Him being great doesn't mean the Eagles would be good and bad teams should draft the best player available.  Eagle fans should live by this drafting code for the next several years until the talent base is at an NFL level.

That’s how one of the worst gm’s in history took WR 4 out of 5 years in the top 10.

To me the flavor is better. But the best wild red meat i have tasted is caribou. Hands down

Never had that either...  I need to get the wife to let me go hunting with you...

Eyeballs and a-holes.

Never a fan of scrapple. Pork Roll is my go too. And no, it’s not called Taylor Ham.

Scrapple is the quintessential Pennsylvania Dutch item.  Make sure that literally nothing goes to waste, while somehow making it also mesmerizingly delicious.    Pure genius.

Good point, but having Jefferson and Chase would not be a bad thing.

Well, at the same time.. he did say high quality players.  Most of those WRs were not high quality, just high hype.

Side note: my son (14) asked the other day why certain foods take so long to cook, but others don't?  And we had a bit of a discussion on food science and flavor building, etc.   At the end he said... I just don't like to wait for my food... if I can cook it in 2 minutes, I prefer that to waiting hours, even if it doesn't taste as good.  He has so far to go to learn the ways of the BBQ pitmaster.   But, I shall teach him the ways of properly cooking all manner of meats.  He will learn the ways of the pitmaster and find that some of the tastiest things require the most patience, and done right, the cheapest cuts of meat can often be the most suculent and flavorful, when done properly.

Many Kids these days (in the video game age especially) eat to live they dont live to eat.

You would be welcome. Next up is wild boar in North Carolina. Providing it doesn't get covid canceled in March.

not a fan, but my Mennonite Grandfather LOVED fried scrapple

I haven't tried scrapple in years.   I never really looked for it down here in Florida so I assumed it would be difficult to find anyway.

That said, it's not something I'd eat everyday but once or so a week with some eggs, I'm in!

You aren’t missing anything.

Scrapple is the 12 personnel of breakfast food.  Not pleasing, ugly, bad for you, and oddly sentimental for those stuck in old ways 😂😂

That sounds like a fun trip.  But, truthfully, I'd just slow you down.  I've never actually done a hunt.   Something I've always thought about and considered.  But, my life just isn't built for that.  Little house, no real place to process the meat, and definitely no place to store it until time to consume.    BUT...  nonetheless, a worthy endeavor and one that I respect tremendously.

I feel sick now because deep down I feel the same way. I don’t think Laurie has it in him to fire Roseman. Let’s be honest with ourselves how do you fire a guy you already demoted, promote him back, and then he puts the pieces in place to win you a SB.... on top of that there’s still the possibility Hurts looks good which could also save Rosemans job.

So there goes Chase and Waddle.... & here comes another high character Project WR from the Pac-12 and another extension for Alshon & Peters.

I think someone who has been as good as he is for as long as he has been finds it hard to admit he can't do it anymore

And I am not sure he has figured out what he wants to do after football. Money has always been number one for him, but i think it is clear that he also truly loves the game. He is delusional about his ability and not yet ready to accept life after football.

Yup.  The only hope for Howie to go is that Lurie actually has more of a clue than he has personal loyalty.   But, what we've seen over the years, is that he is immensely loyal to those close to him, despite their negative impact on the team.

Time to shine the spotlight on Lurie.

The Flyers are the best team in Philly.  The Sixers and Phillies are both headed in the wrong direction, but at least they could be shamed into owning it and hiring a pair of outside executives with a clue to oversee the future.

The Eagles are the worst team in the city, now are the worst run team in the city, and it’s time to look at the owner, not the coach or GM.  He’s got a non-football attachment to a guy that he refuses to fire to the detriment of the team.

The answer there is simple... coaching.   Good (not great) money, but still around the game at the same intensity (if not higher) than when playing.

Another rough afternoon coming tomorrow.

Brace yourselves

I'm almost at the point of wanting a blowout loss - I want Howie gone and four ugly losses might be the only thing that will dictate it.

That is likely true.
