Too nice of a day in mid December to not be outside.  Catching up on an ish ton of yard work and just came in to grab a bite and check the scores.  So it looks like there's a good chance that at the end of the day we're going to be in last place in the most ishy division in the history of the NFL.  That's just F'ing wonderful.  But hey, Jeff,  make sure you keep Howie around next year since you two are so close and all.  Not like any of this is his fault or anything.

I do like the Eagles having the later game on Sundays.  Maybe I'll catch you guys at HT.

I agree but they did the same as Schwartz, 1 on 1 with no help against a much faster player ( Hamler ).

We are stuck with Wentz for another year to see if he can be salvaged...so we aren't looking for a QB in this draft.  Not to mention, we'll be positioned outside of the top 2 QB's anyway.  2022 draft is the time to look for a QB.  

I'm not sure WR, OL, CB, anywhere else is going to be great value from 5-9.  I'd rather trade back about 5-10 spots to accumulate more picks, as you said.  Get assets this year, get the QB next year.  

I just don't see the point of accumulating picks if Howie will be making them.  At least in the top 5-9 picks, the selection is nearly dictated to you and it's harder for a useless GM to screw it up and reach.

If the Eagles can come out of the 2021 draft with two 1st round picks in 2022 then it’ll be a win.

I haven’t watched a ton but I think I like Waddle’s upside a little more. Even so, I’d be happy with either one.

For sure, but Rasul has no awareness in that situation. He doesn't understand that the most important thing in that situation is not get beat deep. Receivers run right by him all the time.

I was Waddle as well until Smith just went insane after he got hurt. If the Heisman was more than the QB award it's turned into, he would get it. As it is he's getting an invite to the finals. Returned a punt for a TD yesterday as well. But you're right Waddle is an insane talent as well.

Kinda thin though.....175 I think.  Any concern with that?  Can always add weight but would that hamper his speed, explosiveness?  

So Watkins over Hightower? Hopefully he gets some snaps. 

I guess Washington is winning the division? It’s a game of who wants it less

People need to get over the term "Upside"  and "Potential" Take the better proven player, plain and simple.

I'm trying to add tape of his from the LSU game. Not only was he burning EVERYONE, he had this amazing grab where he jumped up in traffic and made the catch of the year. The guy isn't just speed. He fights for the ball. Amazing route runner as well. He's gonna be amazing.

That’s my concern. No muscle, rail thin and not particularly fast as is. Hightower has 15 pounds on him and everyone is saying he needs to add weight to not get pushed around at this level. He’s dominating at the college level but I don’t know how well it will translate.
