Parks? Come on, he was fighting it out with Epps and a bunch of PS guys for the last DB slot.

The fact that teams wanted to sign him simply shows that Howie is at least finding decent depth at the bottom of the roster.

So according to NextGenStats, which uses RFID tracking, Reagor is above-average from a separation perspective. He's surprisingly higher than Jefferson, Jeudy, Lamb, Ruggs, etc.

https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/receiving/#average-separation
Like any stats, there's noise. He's played less games and that matters. Also, because he's smaller, Reagor needs more separation to win consistently. I just wanted to post this for the crowd that says "Reagor can't separate". That's clearly not the case.

Roughly 20% of the league wants a guy we couldn't play more than 15 snaps a game. Not a good look.

That is quite a few claims. Wow.

Nice saying old timer! What other knowledge did King Louis XVI bestow upon thee?

Relax.  We probably agree more than we disagree then.

I’m a relax. I said he’d play that card. That’s different from saying he did that. Cause i don’t believe he had that foresight that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t try to use that card tho but you ran with your narrative of me saying howie did it.

You want my real opinion i think lurie is really the one ultimately behind it. I think that mosher story was BS, which kind of turned out to be true that it was. I think lurie understands getting Carson wentz right for the future of this franchise is more valuable to this franchise then anything that comes from the rest of the season.

I also believe it hurts Doug much more if he was given two franchise quarterbacks that Jeffrey lurie signed off on and believed to be franchise guys (one himself he said thought could be like Wilson) and both of them struggle with him.

In a crisis, always try to keep your head.

Justin Jefferson over reagor will get Howie fired eventually. Jefferson is already schooling vets with his route running.

Meanwhile we picked another project. Lol

It's beyond comical at this point.

Lurie understands the self-preservation of his image and his brand.

If he keeps Howie and they win 3 games next year, Lurie's name will be the one dragged through the mud in Philly sports, not Howie, not Klentak, not Middleton.

Lurie's loyalty may cause him to hang onto Howie far too long, but he'll drop him like a hot potato once the bad press settles onto him.

Yep, and he will make an impact play before anyone on the Eagles does.

I think the press is there and it was turned up to 11 on MNF....national TV.  He has to make a move.

Then let's turn it up to 12.

Lurie needs to get OUT of the situation.  He doesn't know what he's doing.

He needs to get rid of Howie and bring in a guy who knows FOOTBALL and contracts.

Doug needs to go where he can just be a coach, and not have to kowtow at the feet of a bean counter who thinks he knows football.

It is hard to ascertain the long-term prospects of rookies.

It is especially hard when said rookie is in a dysfunctional offense.

I don't want to talk about it.

But I could turn that around and say, don't you think the issues are because of Wentz? How can an offense function when the QB is playing this badly?

I'm saying there are issues behind why Wentz is bad. It doesn't excuse his bad play, but it is a reason. Bad mechanics, for example, can be a number of things. It can just be the QB being lazy, it can be the coach being lazy, but dropping back time after time after time with shaky protection will magnify the bad mechanics by rushing QB's into their throws. They get rattled, and mechanics go right out the window. That is the case with every QB, not just Carson.

If Howie just did the obvious and drafted Jefferson and Chinn he would have probably easily bought himself another 5 years of bulletproof job security.

Sometimes teams make things more complicated than they need to be. For instance  when it comes to Reagor he had the reputation of being a all world speed WR that was estimated to run a 4.2-4.3 speed. He ran a 4.47. Now first thing you are taught not to put so much stock into 40 times but in his case a WR who biggest skill is speed and didn’t run much of the route tree should have been a big enough red flag.

Not saying this is the case all times but in Reagors case Howie missed it.

Well, the interesting thing about sports franchises is that eventually most of this stuff will come out in the open.  It might not happen right away but if it eventually does, we can always come back to this blog and see how close we were in our, "educated guesses". ;)

And is being used incorrectly... but Reagor has shown zero explosion.  Maybe he's uncertain of his role his responsibility, etc. and that's hurting him, but at some point I'd like to see some elite athleticism from him, just a glimpse.

Ei my lord....And how are things on the other 7 realms?

The Eagles are the best in the NFL at making things more complicated than they need to be.

TJ Watt did a nice job keeping social distance on that run.  Completely whiffed on the RB.

If this is true we are just in trouble.  I just don't understand why Howie can do no wrong in Lurie's eyes.  The guy has single handedly decimated this roster.

I look forward to when everyone loses their mind when we pass on chase to draft a guy everyone wasn’t as high on.

Steelers are in danger of having their own Joe Webb moment on a Wednesday...

But... then the Ravens decided to be stupid and run straight up the gut with 26 seconds and no timeouts.

Howie is going to twist the knife on Carson and draft Trey Lance

Oooooo that hurts smh terrible way to end the half

Bad clock management... like worst ever.

So I listen to the start of the inside the birds podcast with caplan saying he had two sources tell him that Carson Wentz is now keeping his eyes down and not up the field. Which kind of tells me he’s worried about getting protection, he is worried about getting hit and he probably seeing ghost out there when he does. That is a massive issue of those scouts are accurate.
