If you want to be more pissed off watch the third down and 10 from Seattle 17 in the third quarter that led to a sack. It was supposed to be a wide receiver screen to Jalen reagor. The reason it doesn’t work is because he runs a vertical route instead of staying where he was supposed to. If he does he has blockers all around him. He likely scores a touchdown on that play. He had kelce, peters and even alshon after he started blocking 6-7 yards down field. He really would’ve only had to beat the safety around the 6-7 yard line for the score.

Can't be. People on here said that was Wentz fault

Reagor actually had a play down the sideline I want to say on the second drive where his route was so bad he kept drifting to the sideline which helped Griffin in covering him.

This is how they are coached. Drift out of bounds to make things easier for the opposing team

Also we forgive you guys for 4th and 26 lol.

From what I took of what Doug said about the play calling is that it's the same he's always done where the coaches collaborate a game plan and Doug decides what plays to call during the game

I don't think anyone else is actually calling plays during the game

Doug was asked about Howard playing Sunday. He said there's a possibility but it depends on a bunch of factors

Every single team, in every sport, can play the "we should have drafted XYZ instead" game.

Exactly.  And I don't really want to go there so I'll end it with this:

What's the likelihood of Jefferson having anywhere near the numbers he has, had he been with the Eagles this year?

What's the likelihood of Reagor having better numbers had he been with the Vikings this year?

We can "what if" all day long if we want.  Smh.

Lol clearly the reporters are as confused as everyone else about who is actually calling the plays

Driscoll starting at RT

You guys have bragging rights over us from last year still.

Surprised they didn't ask why Alshon is getting snaps over anyone lol

So  whos playing Oline this weekend?

Mailata, Seumalo, Kecle, ? JP or Herbig, and Pryor or Driscoll?

I actually think we would have a shot with  Mailata, Seumalo, Kelce, Herbig and ???     we should be able to run the ball,

Wait what am I saying Doug only called 9 runs last game, he still thinks he is playing the SB against the Pats.

Nevermind

I'm glad you added those last 2 lines

I almost spit my coffee out my nose reading the first part.

YOu need to forgive your DBs and coaches for that.

There wont be a repeat of that

When a plane crashes in a fiery heap of charred and twisted metal, people look for the black box so that they can learn from the root cause and prevent it from happening again.  They don't do it to salvage and reuse the engines, wings, or certain parts of the plane.

Howie, Doug, and Wentz are all parts of a plane that is going down.  You can blame one root cause all you want, but they are all unsalvageable here.

That game hurt like hell I admit it.

I actually think Adams is super underrated when you think about the great wide receivers in this league. he’s usually about the fourth or fifth wide receiver even if that when people bring him up. He’s missed two games (really 2.5) and he has 74 receptions, 908 yards and 11 touchdowns. For perspective that’s 5th in receptions, 10th in yards and 2nd in tds. And frankly if he didn’t miss time theres a strong chance he is first in receptions, first in touchdowns and probably close to first in receiving yards. I understand he has Aaron Rodgers but that’s pretty ridiculous when you think about it if he didn’t miss those two games theres the possibility he could be leading the league in every statistical category for a wide receiver. He’s 11 catches away from leading the league in receptions. He’s only 120 yards away from leaving the league in yards. And two touchdowns away from leading the league in touchdown receptions while playing just 9 games compared to everyone else with 11.

From a talent perspective, he's a good WR. I would love to have him on this team. I like him. He's having a great year, but I disagree with people who put him near the top of WRs though. He has spent his entire career with one of the best QBs ever and has only eclipsed 1000 yards one time in his career (he'll do it again, this season). He hasn't played an entire season in 4 years.

He's still likely top 10-12 WR, but when people talk about him as if he's in that top 3, I think it's ridiculous.

Are you talking about our Adams? I think last year against you guys he kept us in that game.

The only injury for certain is the one to my soul watching the game.

So you’re really out on Wentz? No way he looks like a franchise QB again?

Yes. He's a great receiver, but people talk about him like he's a slam dunk top 5 WR in football and it's ridiculous.

He’s not the best but he’s good. I hope you guys beat out the Giants for the East.

I love Fletch, but there’s an incredibly minimal chance he gets into the hall.

I don't think it's "too far of a stretch" especially if they take into account his "All Pro" years (The committee has members of the Sports writers of America that would likely take "All-Pro" voting into consideration).

- 2018 First Team All Pro

- 2014, 2015, 2017 2nd Team All Pro

- 5x Pro Bowler 2015-2019

- NFL's 2010's Decade Team

Those are pretty strong accolades, despite his lack of exceptional sack stats.  And if they take into account that Aaron Donald (another potential HOF candidate) was arguably the only "better" defensive tackle during his era, I think that would bode well for his chances.

That said, another 2-3 years of playing at a "pro-bowl level" could help him significantly.
