Made the NY Strip... was delicious.   Wife is happy.  Son is happy.  I am still sad.    Dog is happy though... (I bought bone-in... so she got to strip the bones of the meat at the end.    I spoil that ****.)

I can't believe I got censored for that.

Over/under on quarters played is 5

I was just thinking we really need someone to put Reagor on the bench and Fulgham on the practice squad

Well we could use desean to come back and play and send fulgham to the bench so he can see it from another perspective.

I saw you mention it earlier so I made one myself.  It was delicious.  ^_^

I’ve been out all day. Sorry if this already was posted.

I just read this too. He says the same things we've all been saying. Disconnect between the front office and HC, poor roster management, bad contracts, bad drafting, poor gameplanning, etc. In addition to the obvious guys who won't be here in 2021 (Alshon, DeSean, Ertz), he thinks Barnett is a foregone conclusion to not be here after this year to meet the cap ceiling. He also thinks we'll actually double down on the Wentz investment in an attempt to make the cap work the next few years.

The Eagles have always been kind of tone deaf.

Doug and Howie probably think that bringing back Desean is a boost for the team and for fans who have missed seeing him make plays as an Eagle.

Reality, obviously, is that they just need to not go back there, ever.  Exhuming his corpse and plugging him back into the offense for a few quarters is just going to make them more of a laughingstock.

See you guys are using the blog all wrong.  I dump every ounce of my Eagles frustration on all of you.  When I step away from the keyboard, my Eagles troubles melt away.

I’d say these are all good bets to happen

Probably not the time to bring this up but Robby Anderson is 4th in the league in receptions, 9th in yards and somehow only has 2tds.

Should have got him instead of Jackson

No  Not worth it

But how long after would he stay? If he didn’t want to be a HC and stayed a OC then this would be very tempting

Tempting. I think we’d still go all the way if it was Wentz

Very tempting. Wentz needs those type of weapons so badly. But he’d still be dealing with crap play calling and no Oline. At least with those 2 they’d catch the ball

Blue...I don’t think that team was going to go much further...even winning that game was an uphill battle with that catch.

Red...Reich was gone for a HC job sooner or later anyway.

Purple...maybe they win anyway, but probably they don’t.  It took a historically great SB performance.  While Wentz was incredible that year, you can’t assume Brady, Manning, or Mahomes in their prime have a game like that on any given Sunday.  I don’t see this one as tempting at all.

Black...if they drafted Metcalf they wouldn’t have drafted a WR at all in round 1 of this past draft.  I probably would have still done it, but I doubt they go in that direction.

I'll take the blue pill.

If they win that game and go on to win the NFCCG, then another Super Bowl, Foles would have (without question) remained as the franchise QB, we would have traded Wentz for a myriad of draft picks and we could have built a strong, young and inexpensive team around Foles.  Foles would have likely continued to flourish in this system and we could have likely been a perennial contender.

Yes, blue pill, please.

Red pill pls.

Blue. The only one I feel confident would have worked out. This is a very consistent take from me. The Eagles come back and win that game, beat the Rams, and the Pats SB rematch was a toss up.

Dummies. Take all of them. Nothing says pick one.

So I woke up this morning, and listened to a bit of the latest BGN podcast (bad idea). They really think Lurie is going to stick by Howie. My god I hope not but I think he will. I will be livid if that's the case.

I'll be doing other things in the Fall on Sundays if Howie survives this.  This is Chip Kelly's last year implosion level failure.  Chip wanted all the power and destroyed the team in one season.  Howie wanted all the power.  Yes, he got a Super Bowl with magic beans or something, but literally since Feb 5th, 2018 those beans went rotten and just as every move worked leading up to the Super Bowl... every move since then has failed.  There really isn't one I'd point to and say, "Yup, that was a success."

That is the worst move in recent years.  The FO and coaches should know better than the fan base that DJax is not the same player as before.  His performance speaks volume about living in the past and wishful thinking for a miracle of declining player.

Been one miss after another.

What are the odds Peters does this? 1%?
