And the fact that he was basically as good as Vaiata in his second preseason game of his rookie season. It was pretty clear to anyone with a brain that he was going to be playing at a pro bowl level pretty quickly, and sure enough, that's where we are.

Whoa... not quite there yet.

Guess the RB's get another week off

We haven’t seen an Eagle play at a pro bowl level at any position in a bit; I think people forget what it looks like.

Cameron Johnston is pretty close right now.  lol

Thank god.

I really have no interest in trading Wentz this offseason. I’m prepared to go down with a sinking ship if necessary.

The next six months need to be about fixing him. He is too much ability and bankable production to discard after one disastrous season where he was let down by just about everyone involved with the team.

Doug said he's calling plays

Reagor's ceiling remains what everyone hoped when he was drafted...Steve Smith/Tyreek Hill.  I don't think he moves like those guys or has that kind of speed though.  That's an absolute ceiling that he probably won't hit.

More likely?  I hate to say it, but probably Percy Harvin.

Worst case remains Tavon Austin.

Forget Austin, I hated him b/c his size, should have been a late round pick - it's not being short (Scott), it's being small (Bloom). Means no matter how fast or elusive, you can be easily arm tackled. Guys like Westbrook and Sproles ran through arm tackles.

Harvin is a good choice for a floor, Smith the ceiling, Reagor is a little bigger than Smith but like him has more burst than straight line speed and has great body control (punt return was a clinic on setting up tacklers and sensing where the pursuit was coming from).

Jefferson is a better WR, Reagor has more big play potential, I suspect the thought process was they had a great possession receiver in Ertz (he's a H-back, not a true TE) but lacked a game breaker other than DeSean. Hightower is a true speed guy but struggles tracking the ball, Watkins? Fulgham is a possession receiver who needs work on beating the press and route running, but the hands and body control give him a shot at starting next year. Ward takes a lot of crap, but has improved this season in sensing tacklers after the catch and getting YAC, he's shown he's very good at getting separation underneath, key for a slot WR.

If you had a healthy DeSean and Jeffrey, this would be a great group of young WRs to develop for a year, but they're learning on the job - combined with a shaky OL, that's a recipe for disaster for any QB - but also means they'll be further up the learning curve going into the offseason.

I don't know if anyone caught it but Doug was joking around with one of them about play calling. Doug asked if one of the reporters wanted to call plays and Doug said well you'd just wanna run

What bugs me the most is Reagor taking plays off (according to the video of the G.B. game). As a rookie especially where do you come off doing that? Again what are they looking at when they watch film. Are these guys getting corrected for stuff like this?

He doesn't want to get fatigued like Sanders does.

You can "kick off" in the NFL after a safety, you just can't use a tee.

Just do it like we did as kids... have someone place the ball on their toe and hold it there, and pray that the kicker doesn't miss.  lol

He really is quite the D Bag this year.  Hopefully Wentz can survive this absolute train wreck that Howie is conducting and Doug is driving.

Peters is done for the season with a toe surgery

Herbig is RG

Peters has been done for about 2 years.   Can we finally turn the page now?

I'm not seeing Percy either. My guess is like a better version of Agholor minus drops and confidence issues.

It was foolish to even try to play him last week with that injury.

I was against bringing him back this offseason. Don't remember who all it was but people in here were fine with it

I thought we all knew it was Alshon

My question is was the speed that I saw during the Washington game a mirage? How about on the punt return? I don't think he's playing all out a lot of the time.

I think he is much faster than he appears....he looks like he is coasting, but he is absolutely  beating people's angles. His punt return and end around, I thought no way he takes the edge, but not only did he turn the corner,  he blew away everyone's angles...right by them...he has plenty of speed

People were discussing yesterday that they think he is a bad teammate / leader.  A group think it is more than Alshon.

So what’s his plan for Dillard?

I cannot envision Herbig as an OT.

Well, I could but it's not pretty.

Don’t worry I’m sure josina Anderson is sitting on an alshon story that should come out any day now
