Don’t bother I’m not gonna read it because it’s probably just gonna be a bunch of BS that you concocted into a ridiculously awful narrative like you typically do.

Ok.  Thanks for saving me the time.

If I'm Wentz, I'm in Howie's office demanding a trade.

Why?  On what basis?  I'm not giving up on Wentz but he's been beyond awful.  He needs to sit.

If he was playing OK and was benched then he has a reason to complain.  But how can he justify asking for a trade now when he's been terrible?

Hurts had to start or the entire roster would have revolted.

Playing the Saints as your 1st game though? Oh boy, that's ROUGH.

This also means we're likely going 2-2 to end the year.

I think we could easily lose out. This team is a mess.

I wonder if Wentz has started his last game as an Eagle.

A lot of people say because of his salary he has to start next season. That's asinine, there's no logic to that at all. It means they have to do everything in their power to try and fix him and get him right, but if they can't do that, then he doesn't have to start next season just because of the money he makes. If Hurts plays well, then at the very least they should be able to battle it out in camp.

It's a shame it has come to this.

I agree it's a shame and I think anything is possible.  There are more questions than answers at this point as to Wentz's future.  I still think it's likely that Wentz starts again this season.  I am not confident that Hurts is all of the sudden going to fix the bigger problems the offense has had with playcalling and personnel. There's no doubt that this is likely going to result in the end of Wentz's time with the team.  He may be here one more season but I would be surprised if he was here in 2022 absent some sort of dramatic turn around and strong playoff performance next season.

If I wanted to steal your money Id make a wager that Wentz is here next year.  But Im just too good of a person

You'll learn soon enough

Then why so butthurt just sit back relax and wait?

I wonder if Doug will call a cool trick play where Carson comes under center for a snap and has Hurts split out wide, just for him to run a rinky dink option play.

The last thing the Eagles need going into an offseason is a genuine QB controversy...choosing Hurts at this point is hard to come back from

Great asset management.

Not to mention the disastrous personnel decisions, draft blunders, horrendous trades, and asinine extensions. Plus the team is in cap hell next year. This is going to take years to fix.

Key words "for this week".

If we lose to the Saints, and that has a 90% probability of happening, we can easily go to Wentz next week vs. Arizona.

Just got a text alert from the Eagles confirming the move.

Are you on a text group with Doug, Howie and Jeff?

Wentz sucks and should have been benched weeks ago.

As always thanks for your solid contributions.

No problem. Enjoy the rest of your day filled with your deflections and narratives.

Like Kellerman said "Wentz is over.”

Scary how spot on that guy has been about Wentz for the past season and a half

Howie booted me from it when I asked Jeff to fire him.

That statement doesn't seem all that definitive. Just name him the starter for the season. Enough of the bs, just finish these last 4 games so we can end this garbage season.

Important: Jeff McLane is bad at this job.

Like I said, just about everyone acknowledges there are issues with Wentz.  It's whether or not they agree with the cause.

Dude, he just gave 3 clear examples that is not the case, and there is many others out there.  As I stated in my last to you, the local Seahawks guys don't see Carson Wentz as even one of the top 5 issues with this team.

You got your wish though, Hurts is the starter.  Please remember, don't use those EXCUSES that you said we are not allowed to use for Carson.  He will make the line block better, he will make the play calling better, he will make the WR's get open and catch, he will make the defense make a stop after a score.

I don't see how that can happen...you can't bench Wentz twice in the same season

I'm pretty sure there are tons of teams who would bid on Wentz if he was traded and the Eagles ate the cap. ESP painted a decent game plan. 49ers and colts would be interested.

Wouldn't be shocked to get a 1st and more for him. Could go corner and receiver in the 1st.

Doubt this all happens.

Good for him

And if facing the top team in the NFC won't bring clarity to the issues on offense, I'm not sure what will.

And all the conspiracy theorists that assumed Doug didn't want to start Hurts because could show that the major issues with the offense have to do with him and the rest of the team....well, wrong again.

I mean that would be the Eagles way this year. Hence why Jason peters is somehow still on the football field.

McLane from the top rope
