I would be surprised if the Eagles had 253 yards after the catch for the entire season.  I wish I was kidding, but I don't wanna look it up.

If it makes you feel any better, I did look it up, and Greg Ward is 12 yards away from leading the team in YAC.

Not true.  Go back and look for yourself, if you need to. You claimed he was an a-hole at practice without citing it as your opinion, but claiming it as fact, something that you must have witnessed, because there's never been a single article that says that (at least none that I've seen, or heard of).  Unless you have one, you are just making up your own narrative.  So, where is the evidence of him acting like an a-hole at practice.   Please, take your time, but do support your assertion.   And if you do have one, please let it be one with NAMES, not anonymous sources.

I remember saying imo, it may have been my post after that. Either way who cares? If you didn’t know it was my opinion in that post then you know now because I’ve made it clear several times since then. I’m not sure why you felt the need to go back 20 pages to find my post and play EMB lawyer but good on you brother.

If you run a WR screen 1000 times, the yardage begins to accumulate.

We will just use it on a kicker

We might need a new kicker.

Nah, when DeSean is healthy he's still a top WR, and one the most dangerous deep threats in the NFL. No one expected 16 games a year, but 12 was reasonable. The two previous seasons, he started 13 and 10 games. This season he should have been able to buy time for Reagor, and if Ertz is healthy (16 and 15 starts the previous two seasons), then the Eagles are fine. You expect and plan for injuries but not most of your offense.

Hurts should start b/c there is no reason to get Wentz beat up now that the playoffs are basically out of reach (have to run the table and have the Giants/Wash lose at least 2 games). Hurts gets experience that would help him as a backup next year. Same reason they should play as many young players as possible.

There's the issue... putting big resources into oft-injured aged players is exactly why the team is where they are...

I'm not talking about Desean in 2020... I am talking about him in 2019.  They should have traded for Anderson instead of Tate back in 2018, for that matter... because the cost would have been slightly more, but for a significantly younger and cheaper player.  And... they wouldn't have this issue in 2019 and 2020.   But, Howie tried to be smarter... get a 'bargain', and ended up costing us so much more.   Well done, Howie.

As for playing Hurts to protect Wentz... please.  I'll believe that the other dead weights aren't in the lineup when I see it.  If it was about that, then Doug comes out and says that Herbig is starting at RG over Peters and Fulgham will be getting all of the snaps that have been going to Alshon.  But... we'll see how it plays out on Sunday.   Should be a real puke fest.

Robby Anderson wasn't available last year, and while he'd been a good addition, he's taken a major jump away from the Jets, he's not really a deep threat, more of an intermediate route runner.

Anderson v Hargrave this year? Well, top pass rushing DTs are harder to find than WRs, and Hargrave is already graded as our second best pass rusher after a slow start.

The real problem was the Jeffrey extension precluded paying for another WR.

I'll always appreciate Malcolm Jenkins, but he was a declining player who wanted a raise. The Eagles said no, and Malcolm took less money from the Saints. So Howie was correct on his value.

If only our GM didn't guarantee 95% of his 2021 salary....

Anderson not a deep threat? I guess you haven’t watched him much. Anyone would take a major jump leaving the Jets. More of a reason to sign him.

Call it for what it is. Hargrave is another overpaid FA bust. Just like Malik Jackson.

What a ridiculous freaking contract that was.

my problem was never with letting Malcolm Jenkins go. My problem was with the Eagles not addressing the position in the draft year after year knowing Malcolm Jenkins was getting older and Mcleod contracts coming up. messed around for years knowing it was coming and then decided to just cut him and play Jalen Mills at safety because we think he might be able to play there. Even though he had not played there longer than a couple snaps the year before and just assumed he would naturally start playing well there. It was foolish to not have a plan of attack up to the end of days for Malcolm Jenkins. They grossly neglected the position for a year knowing that day was eventually coming

Did that really happen? WTF?

Our GM is probably checking himself about that

i’ll see my way out

1022 total YAC

across 15 players

Goedert leads the team, and is currently 93rd in YAC compared to the NFL

Jalen Hurts has more YAC than JJAW

Corey Clement has 3 yards less than DJAX

Zach Ertz allegedly has 44 but that doesn't seem believable

Would another team have drafted Hurts if we didn't? I'm asking if he missed an opportunity to start the season on a different team

Should only take 20 more flanker screens then.

Surely he would have been drafted.

He has 26 receptions, and always falls forward 1 to 2 yards after the catch, so that probably is accurate.

I think there was talk Dallas were really interested? I think general consensus was a third round pick for him.

Even that seems unbelievable.

Walter Football had him listed as the 7th best QB prospect with a 2nd to 4th round grade.

I didn't need to.  I remembered, because you claimed something to be fact that has no basis, I called you out on it and am seeing that after that you've tried to backtrack so that you don't have to actually say, "I made it up."

bye bye

Eagles needed to draft LBs who could add speed and upside to the LB group. So who do you draft and when?

Murray #23, Queen @28 are starting, that's pretty much it, not a lot of rookie LBs getting a lot of PT.

#27 Brooks 21 tackles

#60 Uche 3 tackles

#63 Gay 18 tackles

#74 Baun 6 tackles

#84 Lewis 3 tackles, 2 sacks

#87 Jennings 3 tackles

#97 Phillips 5 tackles

#98 Harrison 21 tackles

#102 Highsmith 16 tackles, 1 sack

#103 Taylor 7 tackles

#119 Walker 23 tackles

#132 Dye 10 tackles

#140 Quarterman 4 tackles

#162 Hudson 3 tackles

#178 Strnd (cut)

#183 Brown 4 tackles

#196 Bradley 5 tackles

If rumours are true, the Pats were hot on Hurts and their lack of QB pick afterwards tells a story doesn't it?

Potentially but they did also pass on him at first too.

People forget but there was also a rumor that the Eagles were flirting and thinking about taking Jordan love at 20. Adam caplan put that out there that they had interest in Jordan Love
