Maybe a little less believing in some mythical plan for you and a little more nose to the grindstone and push yourself to goals, Carson.

Maybe the "mythical" plan is more important to him, because for a lot of us it's not "mythical" thank you very much! And if you are tired of it being shoved down your throat maybe you shouldn't shove your non belief down others.

I can believe and do a great job at work I'm sure he can as well.

I know he's had his injury issues but whatever happened to Lane being the LT when Peter's was finished?

Maybe someone figured out that many of the best pass rushers come from the right side of the offense.

Anyone ever think about Jim Caldwell as HC?  People were talking about him as an OC when Groh was fired.  He seems like he works well with QBs.  Maybe Marvin Lewis as DC?

"God has a plan" is basically the equivalent of saying, "Everything happens for  a reason"

It has little, if anything, to do with him giving God the responsibility and/or blame for his play/performance.

It's more along the lines of, "This happened and I'll get through it."

I think he has too many health issues.

Chip Kelly went 10-6  for 2 seasons. Then went 6-9. Your point?

Hey guys, Derek Carr worshipper @rstarter has returned.

A little reminder for him about how much Nick Foles sucks compared to Derek Carr.

Yeah, because Carson has always been accused of taking the easy way and not working extremely hard.    Come on, now BigEFly.  Your bias is showing on this one... dramatically.

Let me help you...

Here's the whole thing in one spot...

Jason Kelce on Carson Wentz: "The moment he came in his rookie year, he transformed our offense and that’s not just as a player...
"that’s as him as a person, that’s the intelligence he brings, the athleticism he brings, the competitiveness he brings made a tangible...
"difference in practice every day and on game day. So it’s kind of hard to believe we’re at this point, to be honest with you.”

Doesn't seem like Jason is in any way calling out his effort or willingness to push himself and put his nose to the grindstone.
And if anyone on this team is going to tell it like it is, it's Kelce.

Now sure... you can interpret that last sentence anyway you wish...  but, I'll use another quote from Kelce to define what I think he means:

Whole thing:

Kelce: "This is ultimately a culmination of a lot of failures on offense...This comes down to more of a failure of every position...
"including coaches, to facilitate a functioning offense. That’s the biggest story here, not that Jalen Hurts is picked and there was...
"some sort of internal battle and struggle going on with Carson Wentz. I don’t buy that.”

Pretty much that Carson has played better than Russel since week 10. Not that hard to figure out.

So you're saying he'd be able to relate to the players?

And that no one in Seattle is calling for the back up, or trading him after the season.

I’m so confused on people here with Wentz. In 2017 people were comparing him to Aaron Rodgers. But this year when both QBs get a backup drafted high instead of another weapon, Rodgers losing his mind and is on an MVP like run, while Wentz folded. But now "he’s not Aaron Rodgers” that’s exactly who we thought he was though?! Someone ELITE, physically and mentally. Seems like he’s lost both at the moment

Foles is a great, fantastic human being from my perspective as a previous NFL fan. I wish him nothing but good things, both inside and outside the gridiron, and as he continues with his NFL career.

Despite all this PFF and blog hype, I actually don't think Mailata is playing all that well.  To my eyes, it looks like he's consistently getting beaten around the edge.  I'm still excited about his future here, but I don't think he's playing as well as he's getting credit for.

He’s not getting beat.  He is taking the DE past the QB and staying between the DE and the QB.

The QB should step up but the rush is coming up the middle so he can't.

What the hell are you talking about? Wasn't all that long ago Rodgers had a bad year. That happens with quarterbacks especially when the team around them is absolute garbage. That said I think Wentz will bounce back (just like Rodgers) and some in here don't. I think what you'll find is that mostly the same people that liked Wentz before still do and the ones that didn't still don't.

yup...as if people never heard of "step up in the pocket"...e45 with his negativity and incessant repetitiveness just gets really old after a short time...

Peters is done for the season with a toe surgery

Herbig is RG

Can’t wait for Howie to re-sign him and give DeSean an extension in the off-season.

yeah.  But Pittsburgh knows how to draft receivers and we dont.  that's the difference.  Over the past 10 years they have drafted Emmanuel Sanders, Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, Juju, and now Claypool and none in the first round. In the same time period we have drafted Riley Cooper, Huff, Matthews, Agholor,  Gibson, JJAW and now Reagor.

I guess we will eventually hit on one if we keep trying 🙂

Oooffff.... that’s hard to look at.

I think the Christian idea of free will would dictate that he take action to improve in order to follow God's plan.
