Yes. He's a great receiver, but people talk about him like he's a slam dunk top 5 WR in football and it's ridiculous.

He is top 5 no question.

1. Hopkins

2. Tyreek Hill

3. Metcalf

4. Adams

5. Julio

Yeah, your list is a joke.

Yeah Let’s see yours, this should be good

Please explain how Adams is not a top 5 WR?

This season he is. I'm not disputing that. I'm saying in a general (over the last several seasons) I wouldn't put him in the top 5 and it's asinine to say otherwise.

You think you guys will beat us Sunday? I’m worried to be honest.

This...

This is F***** EMBARRASSING!.

Within 20 seconds they went from trading back and getting a corner to laughing at the Eagles and getting a chubb to get Justin Jefferson.

At one point the GM goes.... "Hey Pat.. " and it interrupted and goes "I'm on it"  meaning JJ is such a no brainer you dont need to tell me what to do

Vikings draft room elated after Eagles selected Jalen Reagor (radio.com)

Fwiw they were talking about trading back at 25 for a corner, not trading back from 22. There plan was to go for a WR after Eagles took one and then move back from 25 for a CB, which is exactly what they did.

I don't think it's "too far of a stretch" especially if they take into account his "All Pro" years (The committee has members of the Sports writers of America that would likely take "All-Pro" voting into consideration).

- 2018 First Team All Pro

- 2014, 2015, 2017 2nd Team All Pro

- 5x Pro Bowler 2015-2019

- NFL's 2010's Decade Team

Those are pretty strong accolades, despite his lack of exceptional sack stats.  And if they take into account that Aaron Donald (another potential HOF candidate) was arguably the only "better" defensive tackle during his era, I think that would bode well for his chances.

That said, another 2-3 years of playing at a "pro-bowl level" could help him significantly.

Suh has better "accolades”, and I don’t think he makes it either, tho he has other issues that hamper his bid.

Fletch is the most dominant run defending DT this last decade, in a time  when the league has transitioned to a heavy passing emphasis.

He just doesn’t have the juice to get into the hall, IMO.

I would probably put Diggs or even McLaurin in the top 5 over Julio at this point.

Not really. The only knock against him is durability. When healthy he’s easily a top 5 talent.

Yeah I think Ridley has surpassed Julio, as well as those two you mention

Pretty sure it was Maddox on him most of the game, giving him 15-yard cushions.  I could be wrong — the bad CB play last year was universal to whoever the Eagles put out there

This is the game Jones let up chasing him to grab his hamstring. Then Maddox had to move outside until Sendejo decapitated him.

In no particular order:

Julio

Hopkins

Hill

Thomas

Evans

Keenan Allen

Diggs

DK

Cooper

Then you have guys like McLaurin, Landry, Jefferson, etc who have similar production and have the likes of Baker Mayfield, Kirk Cousins and Alex Smith on one leg throwing them the ball. Some of which are in year one or two. Kenny Golladay was better coming into this season.

Like I said, great receiver. Having him in the top 5 based on this season alone is nutty. Now if he does this the next year or two, fine.

🤔

Ill chime in but will not plan my day around the game. And i fully expect them to be awful.  Especially with the defense playing well last week i could see them laying an egg this week out of frustration with the offense

You said my list was a joke and then proceeded to list everyone on my list in "no particular order,” except Adams who you are clearly alone in thinking he’s not top 5.

Yeah, nice hot take bro.

Not many DT's in the hall. They give Cox a 67% chance. Based on the average HOF DT, they have 5 first team all pro's and 8 pro bowls. Cox would need a lot more than just what he has.

Yeah, nice hot take bro.

Go look up the numbers. Adams has cracked 1000 yards in once in his career with Aaron Rodgers.

Yeah, he's who Id start my franchise with.

Calling him top 5 based on this year's production is the very definition of a "hot take".

Michael Thomas is still (at least top 3) despite his "down year", imo.

Yeah, you have a valid point.  67% chance isn't too bad though.  If he has another 3 "Pro-Bowl" seasons with heavier sack numbers (It can happen, look at BG this year) I think it will help him.

That's a disgusting stat.  I don't even know if we can look this up, but I'm curious to see every team's pro bowlers out of the last 50 players drafted.

That’s amazing. Not the stat itself but the fact that howie still has a job.   Lurie needs to send him packing

Are you talking about our Adams? I think last year against you guys he kept us in that game.

Adams was injured in the game vs Eagles before halftime. So no he did not "Keep" you in the game. Actually before he was hurt, he shredded our DBs with 180 yards in the first half. So if he was not hurt then the Packers would have won that game with ease.

Sep 26, 2019 NFL Pedal Toe Sprain Adams suffered a turf toe injury on Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles and missed 4 games.
