🤦‍♂️    Another 'win now' move... rather than let the young guys grow.  Slay should get healthy, not play.   Just my two cents.

If it helps I don't think Hurts has a snowballs chance of being a franchise q.b.

Sadly.  Which is why using a 2nd round pick on him was a terrible idea.

It looked like PI on him too but didn't matter because AJ Brown is ridiculous.

Saints are fifth in PPG and have given up an average of 8.8 points over their last five games and people think Jalen Hurts, in his first start, is going to hang 20 plus?

C'mon now.

Anyone else concerned that if he keeps pushing this, he's going to make it much worse long-term? He's had a calf and knee injury in back to back weeks.

Yes.   See above.

Agreed. Let's at least see what we have in Jacquet and the other young guy we called up. Let Slay get healthy. And bench Maddox or move him to the slot.

That said, his rookie year is better than any season by a WR the Eagles have drafted since 2009.

Can probably go back much further than that also.

Probably didn't help when they tried to screw the Eagles over by ignoring their defense and picking offensive guys

I could totally see them taking Chase just to F with us if they get higher than us in the draft

It would be a mistake... again.  Surtain or Parsons would be a much better choice for them.

Jacquet is out today.

I can get onboard with that logic. I just feel Howie and Doug are gonna be back next year regardless of what we think or want. I don't see Lurie tossing either one yet.

Howie will be back, they might add a advisor again or a GM and Keep Howie as Executive Vice President title. Doug I think is gone. I think they know they cant keep him. Even if they force him to give up play calling/game planning it proves he is not worth keeping due to him not realize it himself that his offense is below avg . I think there is major tension between Doug and Howie/Lurie.

Yeah... been there, done that.

We have it here on the Eastern Shore of MD (not the other side though). I think this is as far south as it goes though. Never saw it when I lived in Virginia.

I think the Chesapeake blocks its travel further south.  lol

Kind of couldn't this offseason with the whole pandemic...

Ok what about the other 2 or 3 offseasons?  Not just this past offseason but I'm wondering if he works with a coach during any of them.

I visited a friend in DC last year and a waitress suggested scrapple at a popular breakfast spot. I made it through two bites and had to stop. Disgusting.

Most diners don't do it right.  They bake it.

He works with Adam Dedeaux. I’m pretty sure every off-season, but I could be wrong.

I remember he did before his 2017 year, just forget who. I don’t remember hearing about anything recently. He should hire Jordan Palmer this offseason.

I just hope he doesnt feel like he doesnt need it.

How was it prepared? I'm not from the area but SWMBO is from Philly and she slices it thin then fries it.

This is the right way.  Diners thick slice it and bake it.

Miami is gonna upset KC.

And scrapple, while disgusting in every way, has to be crispy.

I kinda agree but the kids are playing regardless. Slay, Maddox and NRC were the only healthy CBs plus whatever PS guys they elevated

I brought this up as well.  If Dallas is picking ahead of us they could take Chase and pair him with Lamb.  Trade Cooper and let Gallup walk.  Wouldn't surprise me if they did.

Mahomes picked off again in the 1st qtr.

Eric Rowe with the pick......remember him?

Maclin and Jackson have... but not if he keeps this pace...

I may have misunderstood you. Are you counting all seasons, or rookie seasons only?
