He wouldn't have to play ball much on that move.  All it does is take his guaranteed salary and his roster bonus and converts it to a signing bonus... He'd actually get more money at once this way... and wouldn't have to wait for the weekly game checks... He'd get it all in one big check...

He really loses nothing to make that happen.

Ah, I confused myself with what you meant by "drop the max of dead weight they can". Thought you mean drop all those pesky option/roster/guarantees from his contract in future years.

I mean drop the players I outlined earlier.. Malik Jackson, Brandon Graham, Zach Ertz, etc.   A lot of those guys have empty years with prorated bonuses... and if the Eagles dump them all for 2021, they can take the hit then (for the same or slightly less) and not carry any dead into 2022... which would offset the dead added for Wentz to free up money in 2021.

Quite a few lol 🙄

Or they sit them behind overpaid vets all season!  What better way for Jamarr Chase to learn than to observe on the sidelines while JJAW runs the wrong route and runs into Dallas Goedert?  What better way for Penei Sewell to learn than to sit behind Jason Peters when they inevitably bring him back?  "Here's how you become a HOF LT while voluntarily exiting every single game."

My bad.  I thought he retweeted it because the tweet was showing on his page on the screenshot.  Didn't realize it was under "likes" on his page.

So now that you get it, first team leader has come out for Team Wentz, well I guess the second after Brandon Graham's comment last week.

This team is gonna go into full meltdown and poor little Jalen Hurts is gonna get caught in the crossfire.

Have people heard the Aaron Rodgers comments? He said he made sure to speak with him away from mics. Makes it seem like he trashed Wentz's situation.

Most likely told him to get his ass out of here. The team gave him zero support in way of Oline and Wr's, and the HC wouldn't run the freakin ball. They ruined his career here.

I feel bad for both Wentz and Hurts.   The team did this to both of them.

Lol, Fulgham can’t even run clear outs at this point.

Jamar Chase please.

In other news... wife made chocolate chip cookies last night... the best ever.

She uses bread flour and melted butter.... which leads to gluten production in the flour and the chewiest cookies there are.  She even takes them out of the oven just a little early, and they stay soft and moist for as long as they last... about 2 days around here...

She must have made several hundred.

Im told that was Wentz fault. There was that one play where someone was open and Wentz didn't see him, and one otyher play where he overthrew a TE, so this is all wentz fault

This is just a misuse of personnel.  I mean it's terrible but I don't think this is all on Wentz.  It just looks likely a completely uncoached team.  I mean how do they continue to mess up on these details.

I’ve said these things for like 2 months now. When you watch the all 22 the route running by guys is awful at times. They can open at times too but they’re also awful on some of these routes. Last week Travis fulgham ran zigzags down the field 8 yards. That’s not even a route. Realistically our best route running receiver is Ward. If you go back and watch the last two weeks before the Packers he’s the guy that gets open the most down the field.

Then we run some slow developing plays with an offensive line that has Jason peters and Matt pryor who aren’t good. We’ve also missed chances when WRs are open cause Matt useless pryor can’t block. Even seumalo was not good this past week

Carson adds to all this because his mechanics are not very good or consistent and misses open wide receivers when they do get open. So looks even worse that way we are getting guys open we can’t function.

I have no clue what McLeod is doing at times. The 52 yard reception DK Metcalf did he take a vacation in the middle of the game because he was literally on an island doing nothing

Mills has been a complete failed experiment. He’s not good and neither is maddox.

the DL depending on week is either great or underwhelming.

even with singleton being an improvement our linebackers are not very good. They were responsible for 3 huge plays last week. they tend to be out of position

duce is in denial as the RBs blitz pick up and pass protection has been awful all year.

we refuse to use our best offensive weapon. He disappears for long stretches. It’s like at this point in the season don’t use him and preserve the wear and tear as we aren’t winning anything important.

There’s about another 10 things i could mention

I don't see any team trading for him unless he gets back out there and shows some sign of progress and that means cutting down his 4.88 seconds per pass attempt down to around 3 and until he gets his completion percentage a little higher and eliminates turnovers. Right now I don't think he has any trade value with this contract and with his year long lack of production.

He probably told him something along the lines of "you can do better" "it's all in your head"

"Tell Lurie to fire everyone and get you real coaches and weapons"

Hard to do when the spotlight is always on you and some jackwad reporter is trying to get a scoop.

Rodgers talks about it here, but also said that he wants to keep it private. He also talks about Hurts a little bit.

Fletch is a 9 year veteran of the team and he's played with Wentz for 5 years.  It was also recently reported that he talked to Wentz (during a flight home from a game maybe?) and I guess it was a "I've got your back, you can do it" type of talk.  (Total guess).   So it's not surprising Wentz is "his guy".  Wentz should be most of the team's guy as the franchise QB and as a leader.

But unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case if Fletch felt the need to show publicly  that he supports Wentz.  That leads me to believe there may be a good portion of players that will back up Hurts/Pederson, etc. (That was actually reported a while ago).   So yep, looks like we may have a QB controversy after all.

Yep they have Reagor and Fulgham running the route the other guy should be running.  Reagor should be blowing the top off and Fulgham coming in across the field.

I'd understand if some of the locker room likes Hurts and has his back (based on articles about this being a huge strength of his), but why would anyone have Doug P's back at this point?  He's setting this offense up to fail week in and week out.  Some of these clips look like these guys don't even practice.......at all.  This past week it almost looked like he was doing it on purpose.  I can't go that far yet, but if the reports are true and he wants out, I would have no interest in playing in this offense.

Last week I made pizza for the first time, including the dough. It was fantastic! I bought a pizza stone to get that good bottom heat, plus my oven has a pizza mode that only heats from the bottom. I've made more dough tonight that I'm leaving overnight, to have pizza tomorrow night.

And there is the kiss of death from the biggest idiot covering the Eagles.

No.  You put the slow guy in the clear and the fast guy running come backs...  and the guy who can't put a move on a corpse is the guy you put back for punts and runs the flanker screens.
