Probably not the time to bring this up but Robby Anderson is 4th in the league in receptions, 9th in yards and somehow only has 2tds.

Half of a high TD total comes from a particular player’s ability in the red zone.  The other half comes from being part of a good offense.

Anderson has certainly never had access to the later.

People wanted Mims in the 1st? That’s crazy. To be fair we don’t know what Mims is capable of because if there’s one offense worse than the Eagles, it’s the Jets. Reagor to me was the safer pick between him and Ruggs who I viewed as boom or bust. My criticism of Reagor has less to do with him and more to do with what Jefferson is capable of. Anyone without an agenda can see Reagor isn’t trash, he just could use a coach/qb who helps him out a bit instead of putting him in terrible positions

I was also pretty high on Hamler and have not heard his name all season

Hamler isnt in an ideal situation in denver either, poor qb play another rookie receivers without benefit of preseason along side him.

I've said this before guys like jefferson and claypool lamb are in ideal situations where they aren't expected to be, the guy.

Thielen and cook take a lot of pressure if jefferson, with thielen jefferson averages about 17 yards a catch and catches around 70% of his targets, without theilen, 10 yards per catch a little over 50% catch rate.

Schuster, dionte johnson  a solid run game take a lot off claypool.

If course lamb had cooper Elliot and was allowed to just be a slot WR.

You put jefferson in Philly ask him to be the guy in this dumpster fire and I'm guessing he struggles as well.

And for what it's worth, you all will see what these WR's look like with a decent QB throwing them the ball once Wentz is inevitably benched.  Hopefully sooner than later.

With DeSean Jackson, Goodwin, Jeffery, JJAW and Fulgham?

Yes, without question at least two of those 8 would be having exponentially better seasons if our QB could complete a pass over 10 yards with any sort of consistency.  Without question.

We can pass the blame around.  I’m not interested in defending Wentz.  They are all making each other worse.

But every single WR you just mentioned either predictably sucks or is predictably unavailable...or both.

Anderson would have been a great pickup, without a doubt.  Hindsight is 20/20.

I was more expecting him to have 4 longer type of tds. That’s usually on the jets how he got it. I give them credit though. He isn’t just a homerun threat which is what people thought about him with the jets. He’s shown he’s able to do a lot more

Well that’s even more depressing you mention rookies benefiting from strong running games because I heard we got a guy who is top 5 in ypc and a head coach who gives him 2 carries in the second halves of ball games

What makes that more dumbfounding is the eagles had 6 runs with running back in the first half of the Seahawks game. Got 5 or more yards on 5 of 6. And they weren’t ones were sanders or scott made people miss. They had nice holes to run through.

Yea but he costs like $8M we need to give JP to get out of bed every morning

Every Wentz snap is a step closer to a top 10 pick.

The jury was still out on JJAW and Jeffery has been a great WR with any QB not named Carson Wentz.

I mean, some had hope.  I was about 50/50 on him at the time....most guys improve their 2nd year in the league.

Pederson just absolutely refuses to take the pressure off of Wentz. There has to be some truth to the idea that he just doesn’t like that kid or no longer wants to coach him.

Part of me thinks it's that they don't want to have a $100 million game-manager at QB and they want him putting up Mahomes types of numbers to legitimize their decision.

Or he believes so strongly in Wentz that he expects him to magically be good again.

Or nobody has a plan and they are all just going through the motions for the last month

I think it’s just Andy type philosophy. You pass to get a lead and run to salt it away. Problem is the passing game since the first giants game has regressed every week and they get behind so by that point you can’t run the ball cause you are down double digits

Over/under on quarters played is 5

I'll take the under on that one.

That’s where the smart money is.

Looks to be the most likely scenario.

This past week, I think I finally turned the corner to hoping this team losses out.  Just typing this out... makes me sad.

So, I'm going to cook a NY Strip steak, eat it... and try to make the bad feelings go away.

I think his hands are tied to an extent.  On one hand he wants Carson to get out of his funk and on the other hand he wants his team to win.  Sooner or later he's going to need to make a decision.  Especially now that he knows Lurie is "ok" with seeing what Hurts can do.
