Honestly I expect Hurts to be able to move the o. He'll make a read maybe 2 and then run like hell.

I don’t think so. I think they’ll just have Jenkins spy him and we won’t have any creative counter punch. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jenkins calls out the plays ahead of time tbh, seems like nothing really changed from last year.

Doug Pederson is the coach of THE ENTIRE team.  When I stand up for Doug it's because I'm also standing up for the rest of the team.  Do you really not understand that??

Do you not understand you deflect and make the same excuses you complain about with wentz apologist for Doug? Literally you do the same thing you b***h about with wentz apologist with Doug. Again kettle meet pot. You can’t complain about wentz apologist and then do the exact same thing.

I said they should tag and trade him, you said they can not, I sited exampled back to 2008 of it being done.  You are adding your own narrative to it.  Does not matter what the policy is, it is not enforced, and teams flaunt it in the face of the NFL what they are doing.

Bro, I said they wouldn't do it.

And although one of the reasons was that it was "technically illegal" (even though they could get away with it) the main reason was that I didn't think the organization would put Foles in that sort of predicament after what he did for the organization.  And guess what?  I was right about that too.

The rest of the team sucks too... or have you not been watching the pre-snap penalties, the unforced errors, the blown assignments, the dropped passes, the fumbles in the red zone, and Doug's continued lack of commitment to the running game, even in a one score game?

A few of you need to stop with the I told you so's that trail back 4 seasons...  We've got a full blown new QB controversy to discuss, and it has nothing to do with Nick Foles.

Maybe the Eagles can invite Vick, McNabb, and Foles to camp next year.

Bruh... we got a whole new QB now.  Everything will be different.

I wasn't discussing what they would do, I was discussing what they could do and how it would benefit the Eagles.

Should never have come to that.  Should have taken the Browns 2018 pick and gotten Nick Chubb or Darius Leanord.

Oh we sparking now.

Dude, he just gave 3 clear examples that is not the case, and there is many others out there.  As I stated in my last to you, the local Seahawks guys don't see Carson Wentz as even one of the top 5 issues with this team.

You got your wish though, Hurts is the starter.  Please remember, don't use those EXCUSES that you said we are not allowed to use for Carson.  He will make the line block better, he will make the play calling better, he will make the WR's get open and catch, he will make the defense make a stop after a score.

Hahaha - good luck with this.  Let the narratives and agendas begin in favor of the new QB:

1) It was his first start.

2) It was against one of the best defenses in the NFL.

3) He had to run because the line can't protect for more than 1 second.

4) We only ran the ball 10 times.

5) That pick 6 was because the receiver ran the wrong route.  Not because the QB has a limp noodle for an arm.

6) He couldn't take the check down because DP had every pass catcher run a slow developing route.

7) The receivers weren't creating any separation today.  In all 12 other games, these studs were open on every play.  Here's 2-3 clips total to prove my point.

I could just keep it going, but we will get a lot of the same truth spewed right back at us from all the folks that have a clear Wentz agenda.

Wouldn’t mind losing 35-34

what? vague answer?

Face it bud. the majority of this team will be back. They will just be fine, 9 wins with the likes of Ertz, Wentz, Sanders, DG, Reagor, Lane, Etc

Lane isn't here right now, neither is Brooks, Peters will be gone and its possibly Mailata goes to swing tackle, alshon will not be a starter and I hope ward isn't either. Ertz will be gone. That's a few just on offense

In true Eagles fashion, the organization shitcans the most talented of Wentz, Roseman, and Pederson.

I'm excited for the Saints game now but there is no denying this is a sad time for this team.

We already went through this.  I think there's still potential here and you don't.  I'll wait until the season ends before forming an ultimate conclusion.  Is that fair enough?

And I agree that we should start discussing the N.O. game instead of all this back-and-forth.

It's impossible to know how much of this is on Doug until we know exactly how far Howie is going calling the shots.

Doug's certainly not doing great with what he does have say over.  But exactly how much he's hamstrung by Howie is the big question.

The only thing I can confidently say for sure is that Howie is by far and away the #1 problem.  Logically Doug would be next on the list, but how far that gap is between him and Howie we still don't know.

We'll have to wait for Doug"s next book, Clueless.

People keep saying this is one of 32 openings so it’ll be attractive. You’re missing the point. I’m talking about the Eagles job compared to the other openings.

It’s not like I’m worried about the Eagles going into the 2021 season without a HC. I’m more worried about not landing the guy we want because our organization is a cluster F right now.

Doug has already declared the season over when he named Hurts the starting QB, by his own words.

As for the other... many here believe that there's still potential in Wentz, and you don't.   So, let's let it all rest.   I think we can all agree that the combination of Doug and Wentz is likely irreparable at this point, and one and/or both will be gone next year.  I believe Wentz stays and Doug goes.   You feel the opposite.   No need to take it further.

Wentz is not going anywhere.  It is financially impossible.

What you just said could be the same thing said about doug apologists. You do that. You refuse to admit it. But everyone on here continues to call you out on it.

I'm going to refrain from discussing it much in here because it's obviously a sensitive topic.  I'll keep most of it in the Wentz and/or Hurts thread from now on...as long as I'm not engaged in here about it.

They could technically trade him for around a 35 mil cap hit from my understanding...and somehow, it would free up a little cap space as well.  I just learned that yesterday in this very thread, I believe.

I could see it being bieniemy.

So they would not cut bait with Alshon Jeffrey, a locker room cancer who is shot because of 15 million, but the are gonna trade Carson and leave a 34 million dollar dead cap hit to save $ 890,000.
