Caplan who usually leans somewhat pro Eagles and their player, really tore into Wentz during their game breakdown of Sunday. He said that he’s heard from multiple sources that Wentz really needs to be coached and coached hard because he has constant frustrating breakdowns with his mechanics and he said the coaches right now are being too easy on him and JDF used to ride his a** big time when he was here and it got the best out of him. Caplan thinks Doug needs to take a more hands on approach one on one with Wentz because he doesn’t think Press Taylor is doing a good job. Mosher said a non NFC East personnel guy texted him after the game and asked him why the hell Wentz hasn't learned to throw the ball away yet. I’m so sick of Caplin say " Remember folks, we are not Eagles fans, we just call it as it is”. OK Caplin whatever. You know you finally got laid when the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Rivers has unconventional mechanics, but he's accurate (his decision-making is another issue). A good coach would accentuate what Wentz does best and minimize what he does worst. He worse at a straight drop every single time, scanning and throwing to a spot so, of course, Doug does that most of the time. Bad coach. Meanwhile, all verifiable data shows he is the best in the league outside if the pocket, scanning while moving, and throwing dimes- the famous Sanders TD last season being the best example. This is not to say he is moved every pass, but he needs to move, his mind processes information much better that way and his mechanics follow. I find it odd that with Foles Doug would call RPO, but with Wentz, an excellent RPO QB, zero, zilch RPO.

September 20, 20204 yr 1 minute ago, ManuManu said: Probably so. Very inconsistent would be better. Agreed, and I think some of that is his gunslinger mentality, trying to make throws from awkward positions, around defenders, or on the run. He's never been one to set his feet. Like you said, he's got the arm strength and accuracy that he doesn't always need to. I also think trying to mess with a QB's mechanics at this stage in their football playing career is a dangerous game. The success stories there seem to be few and far between, which is why I never like drafting QBs like Tebow or Vince Young to be taken on as "projects".
September 20, 20204 yr Let’s hope Sanders is healthy. The running game is key. Goal should be 100+ yards rushing as a team.

September 20, 20204 yr Eagles remain favorites to win which says alot. The eagles are now healthy and last week vs Washington meant very little.

Ertz is probably top 5-7 all time as a route running tight end. He's not fast. But his ability to get open is unreal. I wish he was a better blocker, and I really wish he didn't fall down every time he catches a pass to protect himself, but we have a better version of him that showcased himself last weekend. Physical, aggressive, athletic.........I'm ready to move on!

Why is BB the greatest coach of all time? Well, one reason is he adjusts his game to his player. Doug did too w Nick. I mean, LOOK at last week with Cam. Sheesh. Wentz SHOULD BE moving as much as possible.

Yes, I was going to mention BB and Cam. It's the perfect example. 19 passes, 15 rushes and 2 TDs. Its elementary, but Doug is still in Kindi-garten. Frustrating.

His mechanics are weird. He's just so absurdly talented that he overcomes them. 2) Correct. Rivers reminds me of Peyton Manning but not in the same class. No arm strength, awful mechanics, but has the ability to throw a receiver open before they make the cut.

I thought Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were excellent, Inglourius B and Kill Bill were okay (2 was better than 1), and Django Unchained was junk. I haven't seen his others.
