff then they are fired.  Now this OC by committee thing, which sounds more like something people who never actually played the game than someone who has.  Maybe he wants to be a 'real' HC and not a figurehead with the FO pulling the strings?  It's either that or he really is that inept at running an O without someone like Reich to design the plays/scheme for him.

CBS has video of it.

I've never coached football, so I'm happy to hear from anyone that has, but this is what I don't get.  If Doug could just step back, look himself in the mirror, and realize that he should be just be developing the coaches and managing the culture of that football team (which he's been great at), I think he'd be great.  What is the big deal about the play calling??  I know it has to be an ego thing, but at this point, how can he not know that he sucks at it this year?  And most of the last 2 years?

I know he was good with Frank Reich, but wasn't Reich the architect?  I honestly don't even know what that means, but to me it sounds like Doug trusted Reich and always coached in a vacuum in specific situations no matter what.

Playing armchair psychologist I can understand how a guy, if he’s being actively prohibited from doing his main job, will hold on to the one thing he has left. I think Reich worked for whatever reason. Groh didn’t and they took away his right to pick his assistants.

Considering he never proved anything and sucked miserably every single time he ever played football in the NFL............I'd say none!  Here, I'll do the opposite of what you're doing...

How many QBs have thrown for 4000 yards with no receiver having 500 yards in a season?  This is fun!

I ran out of likes today.  Oops!

If it's one thing Andy Reid is good at, it's preparation.  I can't imagine how meticulous their practices are in today's NFL during a COVID year for them to execute this perfectly.

Considering the fact that Nathan Peterman only had four starts not much analysis to do.

Not delusional.  I think Wentz sucks right now.  He has sucked all year, and some of it doesn't make sense, but a lot of it does.  His downfall right now is a perfect storm of incompetence in preparation, OL hurt, WRs hurt and suck, play calling is atrocious, and Wentz himself.  It's painful to watch.  It's almost like the reverse perfect storm of the SB run.

There seems to be a lot of Jalen Hurts hate going around. People hate the move, which I can see the point. What the QB room needed was more a Josh McCown-type. Ok, But he WAS drafted. You'll have to explain to me how his presence on the team is messing up Carson Wentz. $40M guaranteed wasn't enough?

No. It was a bad draft move, yes. Horrible.  But if Carson is getting intimidated by this kid being on the team. Either Carson is being way too sensitive for a person with his job at his salary. Or maybe the kid has really been outstanding in practice and would intimidate any QB. But either way, I want to see him play. I don't trust Pederson to do what's best for the team right now.

You listed Wentz last. That's delusional. Stop overthinking this. Wilson made that deep bomb under duress to DK Metcalf look easier than Wentz did throwing a 2 yard pass to a wide open John Hightower.

If he was outstanding in practice I see no reason why he gets 2 to 3 at best snaps per game and 95% of the time are runs.

OMG.  There was no order in that sentence.  Just a comma with multiple reasons.  If there was, I would have said, "This is the #1 reason why this team sucks!"  All of these factors contribute.  It's obvious you want people to agree with you that Wentz is the only problem so there's no way we can debate.

But let's be honest here. The kid is 3-3. Not enough to anoint him anything, but don't tell me the kid doesn't look good unless you've seen him play somewhere I haven't. Give me some reason why not to play him over Wentz. First half: 30 yards against the 2nd worst secondary in NFL history? I want to see him play. If he fails you can repeat HIS ugly stats in posts. I don't want to see him play because HE'S so good, but because what Wentz is doing isn't worthy of the Eagles starting QB job.

Contribute to what degree? If you're saying they're equal or near equal, then you're delusional.

I’m just saying, if he looks good in practice but can only get 3 passes and sub 20 snaps in 12 weeks, there are major problems

It's as if Howie's failure to understand the team's personnel needs and Wentz's failure to stay healthy collided and oops, had a baby. Jalen. The kid's on the team now. Doesn't matter how he got here. We gotta feed him.

Don't bother in here.  I've been going at it all day.  Wentz can literally go 0-40  and throw 4 interceptions next week and they will find excuses to blame anything and everything else. Now they're drumming up conspiracy theories saying that Doug Pederson is intentionally calling bad plays so he can get fired.  It's borderline insanity.

Yes, I think they're fairly equal parts of the equation.  Constant OL changes (right side was dreadful last night), abandoning the run, inability to scheme receivers open, receivers unable to get off press coverage, receivers unable to create separation, play calling in general.  You name it.  I'm literally giving you a reasonable explanation as to why Wentz sucks right now.  All of those things have made him suck.  What reason do you have for him regressing like this??  It doesn't just happen out of thin air.  I'm assuming you're a Foles fanboy?

Wilson missed a bunch of throws last night as well.  The difference is that his receivers are actual weapons and create separation on almost every single play.  If you think Fulgham, Reagor, and Ward do, you're delusional.  Please refrain from sending me the 2 clips of our receivers getting open last night on 60 drop backs.  I get it.

I happen to think the problem is Doug's not Jalen's. Nothing Pederson has done has shown me that he has the slightest clue how to evaluate players.

Yep, you're overthinking this.

Did Jaguars fans call each other Henne fanboys for criticizing Blake Bortles?

Just like you refuse to say Doug pederson has any fault besides not playing Jalen Hurts. Literally doug could go to another team and never win another game and you would still make the excuse Doug pederson has no faults again. Kettle meet pot

and the conspiracy theory was by bo wulf of birds with friends and it wasn’t about intentionally calling bad games. It was he is sick and tired of Howie Roseman and Jeffrey lurie so he’s giving them the middle finger about when they tell him what he has to do and what he should do . Meanwhile plays into the reports at the start of the season he was at the end of his rope and then the one last week saying he wouldn’t mind being fired
