How long have you been watching football?

Every major starter for this team over the past 30+ years has been benched at some point due to performance.  EVERY SINGLE ONE came back and had success.

Jaworski, Cunningham, McNabb, Foles and Vick.

lol every one of them did start agaim for us, and then got benched again or traded away. None ended up being the frabchise qb MVP type for US after the benching.

ill go one further, give me one league MVP qb who got benched by his team, then came back to again be MVP type again for the same team

i cant think of anyone

Was nice to see.  Can't figure why it took so long to put him back for a punt.  Ridiculous.

I think there are valid reasons for it, but regardless, I’m happy to see him flash today.

cam? no, thats why Panthers moved on from him.

Wilson is not a running qb, he is a qb who can run.

Watson? jury still out, seems like a qb who can run

Murray, we will see, 1st year

Cam is a SB QB who had a bad injury. He absolutely has had a successful NFL career, and Wilson didn’t just come out of college as an amazing QB either. They gave him time to develop. I’m not saying Hurts is the answer, but saying running QBs can’t be successful is just wrong.

Pretty sure he was laughing because it was a horrendous call.

I’ve never seen players laugh at bad calls. They are usually, you know, angry.

Can we at least acknowledge that we finally got a great Reagor outing?

great?

It was good but I wouldn't say great.  He clearly made some route running mistakes.  Made a nice 30+ yard catch and the punt return but to be honest that was more of good blocking than it was him looking great.  I hope he can build off of it but when the WR have 2 catches with 6 minutes left that's a big big problem.

I think Hurt’s arm got hit on that INT right?

Yes. He couldn’t follow through.

Eh the Cardinals defense doesn’t have a pass rush. It’s been an issue since Jones went down. They also have been struggling on offense. Don’t let the 28 points today fool you. They got a garbage time touchdown. Over the last 3 weeks their offense has been averaging 22ppg. But really it’s skewed cause of the garbage td today. Otherwise it’s closer to 19.7ppg

They haven’t played the Eagles yet.

Except we need him to improve

Isn't happening. Wentz has been on a standing 8-count for pretty much the entire season and hasn't played one great game all season long. He's mentally cooked. There's no QB controversy moving forward. It's Hurts the rest of the way.

That’s not always the WR’s fault.

Yeah but he really can’t sling it anymore. They destroyed the chargers today and Herbert looked atrocious. So Herbert the last two weeks against the bills and Patriots has come crashing back down to earth. He didn’t look good in either. Was awful today.

It’s another pathetic outing by him though. He had been stacking them up all year.

It was another pathetic effort by everyone

The Eagles cant block, run, pass... really anything.  They had a couple guys run into each other in the back field.

The narrative of this season is written at this point

The only thing that changes the situation is if Hurts plays pretty well.  Then the conversation changes entirely anyway

I can't imagine what they were.  If Ward was competent, then an argument could be made, but he was horrendous.  They put Reagor back there game 1, he bobbled the first one, and then he got pulled, meanwhile Ward struggled the whole time.   Reagor is dangerous and its a chance to let his athleticism shine through... less thinking and more instinct.

Wrong.

McNabb went on to win through the playoffs and an  NFCCG after getting benched and Nick Foles was not only benched here, he was let go, benched in Tennessee then came back here and won the Super Bowl as Super Bowl MVP.

No one cares that Doug still doesn't run the ball anymore lol it's all about Hurts now

Yup.

Not a great outing, but made some plays.  Showed some spark.  It was encouraging.

I’m expecting Hopkins to go off. Actually I would say Hopkins would go off but for whatever reason Kingsbury just refuses to go to Hopkins more than seven targets per game. This game they were forced to cause they got behind by double digits. He had 13 targets which is the most he’s had on 5 weeks. He was averaging just 7.5 over his last 4 games with a high of 8.

Man y’all just can’t be satisfied with anything

Whether to fire Howie and/or Doug should depend on the guy Jeff has to replace them. When your closest assistant is on the bubble, this may have to be that rare time when Jeff must make a personnel decision by himself. All I can do is hope he finds them(because these clowns a.s.).

Oh yeah. And all you 'Jalen Hurts can't make it' people actin like they know? Yeah. Y'all can give it a break. You can see for yourself.

It was the correct call.

You can call that on just about any offensive possession.  He barely touched the DB.  Go back and watch it.

Reagor is behind on offense right now. It’s plain as day. That’s a big reason to take PR off his plate. And that’s not including his labrum tear and thumb injury.

and then was let go to the skins,  lol. he dis not become the franchise player after the benching. yeah he won some games and had one decent season afterward. THATS IT

Lots of wishful thinking from the anti wentz crowd...
