I feel sick now because deep down I feel the same way. I don’t think Laurie has it in him to fire Roseman. Let’s be honest with ourselves how do you fire a guy you already demoted, promote him back, and then he puts the pieces in place to win you a SB.... on top of that there’s still the possibility Hurts looks good which could also save Rosemans job.

So there goes Chase and Waddle.... & here comes another high character Project WR from the Pac-12 and another extension for Alshon & Peters.

I think you're joking but in all seriousness Howie can learn from these mistakes and start making better choices.

He can still draft Chase if the opportunity is there.  I think there is a 99% chance that this is the last of JP and Alshon and Howie sees how bad they've looked.  Maybe Lurie brings in someone to help with drafting like he did with Joe Douglas.

Not that I'm a Howie fan but I'd rather see Doug go first.  I feel a new coach, new system, especially on offense can make some of these guys he's drafted look better.  Question is can they find the right guy.

Firing Doug before Howie would be a tragedy. We can’t keep asking a coach to make JAGs look good... that just makes everyone’s job harder. Doug’s had to do that for a few years now and it’s only good enough to win this division, imagine him with a GM who could give him some real talent to work with. Imagine Doug coaching the Cowboys.... we’d be in trouble. thank Christ McCarthy is so terrible at his job.

If anything, Fire Howie and Doug or just keep Doug. But pls god do not fire Doug to keep Howie.

Lol, a guy 3 years removed from the league. Brilliant.

Ever had caribou?

In Iceland. Good eating.  Lean and kind of mild. Tender though. (My daughter tried the rotten shark. Couldn’t go there but I did try the dried cod.  Like salty fish jerky.  Think my cat would have liked it better.)

Ever had Iowa fall venison from the corn fields?  That and west Texas mule deer are good eating.  Hate eastern whitetail that has been in the acorns. My recollection of elk was it had some marble on it and was like real tasty venison. Like real good Texas mule deer.  Don’t know if it is still there but YO Steakhouse in Dallas had some great game dishes. Group of us on a business trip sat down to eat there and shared bites. Yum.  Last time I had elk, probably a dozen years ago.  Not sure I ever had moose.  Is it marbled at all?  I did try bear.  Not bad but the voice in the back of my mind kept telling me I was eating dog.

I don’t mind if they fired Doug, it’s just that Howie must go first.

I had a friend who tried the rotten shark... his answer to how that was:  "There's not enough alcohol in the world to be consumed that would make that seem like a good idea to do again."  He also said he's pretty sure its an elaborate practical joke that the Icelanders are playing on all the tourists that come and want to prove that they are cool.

You think JJAW and Greg Ward (most specifically at PR) would be tearing it up on other rosters?    (or even make other rosters?)

Who’s decision do you think it is to put Greg Ward as PR. The coach of the team or the GM? He was brought in as an undrafted player at WR. Pretty good production at WR for an undrafted player I’d say.

JJAW is a complete miss. There’s no way around that. But that happens to every team sometimes.

Look at someone like Reagor. Excellent when open in space, not very good at running complex routes. Doug waits until week 13 to give him an end around.

Look at someone like Sanders. Comes into the league great at pass blocking and great at running routes and catching the ball. 1 year later, there’s huge regression on both things. Is that the GM’s fault or the Coach’s fault?

George Pickens just made a catch that no one on the Eagles has made in the last 10 years... and it was just a simple back shoulder throw, where he elevated and snatched the ball out of the air with his hands... and wrestled it away as the DB tried to strip it out.

Well, there are rumors that Howie determines active players... so, who knows.    I agree, Doug sucks and has sucked with how he's utilizing the limited amount of talent that has existed on this roster.  But, Howie sucks just as much if not worse.

What if we fire Doug, keep Howie and make Howie the coach?

Make Howie the QB, that way he gets beat up because of his terrible decision making.

Even if it’s true about deciding the active players. Both Reagor and Ward have been active. Why is it they continued to put Ward at PR instead of Reagor until week 13?

Both Alshon and Fulgham have been active, why are we giving way more snaps to Alshon?

I thought about this the other day, we will get a notification on our phones that Howie has been promoted to Super GM where he also has input on the gameplans and help Doug out on game days with the play calling

If you ever find the answer to that question let us know.

Both great questions that I've been bemoaning for months now.  The question is how inept is Doug, and/or how overly micromanaging is Howie (and maybe even Lurie)?

Personally, I want ALL of them gone, but Lurie isn't going anywhere.  But, if he can't separate friendship from business, and let the football people run the football operations, then he has no business being an owner that is respected by fans.  We all think we can do a better job than those in the position to make these decisions from time to time... but frankly, we don't know much... and neither does Jeff.

The Eagles special teams haven't been good this season, especially the return game (last week's return TD aside). Early in the season, who the PR was depended on field position.  If the punt was likely to land inside the Eagles 20 it was Ward back there; if there was a chance at positive field position it was Reagor (and D-Jax at times when Reagor was out).  I assumed this strategy was based on the belief Ward would be more reliable at catching the punt and preventing any muffed catch.  The problems arose when Ward started letting a lot of balls hit the ground and gave up field position.

Kickoff returns have also been problematic.  Scott brings quite a few kickoffs out to the 18-yard line, rather than just letting the ball hit for a touchback.  He had one good kickoff return against the Packers -- but I think a more dynamic returner would have busted that one for a TD

Some marbleling in moose but not much. I haven't had elk since I was a kid. I had Mule deer at the same time. I recall liking it. I love venison (even when feeding on acorns)

About 10 years ago I had an Elk Burger after a round of golf.  This was just before a 90-minute drive back to my home.  I made it about 15 minutes before it became an urgent stop at a roadside fast food restaurant, where their bathroom got destroyed:
