Interesting numbers... what I see is basically that this team has been swimming upstream ALL season, and really never should have won a single game.   (The Bengals game is an outlier given the extra 15 minutes of gametime, but I suppose they 'should' have won that one.)

Bonus

Superbowl 52

Patriots:50. Eagles: 56

Can I just say that Mike Tirico is WAY better than Al Michaels at this point?   It's not even close.

Matt Canada is an intriguing option at OC. He’s currently the Steelers QB coach.

Yep.  Good break down on the broadcast on how they changed Ben to a hold on to it forever QB to the quickest release in the NFL QB.  Imagine that, catering to your players strengths.

Not getting anything on the scoreboard before the half is looming large for the Ravens right now.   Horrible coaching decision.

Wow that fumble by Johnson could’ve been disastrous

I think it shows that rule is more correlation than causation

Fortuitous bounce for the Steelers... how often has  that   happened?

Could be... But, it does seem to show that the team with more runs + completions ends up on the correct side of the win-loss column.

And in Lombardi's era, with more emphasis on runs... it means that of the 50, more were runs, which likely meant far higher TOP, and fewer plays for the opponent.  If you got to 50, your opponent might only get to 35.

That's an odd list.  If Devante Parker is the absolute worst at creating separation in all of football, does this stat even matter?  Also, I'm laughing at Tyreke Hill having the same average as Larry Fitzgerald.

LOL. Imagine if you had a "numbers guy" GM who tried to build the team around analytics and pretty numbers, that could be a complete... wait. 😳

A couple things I'd be mulling over if I were in Doug's shoes:

1. What's the best way to ENSURE I get fired?  Switch to Hurts and let everyone see how unprepared he is, that there's no future there, and that I have 2 failed QBs.

2. What's the best way to find new life and job security?  Switch to Hurts, let him turn some heads and suggest that he may be the future here.  Then you have to keep the coach who is mentoring him along.

Doug's extreme aversion to using Hurts at this point probably tells you what he thinks of Hurts and his future as a QB.

He might also know that if you think you have 2 starting QB’s (like Howie and his QB factory) it usually means you have 0.

You said it. He has best kicker in league and he does that s___. Then in 3rd quarter he gets a holding call and runs 2 dumb plays. And still doesn’t give Tucket a chance.

Harbaugh should get lambasted.
That game was like watching Eagles/Giants.

The Steelers are, without question, the worst late season undefeated team in NFL history.

Can we get rid of the other guy now?

Sort of make you wonder that if we had a half decent team this year, we could of probably made a run.    Out of the NFC the Saints are decent.  We just played the Seahawks and they're beatable.  We'll see what Green Bay looks like this week and Tampa has been "up and down" all year.  The Rams are "ok" . That's about it in the NFC.

They've had a 2017 Eagles like schedule.

I think they're better than people think though.

Washington is going to beat them next week. They are going to beat the hell out of Big Ben.

Just awful.

The Chiefs would destroy them.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers are one and done in the playoffs.

I would pick the Steelers to win against any AFC team in the playoffs right now besides the Chiefs. Things could change between now and January though.
