Reading some of these comments is shocking.

The triumvirate of Wentz, Pederson, and Howie are to blame here. Stop overthinking this.

The problem is what's the best way to fix the franchise.  What's clear is that Howie has to go.  After that, Doug needs to revamp his OC staff and get a QB coach that pushes Wentz.  Even with those changes, my guess is that we will likely get a new HC in 2022 and Wentz may be gone after next season as well.

Lol 10 more yards. And being a rookie is irrelevant

It's only irrelevant because it hampers your argument. Of course it's relevant. Adams has played with Rodgers for 7 years. You don't think chemistry plays a factor? You don't think route running and learning the playbook plays a factor? You don't think getting used to NFL speed plays a factor?

Adams is a seasoned vet. Jefferson is just getting his feet wet. Of course it matters.

I'm liking the "vibes" from the 76ers this off-season.  Hopefully it translates to the court during the regular season and playoffs. :76:

Embiid has been a marshmallow for the past two years; unless that changes the Sixers are going nowhere.  Less 3-PT attempts and more smashing people on his way to dunking the ball is what’s needed

so according to you, Jim Harbaugh is a better rusher than Bo Jackson

Yeah, not at all the conversation taking place or even comparable.

Yes Adams is a seasoned vet. He’s also far superior to Jefferson. Just because JJ is a rookie and may turn out to be as good or better than Adams is irrelevant, we’re talking about here and now, and Adams is clearly a top 5 WR. Jefferson is not.

Adams has had a history of good to great numbers, limited mostly by injuries. Even this year, with injuries, he’s still posting ridiculous numbers. It’s not even arguable that he’s a top 5 WR based on this years stats. Using just a tiny bit of logic to combine his previous success with this years, it’s a no brainer to say he’s a top 5 WR in the league

Just now, Bacarty2 said:

yes it is.

Stat wise. Harbaugh has more rushing yards than Bo. So clearly(according to you) theyre not only in the same conversation, Harbaugh is betetr

Yes, because talking about two WRs as it pertains to a single season, which we clearly are, is the same thing as comparing a handful of games to an entire career.

Can you actually not tell the difference?

If he's far superior than why are their numbers even in the same stratosphere?

And again, I'm not arguing he's top tier this season. I'm saying as a whole, through the scope of the last few seasons, he isn't.

I think he got Sydney Jones cut.

Considering how badly he was torched by those same Packers a few weeks ago he might end up being cut again

I see that swoop kid is still in here trying to defend his awful take that Adams is not a top 5 receiver. he must have forgot what he did to us last year - 180 yards in 3 quarters before injury

You’d have to go back to 1961 to see an Eagles WR put out that type of production in 4 quarters let alone 3.

So wait, you get to move the goal posts how ever you see fit, but when I back up your theory over a larger sample size you have an issue with it.

To say Adams isnt a top 5 guy is laughable. To compare a guy who has 25 more catches and double the touchdowns is laughable.

Dudes gonna have close to 4000 yards over the last 3 seasons lol

Who's moving goal posts? We have never compared the two aside from what they've both accomplished thus far in a singular season.

Again, were talking about one season. You're comparing 35 games (however many it actually was) to what? 12, 13? Years for Harbaugh.

If you can't see the difference than please refrain from the discussion. It's entirely different.

They aren’t tho. How do you not understand that?

Adams 16 games - 131 catches 1614 yards 19 TDs

JJ 16 games - 76 catches. 1335 yards 9 TDs

based on their current season averages. Not even close

I do see a difference. For the millionth time, I'm not saying that Adams isn't better. I'm saying that you and a few others view him as top 5, no question, no other answer is acceptable

When a rookie on a worse team with an infinitely worse QB puts up similar numbers, in a similar amount of snaps, maybe pump the breaks on the one being one of the best in the game by a country mile.

Yes. 25 more receptions. 11 is more than 6. I can see these things. They aren't nearly as different as some of you pretend...and Jefferson is one example.

You guys are arguing over a range of like 3 spots

Yeah, that's why he's pleased with adding shooters in order to create more space for him underneath.  That's exactly what he was referring to.

Are these shooters going to help him not take games off in the playoffs?  They’d have beaten the Raptors if Embiid was dressed for every game.

and about two guys that are not on the Eagles.

Whether Adams is a top 5 or top 10 WR... he's still going to get a ton of yards on Sunday against us lol

I'm on the Doug needs to go too train. He may not suck but I feel he needs a change of scenery

I want to see Wentz with a different coach and system

Arguing over a bunch of players the Eagles don’t have and won’t have.

I'm sick and tired of hearing this about everyone. The change of scenery needs to be here.

Last I'll say on it. I know he was banged up last season and missed a few games. Having said that, among all pass catchers, last season Adams:

Was 18th in receptions

110th in catch percentage

30th in yards

63rd in yards/reception

45th in touchdowns

Yep, slam dunk top 5 no questions asked.

It’s been 3 straight years now headed in the wrong direction.  This is a unique case where the franchise QB has a mega deal kicking in next season, and the QB-head coach partnership isn’t working.  Letting this offense go on for another season will cause irreparable harm.

Adams was out for a ton of the season last year with Turf toe.

I mean, he played in 12 games. I know he missed time, but he didn't exactly miss 12 games.
