Dallas and San Diego win can get us to #4. Long term I think it’s better if Bengals win today.

If Bengals win today and Eagles lose, Eagles also go to top 5, because of the SOS.   Eagles would have the same win pct against a weaker schedule.

Everyone always complains about taking JJAW over Metcalf, but taking Hurts over Chinn is worse to me. At least they took a chance on a position of need with JJAW and it just didn't work out. Happens all the time to other teams too. A lot of teams passed on Metcalf because of his neck and route-running. 

But QB was not a position of need coming into this season and them taking Hurts in the second was a "We're the smartest guys in the room" type of pick. They needed safety depth with Jenkins walking and apparently Chinn was who the scouts liked as well.

Then again... they held the Cards out of the end zone on the first turnover... and then held them to 2 FGs... so the game is still within reach... if they'd given up a TD on that first drive and maybe the 2nd or 3rd instead of FGs... it would already be 24-0.   At 13-0, they have a chance to turn it around still.

Well yeah, the game isn't over by any means and the defense has done a decent job keeping them in it but they're going to have to start moving the ball. Their strength on offense over the last few weeks has been their running game and it's not working so far. Gallman only has 22 yards on 7 carries. Daniel Jones has had a ton of pressure in his face too.

It's a tragedy that Howie will be at the controls.

We are stuck with Wentz for another year to see if he can be salvaged...so we aren't looking for a QB in this draft.  Not to mention, we'll be positioned outside of the top 2 QB's anyway.  2022 draft is the time to look for a QB.  

I'm not sure WR, OL, CB, anywhere else is going to be great value from 5-9.  I'd rather trade back about 5-10 spots to accumulate more picks, as you said.  Get assets this year, get the QB next year.  

I just don't see the point of accumulating picks if Howie will be making them.  At least in the top 5-9 picks, the selection is nearly dictated to you and it's harder for a useless GM to screw it up and reach.
