If true dont be surprised if there is more of an effort to get some balance and run the ball.

It would make a lot of sense to 'protect the rookie QB'...

Eagles won 9 games last year, and will win 9 games next year with a different coaching staff. Lock it in

They will also have different players. Lock it in.

No one is changing the narrative here except YOU.

YOU said Pederson wouldn't start Hurts because it could show that the offensive woe's are his fault and the rest of the team's (and Howie's) fault.  YOU SAID THAT.

Now you drumming up additional excuses.  I'm done here.  Have someone else read your dreadfully long winded, nonsensical responses.

Lmao

I did say that. And he didn’t start on that week. I said he didn’t want to put him out there  because it showed that the offense does struggle it would reflect poorly on him. I also said they should start them against Dallas or Arizona because he probably would have success and then doug could say look I got the offense back on track. Interesting how you left that part off.

Just like your assumption and narrative that Alshon Jeffery was going to come back and the wide receiving corps was going to be ok. or relying on DeSean Jackson he was gonna be good when he came back. Or that we didn’t need Robbie Anderson. Or that DeSean Jackson over the last two years has been better then Robby Anderson. Or the fact when we had the discussion about bottom five wide receiving groups I brought up all those teams and the Eagles would right now be at the bottom five still.

Please go get wasted again, come back on here crying like a little baby and then start with your we should’ve kept nick foles. And then start deflecting blame about doug.

Good to see the majority still believe in Carson.

Really?   Even though the roster didn't revolt at Peters getting put out there week after week being a turnstile, who demanded more money to be a bad LT, rather than a putrid RG?

Peters is playing on a dislocated toe. He's going to the HOF. It's not the same.

Actually he is 100% correct.

you just had multiple people call you out about it today about the concussion thing last week

i’m still waiting for you to prove your assumption was correct. You have yet to prove it wasn’t Jeffrey lurie who made the decision and doug was forced into it. Yet you seem to think your assumption has correctly been proven. Amazing.

If the Eagles are supremely stupid on levels never before known to man, and they do decide to trade Wentz, they'll have plenty of takers...

Colts are the obvious.  Saints would be in.  Steelers would be in. Patriots would be in.  Bears would be in. Jaguars would be in.  Niners, maybe.  Lions might sneakily be in play.

Peters demanded more money to switch positions when the team needed him to... then proceeded to suck there before the toe.

Chris Simms, who has plenty of NFL sources, says he has heard that Doug wants out.

I think it's true, but a tricky situation for Doug. He wants to be a HC, so he can't just resign or that looks pretty rough.

JT The Brick on his radio show last night says that he's talked to Sal Pal, who he says is good friends with Doug, and it "doesn't look good" for the chances of him being brought back -- whether Doug has been told anything or just a feeling he has -- who knows.

Objectively, a coaching change needs to be made.  I think going back and studying what happened last winter when Graham Harrell chose USC over the Eagles provides some insight into what has been going on

Imagine if he went to one of those teams.  We would look like the most inept franchise in the NFL when he got back on track and that team was a Super Bowl favorite.

Wentzdefenders should at least be willing to admit, speculatively, that IF the passes got out faster and more accurately; It's just possible more passes would've been caught, receivers and offensive strategy would succeed, sacks would be avoided, and our record would be better, thus avoiding so much condemnation. I'm not saying any of those outcomes were guaranteed if Wentz performed better, as the rest of the team's performance has been at least questionable as well. Only that there was no way possible that those outcomes COULD occur if Wentz DIDN'T perform better.

I'm gonna guess dumbarse Doug will run the ball and call quicker developing plays.

Proving once again he will do stuff to help out every QB not named Carson Wentz.

I feel like RTK in the end of all this might actually be correct. It pains me to say that.

The only thing that would redeem us is if we got an insane, historic, RG3-level haul of picks for him.

Otherwise, yeah, we'd be the forever clowns of the league.

Trouble is SalPal is an idiot.

We’re going to be the laughing stock of the league.

I would be 100% in agreement with RTK if he was involved in this discussion right now.  This fan base has treated him like crap since Foles won the SB, and we are gonna seriously regret it when he goes somewhere else.

Someone needs to make a blog about the all 22. I will post pictures  of each offensive play the Eagles run. And we will count how many slow developing plays that were call over the course of the season with an offensive line that had 11 different starting combinations.

And then I will go to the Green Bay Packers and do another games and post the pictures of how many slow developing plays they run with a good offensive line and good weapons. When it is grossly in favor of the Eagles we can then discuss why A team built better is doing it less than what the Eagles are trying to do with a worse team.

Lurie gonna clean house. He’ll be quiet for a few more weeks ... when Black Monday arrives Doug, Howie and the entire coaching staff will be given pink slips.

Let's hope.

No need.  I watch football all day Sunday, watch Thursday, Monday, whenever it is on.  I don't need an analysis of what I am seeing.  Our offense is stale, old, not fooling anyone.

If Wentz is benched for the rest of the season and a new HC comes in, it will be like Chip Kelly starting Vick in his first year here.

We all know it won't end well, but we'll pretend to be excited.

Sadly, you are likely correct.
